My first time at XO and overall a great experience! Some memorable dishes, but the coconut rice was a let down, undercooked, so I didn't finish it. The dessert was great though, looked simple but everything was just right.

Beautiful Canberra spot that I have been wanting to try for a while! Decor is so calming and the lighting is soothing. Great first impressions.
We came a week after lockdown ended and the set menu was wonderful. Asian light flavours and a nice addition of the pumpkin coconut curry main.
The mackerel starter was my favourite. We also tried the Golden Ticket, NWA, and an old fashioned from the bar which were nice.
Service was very friendly and attentive and whilst we didn’t have dietary requirements that night it was appreciated that they asked.

One of the best set menu we have ever had! Been to many places do set menu this is the best one in value wise. We were fed too full! Love every single meal they served. Staffs were friendly and we were looked after well. Thanks for having us. We will definitely come back again.

I visited this restaurant for my friends birthday. We were a party of 3 and paid $88 per person (a total of $264) for the 6 course meal. I was very disappointed about the overall serving sizes for each meal. For $88 per person, I was expecting that we would each get a plate to ourselves for each course. However, you only get one or two plates that you are required to share between your table.
The portions were too small for the overall cost and the quality of the meal you get.
The worst by far was the dessert - we were given two small sticky date puddings that we needed to share between the three of us. I was shocked that as we paid so much money per person why we weren't all given a $12 pudding? Unfortunately, because we had to share the dessert, we all ended up getting COVID-19 from my friend who was unknowingly positive at the time.
This is a very expensive restaurant that, in my opinion, is very stingy with its servings. During a pandemic it is not appropriate to being sharing meals like this. I will not be returning and recommended people spend their money elsewhere for better value.

A quiet small birthday lunch. So good. Set menu launched today. All tastes catered for. Vegetarian oprion covered off for one of our party. Not the cheapest lunch venue but definitely value for money and we will be coming back. Menu and wine list changes regularly. Make room for the ultra smooth in house soft serve ice-cream. This is another destination restaurant in Narrabundah. Setting a high bar with service and high quality food. A very good user friendly online booking process. PS, Need some more obvious external signage to make it easy for first time patrons.

Don’t understand why this place has such good review, was there last night and wings, squid, cauliflower was all done in the same deep fried batter. No flavor at all... sweet chili is so bland. Mains were very average and at $85 per person at end of night. Not good so many better places in Canberra to eat!!!!!!!!!

This is honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. I travel a lot within Australia and worldwide, and this happens to be one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I've experienced. Being part Malaysian, the authenticity of dishes stay true to their heritage bringing a range of rich, exotic, and punchy spice blends with fresh new presentations, combinations and innovations. Been here MANY times, every single time it's a 5 star experience as soon as you enter the door. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and fantastic service. I love everything I’ve tried and I try my hardest to try everything on the menu! And they’ve even converted me to dessert!! The black rice pudding, yum! And OMG the dumplings!!! Plus Kent and the team are lovely, unpretentious and excellent at their jobs! My favourite canberra restaurant and one of my favourite restaurants in the world.

Simply devine! Food was absolutely incredible and easily catered for my food allergies - almost the entire menu was GF. Amazing staff and service and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The look of the restaurant was very clean and stylish too and every diner looked to be having a great experience. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again.

When the aroma of kaffir lime leaves from beef rendang hit me first it was like a aroma of god . I had to use my both hand, drop my gentleman ship and lick my finger couple of times to enjoy the full flavour from lamb. Cooking is an art and only few people know how to do it, well done !!
