Lachlan Court Cafe - Canberra - Photo album

This place used to be one of the best places to eat, have not been there for a while, went today and it was the absolute pits, worst yet way overpriced. Asked one of the staff and was told the place was sold a while back, used to go there and have to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get service, today more
Greasy spoon cafe where you can get basic fare like sandwiches or schnitzel on a roll. They have some limited daily hot food options. Reasonable value for money.
Food is average and the coffee is ok. Given the lack of great coffee places around barton i would have thought lachlan might make good of the opportunity. The plus from what i can remember is a large indoor seating area.
Not much range. But the schnitzel burger I just had was nice. The outdoor dining is nice when the weather co-operates and the staff clean it up.
Basic, fast food type cafe. Food is okay, premises slightly dated for anything like professional use such as bringing a visiting colleague or customer.
Great little cafe doing good prices for lunches. Sub ten dollar sandwiches and great schnitzel and burger rolls
Unpretentious lunch food for busy public servants. Plenty of seating. Clean. Quiet afternoon coffee spot.
A little expensive but efficient and a great range. Cash only is a big problem. Get with the times. Paypass is fast for small amounts.
