An absolutely gorgeously cosy cafe π
We went here for a morning meal for my son's 12th birthday. The staff were helpful and polite and when they realised it was his birthday they kindly bought out 2 tiny free gelatos for him and his sister.
It was warm inside the cafe and the food cooking in the kitchen made our mouths water. The egg and bacon sandwich was perfect! The iced coffees were some of the best we've had and the coffee was good.
It's so beautifully spread out in such a small space with sturdy tables and chairs, a lovely and clean toilet and a kids play area. They also sell beautiful handmade craft and fabric items in the corner ππ
I definitely can't wait to come back here and try their waffles!! I've heard nothing but amazing feedback about them.

Coffee was good and the kids play area is pretty handy (our young one liked it). The breakfast was below average though. Ordered one dish with a fried egg and it was a burnt abomination, the other dish was scrambled eggs and there was shell in the eggs. I wonβt be back unless I hear they have come good.
Thought Iβd add an update - we returned for another visit earlier in the year, looks like there are new owners, big menu changes and the kids area has been removed. The food was better but my 4 year old was far less entertained. Iβve also added an image of the burnt egg from the first trip.

Amazing food and great service. The place is nice and relaxed with some awesome smooth jazz music to create the mood. I always get the eggs Benedict and its delightful (could do with a little more of the amazing holindaise sauce on top because it's beautiful).

Good choices on menu...my Mum hasn't stopped praising the handmade Chicken and Vegetable Curry Pie. I had a special - Scrambled Eggs with Pine Nuts & avocado ....delicious. ..Coffee awesome π

I ordered the Creamy Chicken Pasta. Very nice. The Cafe has a nice feel. The Long Black was a bit ordinary. I would recommend it. It makes a nice change from the Coffee Club.

I don't know why this place is so highly reviewed in a city of excellent cafes around every corner. For coffee? It's good. That's where the praise ends.
I've gone half a dozen times now and ordered varying items off the menu due to its location near my house. The food is uninspired, basic and lacks any semblance of why I would bother spending money there. As an example recently I ordered the prawn pasta salad. It was cheap mayonnaise, prawns with their tails and shell still on, 3 slices of tomato and lettice. If this is the quality of food they sell at their business I hate to see what they eat at home.
Save yourself the disappointment and money. Take the 5 minutes to go to Belconnen or Jameson Centre and be spoilt for choice of good well priced cafe cuisine.

I finally found a place that makes good hot hot chocolate. Food was great and service wonderful. Thank you.
