The most underrated fast food joint. They'd do quite better if they were located to the adjacent street. Fantastic burgers and waffle fries. Can't go wrong with anything there.

Burger was really good and reasonably priced, waffle fries were some of the best I've had but unfortunately the mac n cheese was really bad. I'd never had a bad mac n cheese until now but I'd strongly recommend to steer clear. Everything else was great though!

Tucked away at the ground floor of an apartment block is one of canberra's most delicious home made burgers...way better than most I have tried. You won't leave here still hungry

Best filthy burgers in town! Big portions, friendly atmosphere, serves beers and awesome service. Took mum there after shopping for mothers day to share 2 burgers between 3 people and the owners gave us free servings of waffle fries and drinks! They said it was for mothers day but we didn't see any signs advertising that. That is bloody brilliant! I'll be back with mates =)

This was a place we decided to visit from a random google search of what to have for dinner in Canberra 😂 Upon arrival there was a friendly atmosphere. When placing a order they where very polite and read the order back, oh my god I was shocked at how cheap it was ! 2 x big burgers and a large waffle chips 2x drink $50 wow! Food was on the table fast for how busy it was! There is parking across the road, bonus. Now what I’m really here to show you is the burger! CHEESE-GASM what we all really mean when we say we want a cheese burger!!!!!!!!

Best burger place around. I LOVE the made to order and the buns are to die for. Salads are also amazing and honestly one of the best places to get coffee in Canberra. The gelato is really just the icing on the cake! Keep it up guys this place is amazing

Sweet potato chips were awesome The cheese fries were OK However the burger was greasy and the bacon was undercooked .... The meat patty was well cooked and season well There was too much sauce/condiment which made the bread soggy I can't see mysel hurting back

I got diagnosed coeliac a few months ago and devastated to find that gluten free replacements are consistently disappointing....but not at Burger Hero. I had one for lunch a instantly found my new favorite takeaway. This place is incredible. I need to go back and try other combinations ands maybe even get my name on that challenge board :)

What an epic dinner, I recommend stretchy pants for an outing to Burger Hero! Massive burgers and for $10 extra I suggest you add waffle fries and a beer. I didn't finish this meal deal but boy it was tasty! Thank you to the staff on Tuesday night for the friendliness and great hospitality!

Visited tonight around 8pm. We got the top burger (double smash burger, a chicken schnitzel patty, onion rings, pickles and hero sauce) and a own creation burger plus waffle fries to share. Both burgers were cooked perfectly - the smash burgers had crispy, caramelised edges. The fried chicken was perfect and crispy and the cheese all melted and gooey. I would have added tomato (or I should have put tomato sauce) for a bit of freshness, but you can't go wrong with onion rings and a schnitty on a burger. The signature hero sauce was delicious as well - really nice and garlicky and definitely added to the whole burger. The waffle fries were nice and crispy on the outside and a decent serve to share for 2-3 people. The burger was definitely sizeable, so I was really pleased with the quality and value for money! The staff were friendly. Really nice low key place for a quick feed or takeaway - will be visiting again to try more burgers! Overall: 8.5/10 Taste: 8.5/10 Presentation: 8/10 Value for money: 8.5/10

It's a good burger, but not great. If you want to avoid the hassle of going to grease monkey/brod etc then this place is worth it. The sweet potato chips are really good - super crispy which is rare for sweet potato (but don't eat them takeaway, they will be soggy). All in all its a fine place, but not top tier of Canberra burgers.

Wow! They have great deals here, and massive sizes, could not finish the burgers! The service was great, and the menu is welcoming. The meals came quickly and presented nicely. Really enjoyed this meal and can’t wait to come back.

THE ONLY BURGER PLACE YOU NEED TO TRY IN CANBERRA!!! The burgers here are absolutely epic. Make sure you get anything on the menu with extra cheese (of the deep fried variety, of course). Great playlist and a chilled vibe, staff make you feel completely at home. Can't wait to go back.

I love Burger Hero burgers! They're big and they have weekly specials. They recently had a ramen chicken kaarage burger and it was so good. There are lots of good places to get burgers in Canberra and Burger Hero is one of them.

Had a 'King Kong' burger with side order of fries.....Very BIG indeed.....300gm beef with home made American style sauce, heaps of cheese some onions and other greens which were dwarfed by the big bun and meat mass! Quick service and good price....Probably ate too much.... The burger fell apart by the end....If u like volume and quick service....This is your place....Not the most exciting place to sit in but I suspect most customers pick up only. The music playing very loud out front wasn't my thing. If the music is for attention, it certainly works. 🇬🇷

A friend and I caught up at Burger Hero in Braddon for lunch one weekday. We had both heard of Burger Hero but had never tried it. There were a few tables and chairs in the small eatery, however it looked to be mainly a casual take away joint. There were 14 burgers on the menu ranging from a regular uncomplicated cheese burger to various chicken and a vegan burger. I was tossing up between the Southern Smoke with hickory grilled beef and bacon, the chicken bacon burger or the Hero original. Some of the burgers had an option of coming in small, regular or double sizes. There were sweet potato fries, cheese fries and chilli cheese fries that were tempting.

Came here about a year ago so not sure if anything's changed since. Very cheap but the burgers were very basic and the milkshakes were too syrupy. It was fine, and from memory the staff were nice, but I don't really see why anyone would bother going to Burger Hero. If you want cheap burgers, you're probably better off going to McDonalds and if you want to pay a bit more for quality Grease Monkey is just down the road.

Burger Hero is awesome. I really don't know what else to say. It seemed a little pricey at first but we (hubby and I) thought we'd give it a shot, and I'm so glad we did. Portions are huuuuge and the burgers are full of flavour. Love their house sauce too. Oh, the chilli cheese fries live up to their name, they don't hold back on the chilli. We'll be back when in ACT, without a doubt.
