Review Courgette Restaurant - Canberra

Such an exquisite fine dining experience. We opted for the seven course degustation menu and it did not disappoint. All dishes were beautifully presented and were absolutely mouth watering. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend to anyone living or visiting Canberra!

A beautiful fine dining experience in the Canberra CBD. A warm atmosphere suited to couples, small groups or larger functions. Service is excellent. The food is well presented and of high quality. For that special occasion, this restaurant should be very high on your list.

Terrible experience. I been here last Christmas, it was much more batter last time. It take us 3 hours to finish the tasting menu this time. When I complain the salmon is not fresh and smelly, the owner came and told us it is impossible, the fish is fresh just come today. His face looks unhappy and the attitude is not kind at all. I think he have not even tasted it. The waiter there is not trained properly. They came to our table with the next course, but we still have the empty plate of last course on table. We opened a bottle of wine. There is no one see our glasses are empty until we ask for refill. The food is just at average level, noting special. I will never go back again since the experience was extremely disappointing.

My partner and I came here for a early valentines, this was the best place we have ever eaten at and the desert triumphed over anything I had ever eaten!!! The customer service is immaculate and the waitresses are always on top of everything 24/7. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Back to Courgette for the first time in near 10 months. This time we had the seven course degustation menu with paired wine. The Beef Fillet, Meringue and Cheese platter were the perfect last three dishes. Divine! 🤗

I had the 7 course vegetarian degustation menu, which was absolutely fantastic. Each course was excellent and I enjoyed every bite. Even their butter was delicious! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Visiting Canberra we were highly recommended a meal at Courgette, which we are so glad to did! This hatted restaurant was sublime from the moment we entered. The service was incredibly professional, friendly and warm! The decor and ambience was impressive! The wine list extensive! The food was phenomenal!! We had the four course menu and couldn’t have made a bad choice. My only disappointment was that my husband wouldn’t share his dessert once I finished mine!! What and exceptional dining experience!!

We were visiting Canberra overnight and wanted a unique way to herald in the New Year. Courgette didn't disappoint. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was attentive, informative, friendly and professional. The five course, evening degustation was superb. Each dish was a work of art. A visual feast to the eyes and an extraordinary eating experience. The flavours were beautiful. Each dish had been well thought out tasted amazing. Canberra is lucky to have such a beautiful restaurant.

Food was great. Floor staff terrible. I've been before and I couldn't fault it however this time around, I was left bitterly disappointed. I wanted it to be an unforgettable night for my dad's 76th bday and it was, but not for the right reasons. The food couldn't be faulted. That was great as expected, however time between courses was a bit long. We arrived at 7pm and was still waiting for our second course at 845pm. We ordered drinks at the start of our night which took another 20 minutes to get to our table. At no point during the night did anyone come back and ask if we wanted anymore drinks, which is a loss for the restaurant as my father was drinking a $14 glass of scotch and would have gladly ordered more. One of the floor staff walked around and gave all the tables more bread rolls. We were the last table in the corner and the gentleman had no more rolls left so left the room. I was assuming to collect more and bring to our table. I was wrong. He came back sans the bread basket and did not come near our table. We waited and then had to ask for some bread rolls ourselves. As I mentioned, the food was amazing however the unforgivable service or no service that we received ruined the whole night. I actually apologised to my father and told him next time I'll take him to Hogs breath as the service is much better!

We only book in the afternoon on the drive to Canberra so 6pm was the only option to be seated with agreement to be out by 8pm. Everything was very good food staff and timing except we had to request to not have the third course brought until a 15 minute break as the first two were rushed. Would highly recommend it to friends.

Excellent service with fine dining, awesome decorated plates full of yummy ness and a best quite place to visit with your loved ones. It was our wedding anniversary yesterday and the dessert plate came up with a candle and "Happy Anniversary" wish written up on the plate. Would love to visit again.

Such an amazing restaurant. We went for our wedding anniversary and it was an amazing experience . Everything about Courgette was fantastic. The food was sensational, even though it's small meals it's plenty. My hubby said he shouldn't of had the second roll. Fine dining at its best. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, nothing could have been better. I have been there numerous times, this time I introduced 6 friends, they loved it. 5 Star all the time. Well done.

The ambience and service was wonderful. The food was nice, however some of the menu items were misleading on paper to what you get. In some instances the accompaniments overpowered/over shone the star of the dish.
