Civic Asian Noodle House - Canberra - Photo album

Have been here in many occasions as become a favourite within walking distance. Food is always good and hot, but either lacks taste or flooded with it. No real consistency between visits with the chef(s). Staff are friendlier than other like venues. Price is reasonable for some items. Best to have
Coozy place. Amazing pad thai with filling portion. Tried deep fried ice cream for the first time. It looked amazing but was not my favourite in terms of taste for me. Highly recomended for pad thai
This place is a walking distance from the civic centre and ANU. I loved the chicken Laksha, it was rich and the portion was filling too. The prices are affordable.
Indeed, it has the best Laksa in Canberra! This place made us realise that Laksa is indeed a good dish and made us a fan as well. Our usual orders are the Combination Laksa and any of the noodle dishes. The price of two will not exceed $30 and you already have a full meal (even have a takeaway).
The food dishes - Pho, Char Quay Tieu, Fried rice, and Laksa - we ordered for dinner were fast, tasty, anddecent as Google reviews commented. As a visitor in Canberra, this restaurant is pretty closed in walking distance from some hotels in a downtown. Quiet streets while walking back to the accomo
Best King Prawn Laksa I’ve had in a long time… had the lunch special yesterday, and decided to come back to try the Chicken Red Curry for Dinner tonight!
The combination laksa is absolutely delicious! Lots of flavour, and chock full of deliciousness.
Nice flavour and good value in that there was a relatively high ratio of "seafood" to noodles in both dishes. However, the crispy noodles weren't that crispy. Also in both, the calamari tasted quite fishy - based on colleagues' comments that might be our fault for ordering seafood in Canberra. Noted
