OMG you want an amazing hot Mexican food well they got it as it’s was sooo yummy & I had Quesadilla with slow cooked Beef with cheese also medium salsa verde then in the tubs had spicy chilli green sauce, Avocado salsa & white yogurt!!

Let's play find the meat in your Taco.... It's all about saving money I guess and giving you some meat... May as well use tweezers to put the meat on this... Aust. Day, and a surcharge to boot... I'm guessing that's 10% less meat as well... Location: Food court, downstairs from Myer, DJs, etc.. Canberra Civic CBD... Pathetic....

Very bad quality, very very expensive. I don't think the place has staff have experience in Mexican food, the three Taco's had very less meat, the chips in the bag had very very less chips and I don't think they were fresh. I think Mad Mex is crazy ripoff....I will not recommend going there

Good food, took a little while to be served even though there were 2 staff on duty that I could see and no one else in the store. Also, now they charge an additional 50c for beef (in nachos), but not sign posted at all?

Went there yesterday for the first time. Good to know that there are so many vegetarian options. Taste is also worth. The only problem is that quantity is less in ratio to the price, maybe because rent is high at that place. I had both quesadilla and naked burritos. Will be back as it takes very less time for food to get ready.
Please let me know when is the 1kg burrito challenge which a reviewer has mentioned below. I was not informed about that.

Quality ingredients make this burrito a tasty lunch time treat. Pictured is a 'regular' burrito (chicken, spicy salsa) at $11.50 with $2 for guacamole. The 600ml solo brought the meal to $17.50 so a bit more than average for a quick lunch time meal.
If you're up for it - Mad Mex sells beer to wash your meal down with though avoid your boss for a while on your return to work I suppose!
Having said that, Mad Mex has its own small dine in area with traditional Mexican music being piped throughout.
The staff, as others have said, tend to focus on production than service but it isn't a big issue.
Recommended - if you're not worried about spending a little bit more.
