Good food. Good vibe. Busy but not too noisy. I would like a restaurant like this where I live. Quick varied filling cheapish, and reliable.
Yum! Went in a large group, booking at the last minute and were accommodating with friendly service. Cheap, cheerful and really delicious. Will come again next time in town. I had the homemade ravioli aurora and it was just perfection.

The menu is quite extensive with so many Italian dishes on the menu β pastas (from $18.90-$26.90), pizzas (from $19.90-$22.90), and items from the grill and other proteins (from $24.90-$30.90) as well as dessert (from $12.50-$13.50). Prices are not cheap but I guess the Kingston βtaxβ has to be considered. I ordered the risotto pescatora ($26.90) which came with king prawns, squid, fish and mussels. I was happy with the portion size and the way the risotto had been cooked. Not too soft or gluggy!
Dinned in on a slow Wednesday night. Was seated quickly and given menus. Unfortunately after that, it took about 30 minutes until we were approached again. We had pizza for entree, unfortunately it wasn't enjoyable. Dough was tasteless, flat and hard. Not enough yeast or heat to let the dough rise. Pizza sauce was very acidic. Ingredients were fresh though and chicken well marinated. For main I had home made spinach and ricotta ravioli in a cream sauce cooked with mushrooms, bacon, pasley. Ravioli was BEAUTIFUL! Ricotta was creamy and very well seasoned. The sauce I wasn't a big fan of- too rich and very salty.
My friend had the chicken parmigiana. A very nice meal, glad it was a traditional parmigiana with eggplant and napolatana sauce. Good size meals for the price paid.
The Best Italian. La Dolce Vita is the best Italian food I've ever had, and the service is excellent. I love their pizza puttanesca and ravioli.

The food is very good, price is pretty average though the service it is a bit slow. Still would recomand pasta the chicken breast was on the drier side. The scallop pasta is very tasty price:24
Thorough enjoyed our experience at La Dolce Vita last Saturday. Recommendations by the lovely Sam were spot on. Pasta dishes Gamberi Rosa and the Puttanesca delish, matched perfectly with a very nice, inexpensive red ( I've since purchased 1/2 doz for home) thanks Sam π we'll be back on our next ACT visit π
Overall really nice. The bruschetta was a tad soggy apart from the edges but the pasta was very delicious and made up for it. The decor was cool, a white Vespa, some life size statues and the mouth of truth (as seen in Roman holiday).
My favourite Italian venue, food is amazing, BYO and the staff is lovely.
Always come back and enjoy the gnocchi and ravioli. Best in town !
