They cook for the Duxton next door and the food isn't too bad. I like their burgers and chips. Pretty good for pub food and take away style food. Regards @fooderarri

Delicious and generous fish and chip portions according to my husband. It's a shame they don't cater their fish and chips to my gluten free or dairy free requirements, however they are able to do gf/df pizzas and gosh they taste so good! For a minute I mistakened it for the real deal 😋 will definitely be back.

They charged me $36 for 2 burgers and a small fries, They got the take-away order completely wrong and half of the burger meat was raw, it wasn't a busy time. The Vietnamese guy down the road with English as a third language has never gotten my order wrong, charged me a third, I get twice as much food ( which is also tastier) and he gives me the order with pride and respect. If you're a dedicated foodie, who prioritises quality, I'd give this place a miss. If you want to update your Facebook with some lovely pics, have at it, as the food and location are quite photogenic. Just don't eat it.

Small place with reasonable price. The pizza (the first one in the menu) was good and the family size chips was quite generous to be consumed by 6 people. The hot chocolate was okay and it is a must to try their belgian chocochip cookies.
Overall, good place to fill emergency empty tummy.

Love the fish n chip box. I always get a decent portion and the tartare sauce is yummo. Once I'm at home with fresh bread and butter and it's the best fishnchip sandwich out there...

We don't shop here often but have noticed the quality dropping. It's not cheap and this time the fish looked and tasted just too old and pre-cooked. And the chips not a lot better. Servings are also way too big. This is the last time.

Hands down the most disappointing pizza I have eaten in Canberra. Dry and bland (the vegetarian Green Machine pizza). The worst part is that it's expensive too. Infuriating because it's essentially an expensive, gentrified takeaway shop of sub par quality at best. Maybe the non veggo stuff is better but seriously a ristorante pizza tastes better and costs a fifth of the price. At the least staff were very friendly.

So despite the name Flathead, their grilled bara is actually much better than the crumbed flathead. Found the batter a bit plain. Chips weren't too bad but could do with some light spicing. Overall it's okay, wouldn't drive out to buy from the place, but okay if you were in the vicinity
