My friends said it was a terrific cafe, restaurant, meeting place and I agreeLots of room to park, spacious dining inside with high ceiling, great selection of drinks/food/reading material, splendid views through the large windows/open kitchen/Downer oval, and lovely staff who make it wonderful.

My 9yo son has been attending a drama workshop just opposite Gang Gang this week. Because I live on the southside of town and don't drive I have had to catch the bus to pick him up and have whiled away a few hours at this hidden gem. Nice coffee, plently of outdoor seating and some cool retro tunes. I don't get a lot of time to myself and this was a welcome break. Keep up the good work!

Awesome salmon benedict and great coffee. They like those mug size cups with a big surface area on top; only drawback; cools too fast.

Loved the lamb cutlets with cauliflower mash and salad. The lime made it even better. We are eating low carb high fat so this meal was perfect. It's hard to find cafe meals without carbs of some sort (chips, spuds, rice, noodles, pasta) so this works well for my two daughters and me, and our little kids. Loved hearing Ram for for first time in many years; my daughter had never heard it. Thanks.

Huge rap for Iraj and the team at GangGang Cafe. We held my daughter's big birthday celebrations there last night, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, food was brilliant, and the whole night was geared around making sure the guests were happy. Generous, fun and very accommodating in a really beautiful environment - I highly recommend this place for your next function!

Great for a nice sunny bite out for lunch. Pretty sure the pasta was home made. Meals were generous and not ridiculously priced. A suburban gem.

Great little meeting place for coffee and a feed. Free entertainment with Dan Myles and his band on Saturday, very easy listening. You could of even had a picnic under the trees on the oval. Old cars and motors bikes, Great atmosphere all round. Will be back for more for sure

I really liked the vibe at this place. The staff were friendly and the food was really good. The French toast was a massive serving so I reckon, if you can, share it and also a savoury dish. Would go back. They seem to do some cool live music and other events here.

Unassuming cafe tucked away, took the opportunity to drop by here while I was traveling. Stopped the first day and picked up the granola, was brilliantly crunchy and very well portioned. Impressed me enough to come back the next day, grabbed the smashed avo + bacon. Beyond generous serve. Had to just about roll myself out of the restaurant! Plenty of seating indoors and out. Staff are friendly and service is super quick. Well worth a visit

I love coming here. It’s got a great community atmosphere, incredible selection of interestingly-flavoured sweets (pictured is this lemony pistachio and zucchini cake) and v good veg/vegan options. As a bonus, you’re almost guaranteed to spot many dogs on the oval opposite. Also a beautiful spot for gigs, with a very healthy live music schedule!

Awesome little gem inside Downer Village. Nothing fancy , but the atmosphere is quite and relax. The coffee was good as well! Definitely a good spot for catch up or lazy morning brekkie

Love the energy of this cafe and the servers are really friendly. One dish I cannot recommend is the lamb baguette. I expected it to come with some kind of crunchy vegetable, however the whole experience was wet and grey. The bread was also of the chewier kind which by now we should all know is not the best type for a soft sandwich. I will be coming back for coffee and the toasties :)
