10/10 great food, Well presented with millions of flavors in every bite. Cheap and affordable for the sizes of the dish. And the quality is outstanding. Highly recommend!
Regular items on the menu are the Chicken Po’Boy $12 (top pick if you like something especially tasty in bread)…. Beef Po’ Boy $12 – a good pick if you like lean meat in bread. Soul Fries $6 – a great choice for something to nibble with a drink. And some specials which might include…
When I think of this place I think of the loaded fries. Curly fries, cheese, chives, gravy and so yummy. They were out of onion rings when I went there which look and sound amazing but the fries hit the spot
I honestly didn't mind Soul Cartel, I was in need of some artery-clogging goodness and that is exactly what I received.
The dirty fries tasted absolutely fantastic, the chef needs to keep the gravy recipe a secret because it is some of the best topping I've tasted on chips, a lot of other places would be envious of Cartel's concoction. The chips, gravy, sauce and cheese all work together beautifully to create something that truly is filling and soulful!
The onion rings were not as good as the fries, whilst the batter was crisp I found the sauces fairly generic, I actually think I have the same stuff at home.

I really enjoyed the beef brisket po boy (the Domino?). The slow cooked meat was tender, moist and so flavoursome. Wish I'd taken a cross section picture to show the generous amount of meat packed into the roll. It's supremely messy to eat with the meat juices escaping with each bite but so worth it. The only downside was the relatively long waiting time till it was ready - about 15 mins from the time of order.
Soul Cartel is a new stand at The Braddon Hamlet specialising in New Orleans cuisine. Particularly 'Po Boys' (submarine sandwiches which the working poor used to eat hence the name), i tried the chicken one which was okay-ish but then I tried the 'Domino' (the beef version which had nice briskety pieces with gravy) and it was great! You can add fries (a mix of standard and waffle fries, which are excellent) for 4 dollars more to make it a meal. They also do buffalo/bourbon wings which I haven't tried yet but I am definitely interested in! Worth a look.
Yum! That's how I describe the food at Soul Cartel. Located amongst the group of food vendors at The Hamlet, Soul Cartel offers New Orleans inspired eats. From Pho Boys to chicken wings to delicious fries. It's delicious soul food! The portion sizes are huge and it's reasonably priced.
The Thai Dinner was beautiful fresh and delicious. The experience exceeded our expectations. Highly Recommended.
Couldn't get a park at our original choice for dinner, but spotted this restaurant as we drove down the street and decided to give it a go. They were pretty busy but could fit us in. Fully licensed but very reasonable alcohol pricing. Also desert very reasonable. Almond crusted prawns as an entree was something new and delicious. Stir fry and panang curry were both good. Lovely old building with good ambience.

Gorgeous ambience. Old building with several fire places inside, near the table setting. The food was moderate, but the service was great.
I've been here a few times for takeaway and they've never failed to impress. Food is always ready right around when they say it will be and is always delicious. If you haven't tried it yet, give the red duck curry with lychee and tomato a go - it's incredible!
Lime Leaves had some of the best tasting Thai food I've had for a long time.
We were the first customers in, however by no means were we the only customers. Phone orders and takeaway was already abundant at opening time (5pm).
Inside was a well presented dining area and a bar, which was stocked with our drink of the evening: Lychee Cider. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try it as it isn't too sweet and easily enjoyed.
For our dinner we had the Red Duck Curry and Mussaman Curry with Coconut Rice. Both the meals were delicious. They had rich flavours, were beautifully presentated and we left very satisfied. For dessert we had sticky rice with Mango (my partner said it was amazing) and I had black rice pudding which was also quite nice.
We were surprised that with entree, main and dessert it only came to $100. This is more than reasonable given the quality of food and the service provided.
After our dining experience, I felt I could have been rolled home.
10/10 will roll out of Lime Leaves again.
How the rating is 4.2 is beyond me. Incidental find on Google. Was not our 1st choice but came here after our 1st option was disappointing.
Got the lunch menu. Basil fried rice and tom yum noodle were both yum.
The wait staff was kind enough to make us an iced Thai Milk Tea which is off menu and it was delicious.
Always love it ~~~ my favourite Thai restaurant
