Just perfect! That’s all what should i say. Friendly staff with an excellent service. Variety menu that’s suit all taste. Fresh and delicious food. The only drawback, they take too long to serve food after you order.

Good service, warm vibe, and almost no phone signal inside. We ordered Lamb Kabuli, Chicken Kabuli, and mix satay for iftar. It was so good! Rich amount of spices, juicy meat, and decent portion size for 5 adults. Definitely will come back.

Had never tried Afghan food and it was incredible. Got dumplings and an eggplant dish with rice. Everything was delicious, good portions and reasonably priced.

Banjane boranee eggplant $21, Kabuli Pallow rice $13, great taste and presentation, food menu is diverse and with lots of meat and vegetarian options, prices are a bit high but it’s one of a kind restaurant and that’s a damn good reason. There is Persian restaurant in Ganguhlin with similar menu but it’s too far. Bread is home made and it’s spectacular. Food portions are big and enough for 1.5-2 people

Nice restaurant for the family, a little pricy but it’s probably be because of the restaurant location and it’s the only Afghan restaurant in Canberra so no competition.Considering we are from Adelaide and expectations were very high - here is my score
We ordered,
Chicken Karahi (7/10) - Karahi was ok.
Afgha pulao (5/10 - wasn’t as good as we normally have in Adelaide Afghan restaurants)
Grilled (9/10) - very yummy
Nan (8/10 - $5 for just a nan)
3 stars are based on price, and we were expecting a very yummy Afghan Pulao.

Food tasted absolutely amazing. Portions where on the average to smaller size for the price.
Restaurant was comfortable and nice.
Waiter and service was ok. A little lacklustre overall. But the food made up for it.
Food came out in good time.
Did feel a little ripped off, as the large lunch special sign outside that brought us into the restaurant in the first place, had the “Afghan testy plate” for $22 . Sadly when we ordered and I asked for this lunch special , the waiter bluntly said lunch specials are only Monday to Friday. Which wasn’t stated on ANY(I check afterwards aswell) of the outside signs, and definitely not on the lunch special sign itself. So I paid almost $35ea which was more than I was planning on/expected.
Again, amazing food, but hesitant to go back in future due to the disparity in posted price as mentioned above.

Best kebab, kofta, chicken grilled halal food in Canberra, recommended hardly, I went 3 times this week for dinner, really very nice taste, reasonable quantity, price $$$, enjoy

After been recommended by a friend I decided to give it a go.
I ordered Mantu (LambDumplings), orange flavoured rice and Lamb Kurooti and Orange Pallow Rice.
All three were delicious beautiful blend of spices, juicy meat and the dumplings were delicious 🤤
This was my first time to try Afghani food and I’m intrigued to try more and I will dine in next time for a full experience😉.
Just one side note the portion of Lamb Kurooti was small.
