Excellent food and service. Totally changed from old Tandoor Indian with new management and chef.

We ordered the Chicken Korma and the Punjabi Lamb with some garlic naan bread.
The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Even after driving the 15 minutes home it was still hot and extremely tasty.
The chicken fell apart when you tried to eat it and the flavours were exceptional. The lamb was spicy but just the right amount of flavours and it also fell apart at every mouth full.
Probably the best tasting take away Indian I have had so far.
Thank you.

I was very impressed with my dining experience at Indian Bay, formerly Tandoor Restaurant, when I dined in Belconnen on a Monday night.
The vegetable samosas were a delicious introduction to this restaurant’s offerings. They have changed hands recently but there is no compromise on quality.
The Nilgiri Gosht, goat meat cooked with puréed mint and cashew, was exceptional.
Although it was a quiet night with few people out they managed to cook a complete dinner for me.
I can recommend Indian Bay to you.

Came here for a work lunch, we pre booked for 12 people for the buffet.
The food provided was of poor quality. The beef was overcooked very firm. The chicken was decent.
The amount of food prepared for the 'buffet' was minimal with barely enough for half of us before needing to wait another 30 minutes to be inadequately refilled.
I would not return here.

Ordered some veggie curries and naan. Curries were very below average. The gravy was uncooked and tasted bland. Naan was the only edible thing. My friend who ordered the fish tandoori said it tasted and smelt stale. Not recommended

The worst service we have ever seen. The old guy was so rude and disrespectful. We were served uncooked kulchas which we returned and he was yelling and pulled the basket and said he will give us new ones with a very bad tone. We were served the new ones which were really burnt and not eatable. Chicken vindaloo had raw spices and was not cooked. We still left and were paying for our meal and told him politely that this was a problem. He was so unapologetic and started yelling at us. He was mean told us that do u know khuda and all.
Never go there. The restaurant is always empty and should stay like that unless they change their food and people. Extremely disappointed, incredibly awful and incompetant.

I have been coming here for 8 years. Unfortunately the service was so slow tonight I don’t know if I will go again. We were the only family there and it took 30 minutes for entree and then another hour for mains. The mains came out bit by bit with the naan coming out when the curries were nearly finished. The children had always loved the butter chicken here but tonight it was a very different taste. To top it off four of us got Diarrhoea several hours later. This is somewhere we went to 8 or more times a year. It is a shame the way it has gone.

I only got takeaway, so I can't write about the table service. The smells of the place are great … I guess that's a result of the cooking spices and the tandoor oven. The food was really nice and reasonably priced.
