Loved my Chai Latte (lactose free). My scroll was to die for. Fast & friendly service.
Came here for a mid-week breakfast and had a great whole experience. Menu is good with tasty options and not too pricey. We sat outside, it was a tad cool but had a lovely view of the foreshore.
Coffees were served quickly and were delicious. I chose the mushroom and rye toast with chive labnah. I added the option of poached egg and I'm glad I did as I felt it needed it. The dish was really delicious, especially that wonderful labnah. My two kids loved it too, eating most of it! Good sized portion too.
My husband chose the breakfast wrap and really enjoyed it. The sausage was super spicy, not a complaint as he loves spice. His only suggestion would be to add a sauce to the wrap or perhaps on the side?
Terrific staff, food was served super quick and everyone was very friendly. Would certainly recommend.
My family ate here a year ago and loved everything about the place so we came back straight away on our recent Canberra trip. I ordered the the Smashed Avocado Bruschetta and my god - it was seriously one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten. Balanced flavors, fresh ingredients,, generous size, visually appealing . Wow. Great, relaxing location and friendly service too. Well done guys - you nailed it!
This place has lots of yummy options on the menu as well as healthy options and the service is very fast. It is quite trendy and average prices. I had the smashed avo bruschetta, it was not your average avo on toast, it had tomatoes, onions and barbecue sauce as well as the poached eggs but still delicious. The tropical juice was amazing. Nice view of the water from the outdoor seating area out the front.
My friends and I were on a weekend trip to Canberra from Sydney. We were looking for a place to eat brunch and saw that Bean & Table was very busy. We decided to give it a go and we were pleasantly surprised.
I ordered the blueberry hotcakes and the golden turmeric latte. I was so happy with my meal. The hotcakes were so fluffy and delicate, with the perfect amount of blueberries. The portion size was very generous. It was my first time trying turmeric latte and since then it has been my favourite drink. The golden colour was incredible. It really lived up to its name. Would definitely come back here again when I visit Canberra.
The location is really great being right next to the lake. We went for a nice walk after our meal.
The only thing that could have been better was the service. It was a busy time when we got there and we had to wait a while for someone to seat us.
