Review Goodberry's Creamery Erindale - Canberra

I’ve been a regular for many years. Goodberry’s has always been my fave food place to visit. I’m always greeted with a smile and the service from both management and staff is always friendly and professional. Their signature concretes are exceptional (try adding cookie dough!) and their nachos are incredibly tasty. Keep up the exceptionally great work, guys and gals!

Goodberry’s is a custard ice cream shop, located in Erindale Wanniassa ACT for more than twenty years. They have a great selection of different sundaes and other combinations, drinks and nice hotdogs and nachos. Great for an afternoon snack, dine in or take out.

Although the food was mildly pleasant sometimes, I don't think the quality of hygiene is good enough. I have found hair strands and dust particles in the toppings through the counter. I wish to think about the food they have given me does not include any of those in it but how can we know? Hope to see some improvements on my next visit.

Pretty good service. Quick and prompt. A bit noisy but I was with my kids so it's not like I was looking for a peaceful place to consume my hot dog and coffee. Good quality is good. Coffee average but not unpalatable. Definitely a return.

By far my favourite ice cream/frozen custard place in Canberra. I’ve been here since I was a kid. Service is always good, and the frozen custard is 10/10. Prices are also quite good for what you’re getting.

The young girl with long brown hair tonight was so rude, very unpleasant service she gave she truly needs to understand how to provide customer service and how to be polite. I won't be returning. Also the supreme dog is nothing how it used to be. The concrete were so watered down 🤢

We just had a delicious concrete at Goodberries, great selection of flavours. Terrific staff. Highly recommend for a delicious desert. Thank you. Cath

I ordered two ice creams a fudge brownie and a strawberry one. I asked for both to be large. i also ordered a mediucaramallow thick shake. We waited for 20 minutes, every person around us received their orders, we still waited, they were busy so we were patient, 30 minutes comes round and i walk in and ask where my order is and the manager or boss asks one of the workers what number did he say before and the male worker asked one of the female staff to get it from the freezer . we left the goodberries and drove down the road and my drink was not in the bag, we returned and it was still in the freezer. we left again and realised one of our icecreams was large and the other was small and it also did not have the requested toppings even tho we paid for them. The ice ream was the consistency of soup, the brownie was rock hard and the caramallow thick shake was horrible, the other ice cream was enjoyable. The male worker who placed our icecreams in the freezer is completely incompetent, he walked around slow, he was yelling over people ordering there food/ dessert. i noticed when the female staff were adding toppings to orders he would bump their arm which would make them spill the spoon full. All he did was flirt and waste time. I drove 9 hours and just wanted something sweet for the last hour i had to drive, i waited 30 minutes, order was wrong, incompetent staff and lazy workers. I have never had this experience before!

Love, love, love it. Staff are great too.

The desserts are amazing but the service is absurdly slow at peak times. Shop itself is very tired and needs a refit. They need a bigger store and more staff

Hidden gem in Canberra, coming from a New South Welshman!

Great Erindale institution with tasty frozen custard deserts. A real treat.

Booo. We had a heap of people over and you would not take a phone order to pick up. Come down order and wait she said. We wanted to order dinners and desserts, told her we would wait up to an hour or so. It's Tuesday and you can't do phone orders to pick up in one to two hours. We are all done with you lot.

Goodberry’s is probably one of the best franchises that Canberra has one up on the other States and Territories! Huge concretes and such a creamy treat! I ordered the one with butterscotch sauce and macadamia nuts and it was made with lots of nuts and sauce! The only thing I wish they had was more base custard flavours other than just chocolate and vanilla but the assortment of toppings definitely makes up for it. Give it a go if you’re in Canberra!

Yum yum yum! Goodberrys is delicious. We went twice during our stay in Canberra. I had a butterscotch sundae and picnic sundae. Both delicious.

GOODSTUFF. Always crazy busy but quick to serve and consistent quality. Guilty pleasure

I need more!. I actually go to the one in Belconnen but it isn't on here, same stuff though.

I love the chocolate, my staple is chocolate concrete with oreo and cheesecake (and more recently, chocolate fudge).

The place is a bit outdated but that doesn't really bother me, I'm not there to sit in anything but a booth and devour my frozen custard.

13 years and counting. Everytime i return to canberra, goodberrys is a must stop. Memories of uni days, ahhh love the flavour, so sad the belconnen store went!
Anyway people, try the vanilla thickshake with triple peanut butter fudge.. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Pretty awesome frozen custard dessert. You can choose to add either vanilla or chocolate custard to mix in with your choice of flavours/goodies. Love the cookies and cream concrete! Big sizes - a small concrete is a massive serve for 1 person. Very quick service.

Canberra Classic. Goodberry's frozen custard (so named because it contains egg) is delicious. Basically you can choose vanilla or chocolate soft serve custard, and a bunch of mix ins, like with cold rock, but actually delicious.
Eat Love Move
Beats Cold Rock, hands down.. Goodberries makes the creamiest frozen custard, without the icey chunks that you find in your typical icecream sundae. Although it has that tacky American feel to it, I love the product that Goodberries has on offer. Try the cheesecake mixed through custard. It can't be beat!

Nice Frozen Custard. My favourite frozen custard flavour at Goodberry's is the Rocky Road. It tastes like liquid nougat and is absolutley delicious. I find Goodberry's reasonably priced and they provide you with generous servings, their flavours are better than Rubee's. Note however, the hot dogs are a bit of a miss.

Every Canberran knows Goodberry's and northaide equivalent Rubees. Delicious and a must visit

Frozen custard. Mmm frozen custard. Had never heard of it until I moved to Canberra. It's like soft-serve icecream, but made from custard, so it's VERY sweet, but quite delicious. I can only ever get through a small though.
