Purchased a take away over $160 last night for birthday dinner with family. We have been buying from The restaurant since it opened and meals in past have been great BUT last night they were tasteless no flavour and the satay beef smelled a little ‘off’. The restaurant was very busy, but still maybe the cook forgot to put any flavours in all the meals - only the fried rice was good. The garlic prawns were not cooked properly near raw. Very disappointed. Won’t be going back sorry.

Not one to write a reveiw but after ordering dinner tonight I would have to say that it was the worst and least flavoursome Chinese I've ever had. The Sizzling Mongolian Beef had absolutely zero flavour and the fried rice was very average.

The hot & sour has no chopped veggies taste was good but portion is too less. It’s Chinese mate. The bowl below was less than half. Can you imagine??????

Due to delays in renovation of restaurant after kitchen fire, there was delay in food delivery from City restaurant to Holt.
Was worth the wait, as restaurant has a new modern look. Staff are really friendly and accommodating especially during this pandemic.
My family loves the various dishes and make a point of enjoying mud crab in XO sauce with vermicelli for special occasions.

Their duck two course was beautiful! We had the duck pancake and San Choy Bao. Dry chilli beef and special fried rice are our usual go to dishes. The lady managing the restaurant is always nice and attentive. One of our favourite Chinese restaurants in Canberra!

I have been a regular for atleast 9 years. Amazing food and great customer service. The Spring rolls are my absolute favourite along with beef and black bean sauce. Perfection!! Food is always ready on time and always fresh. Well done guys.

I once lived at Holt now live in McKellar have very often shopped at Kippax. Still do. Great Shopping Centre has everything you need. Always have a coffee at Cafe at Kippax. Good coffee friendly staff.
