Potentially the best brunch spot in Canberra. Brilliant service, great food and lovely atmosphere. I highly suggest trying to make a booking, as it's normally quite busy. My husband and I quite enjoyed sitting outside, with provided blankets and watching the rain during our brunch on Sunday. Fantastic coffee and I am now completely smitten by the French Breakfast.
Simply Divine Bruno, thanks for making us the famous Bridget Bardot cake( brioche cake with orange cream), the best cherry brûlée, petite jam donuts, amongst a selection of other treats. Can't wait for the weather to warm up as we are so looking forward to your ongoing hospitality, your friendly smiling staff and the best cakes in Canberra. Thank you overall experience- Excellent
Food, service and atmosphere 5 star!! Can't say enough about how delicious the food was! Mouth watering thinking about it! I would recommend Breizh Cafe to everyone! Thanks Bronny, Bruno and staff. Look forward to going there again soon!
My girlfriend and I went one Sunday lunch. We got all the specials of the week and just loved every bit of it! The special of french toast, rhubarb and yohgurt was the best we've ever had! The waiter was incredibly friendly and really topped off the experience.
The Breizh Cafe is a great place to go, the service, the atmosphere and the food is amazing. We will definitely be back.
Excellent service, friendly staff, food are just devine👌 Coffee well made, very accommodating and welcoming atmosphere. piece of heaven in Ainslie!
Wonderful atmosphere; supportive of dietary issues; lovely owners, family and staff; always welcoming. Delicious, interesting, innovative food. Hope Bruno and Bronwyn never leave Ainslie.
The food was very nice, but the highlight was the customer service from who I assume was the boss and the rest of the staff there. It was our first time and we were catered to and serviced very well. Thanks!
Everything is delicious. Divine bread and a delicious Galette du Rois today. Have never been disappointed.
Fantastic food and great service... Could eat there every day. Love it

OMG I could not believe I chanced upon this cafe!
The galettes are amazing and the crepes are divine. The coffee was very good. The service though was impressive, professional and courteous.
The food and service are always first class!
Gorgeous food, friendly staff, great coffee. Can't wait to go back.
It's a lovely place with amazing food and would easily be worth 5 stars if not for the swarm of flies inside the cafe (and over products in the bakery cabinet). Don't rely on online bookings either, call up to be safe.
Just one of the best places to eat in Canberra I wouldn't go any place else when I am looking for French food.Amazing value for money and the best friendly staff same service every time couldn't be better thank you again and we will be sure to be back very soon
We came here today and was last minute decision, however turned out to be above our expectations.. food was really delicious, coffee was good.. recommended, no complaints at all
Both my wife and i really liked this place. Servings are on the small side but the flavour is really good. Pastries are also very nice and so is the coffee. Was really busy but all staff were great.
Genuine Breton galettes, quite tasty and interesting, although the habit of piling fillings on top of the pancake seemed a little inefficient. You can rely on good quality ingredients, though. Lots of good cakes, too. The prices seem quite high for a simple galette, although maybe not so excessive for Canberra, and the interior gets crowded and hot, and the coffee was a bit murky. Still a cut above most Canberra cafes and good for a change of cuisine.
A nice little French cafe...I'm always in the hunt for crêpes!!!! A little gem hidden amongst the suburban shops.
Love it...nice chill cute atmosphere and decor...
Their galettes are super nice...usually not the biggest fan of buckwheat... but they did it super crispy and nice with really fresh toppings...
And of course I had to have a savoury crepe....my fav choice...salted caramel with caramelised apples....the crepe is thin soft and chewy just the way a French crepe should be..
will definitely visit again!
Gorgeous little suburban cafe tucked in the corner. Had an amazing almond crossiant and a nice coffee. The service is exceptional and very welcoming :)
A hidden gem. Wonderful service, fantastic coffee, delicious sweets and crepes to die for. This is probably my favourite cafe in Canberra now.
This is what real galette should be! I've eaten here four times so far. And loving it. The galettes are crisp, perfect hint of sourness to the batter. The fillings are very high quality, beautifully composed on the plate. The only thing I would change is more butter in the finishing of the galette - but then, I'm a butter monster!
If you haven't tried galette before, don't worry that it doesn't seem like a lot of food when it arrives. Believe me, it is filling!
And best of all, it's gluten free. Galette are made from buckwheat, which is a fruit, and not a grain at all.
Sipping the traditional cidre accompaniment was also wonderful. The coffee is gooood, the spicy hot chocolate extra good.
The cakes look delicious - so far there's always been a gluten free option - but I've been too full to try one.
Definitely give this place a go. Yum!
With specialties from the French region of Brittany, Breizh Cafe offers crepes, galettes (crepes made with buckwheat flour), croissants, pain au chocolat and other pastries along with a range of French cider and whisky.

I found this cafe for my partner so she could have a lovely breakfast. And she loved the savoury crepes. For me, I prefer simple breakfasts and can't handle rich foods that early in the morning. The crepes were great but, for me, rich flavouring. The quality was excellent and the crepes were made with care. For my partner, these crepes were exactly what she wanted and loved them. The staff were friendly and there appears to be a number of customers they know by name (always a good sign of a quality cafe).
Really enjoyed breakfast. Great food and coffee the French breakfast was delicious, the perfect light start to the day. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
First time visiting this cafe with my friends. And it was great. The food is amazing, and the owner is nice, too! I surely will come back to bring my other friends (:
Food is always delicious, the staff are lovely, and the coffee is great. Amazing crepes, though I always find it hard to go past the omelette (pro tip: order a dessert crepe to share if you can’t resist the savoury options). Also lots of interesting French treats and pastries to take home :)
The crepes were excellent - both sweet and savoury ones. We had an egg and bacon crepe and lemon and sugar crepe with strawberries. The coffee was very good too. I recommend trying this Cafe to get away from the standard breakfasts.
We tried their Valentine's Day dinner and was pleased with their thoughtful service and menu. For $40+, we had two charcuteries, two mains and two desserts, plus two non-alcoholic drinks.
I was surprised that the restaurant has changed hands and whilst the crepes taste different, they were still tasty.

The savoury and sweet crepes: ham and cheese and Nutella and banana are excellent and is one way of tasting France 🇫🇷 without having to go there. Definitely worth trying over and over again. Yours truly @fooderarri
