Just dropped in for a coffee before a meeting. Coffee was great but the service from the gentleman behind the counter was phenomenal. I did not get his name but it was the friendliest and most personable interaction I've had with someone working in hospitality for a long time. Definitely drop in if you're nearby.
Shannon and his team go out of their way for our workplace (MEJ) all the time. The quality of his food and the kindness that comes for free is always appreciated. We often need large orders at short notice and it is never too much trouble, thank you City Edge! 😊
I enjoy going to this cafe as Shannon and his team are always friendly, helpful and smiling. As a regular, they remember my name and how I have my coffee. There is a range of good food and cakes available. My favourite is their freshly baked meat pies - they are delicious and are among the best pies in Canberra.
Quick coffee here, quality roasting although the blend is not too strong. The staff are polite and friendly. The Cafe is usually busy as it is in a public service office block. The toasted rolls are very tasty and are good value.
Shannon and his team are fantastic when it comes to support when I am catering a corporate event. There are wide variety of options, which make things much easier when catering these days as people having so many food preferences. I know if there are any last minute issues, I can rely on him and his team to add extra sandwiches or utensil if I have forgotten something. I am confident when I recommend City Edge to others.
This is my go-to cafe in the city! They have THE best poached eggs here, the yolk oozes out just the perfect way, golden, rich and delicious! My favourite is the herbivore breakfast, it’s sooo yummy. Shannon and his team are awesome, love the vibe and friendly banter, wish they were open on weekends! Keep up the great work guys!
Great food and absolutely wonderful staff, always lovely and amiable. I have moved away from Canberra now and I miss my morning chai latte and the friendly service. Highly recommend.
