Review The Coffee Club Canberra Centre - Canberra

Alireza Bahramzadeh (Ali)
I mean the food is cheap but lacking quality. Eggs are scrambled in a way that somehow tastes so bad. Smashed avo for 12-13$ is good price, but look at the photos, it’s just a small Turkish bread and some avocado on top. I know a lot of people who love coffee club food, but to me this is just low quality cheap food. I rated 2/5 because they coffee is not too bad and the customer service is acceptable.

Ordered 2 meals. Both came out cold and one came out with stuff missing. Return for one to come back still cold. One to come back with cold baked beans and a hair in it. Then to be only be refunded for 1 of the meals. I would happily give this a 0 star rating. Super off putting towards all other coffee clubs.

3 of us on a girls trip decided to have breakfast at a well known franchise. But this was the worst experience food wise I had the big breakfast bacon had been folded up and not cooked on all sides the tomato was not grilled they had put a half of a tomato on the plate I asked for it to be cooked. The tomatoes came back to the table and only the bottom was cooked still very hard. Had also eggs Benedict the eggs were hard boiled the sauce had no flavour and the bacon was cooked the same as above with all meals.coffee was cold and tasted burnt. Best thing about The Coffe Club in Canberra was the toast.

The coffee here is a little pricey and uninspired menu. Also the place isn't very cleaned.

It’s a pleasant, sunny morning and the view is arresting - I’m in the mood for Coffee Club’s iced latte.

Coffee is one of the worst, I had in my life. Please use good almod milk. Mine tasted like normal milk, dont know whats going on.

The food is good but coffee quite ordinary, I expect a lot more from a place called coffee club!

We ordered Aussie steak sandwich and Spiced chicken strips. I should say it was the worst steak sandwich we had in our life. We have never ever want to have food from Coffee Club for sure.

The most efficient cafe you can possibly find in the shopping centre! Staffs are always friendly and products are always great! Super recommend

The atomsphere is busy with chic interior. It's conveniently placed in Canberra Centre near Zara. They have awesome outdoor seating if you're looking for a view or indoor seating if you're waiting for coffee to go - convenient for those shopping for a few hours or as a meeting point. I didn't try any of the cakes but they looked average and pricey (6.90)

I ordered a soy chai to go. It took around 20 mins to come out but it was during lunch on a Sunday. I probably wouldn't recommend the drink as it was definately missing the chai component and tasted like sugar and millk but lightly fluffed.

This place is dirty, unorganized and dont care about the food they serve. We ate lunch and we we arrived all the tables were dirty. We we finally got our meals they looked like they had been slapped on the plate. The meal was overcooked and disgusting. Normally the Coffee Club is fantastic in Brisbane but obviously things are of a different standard in canberra.

even now they changed location doesn't change the bad quality of food. Their scone and desserts are very...very...bad. The scone was dry and tuff, like from a week ago. Cream is cheap and watery. Never going again.

The staff over there is really friendly, provide us with their great and fast services especially during our crazy mass shopping rush in Xmas. Food is tasty and fresh, and we really enjoy their sweet dessert with their latte. Compare with other shops I have been, I highly recommend the Coffee Club in the Canberra Centre is the one of destinations for lunch and breakfast.

Loved the clean lines & decore of this modern Coffee Club in the busy Canberra Centre. The service was also fast considering the Xmas rush & mass shopping frenzy. Coffee was a bit of a let down but they made up for that with dessert, always a great selection of sweet treats at The Coffee Club

Dirtiest place I have been in.. I had morning tea at this Coffee Club. I chose this cafe as I thought it had a good reputation and most of them do but this one was filthy. The floor was dirty and obviously had not been washed, the carpet section had not been vacuumed, the wide window sills near where we sat were disgusting. What is management doing in this cafe.?
The staff however were great as was food. Needs a health department visit I think. We had to ask for our table to be wiped clean and also had to return a plate which had obviously gone through the dish washer but still had food on it. Yes I know we should have left but due to an injury once seated it was easier to stay, but we won't be back.

Really like the place, especially the coffee there. We always go there with friends, really efficient and friendly services. The eggs benedit is my favourite dish, Yammy! Definitely will go back again!

Like it!. We had lunch with friends in the Coffee Club Canberra Centre, we ordered Salmon Stack, Fishing Chips, Chicken Salad and The Ruben, and food is very good and tasty.

Especially their coffee is wonderful, we have been several places in the Canberra Centre and nearby, and their coffee is outstanding.

Although their atmosphere is a bit small, they have very good and friendly services. Food deliver is faster than a lot of other places.

We will definitely eat there back again.

Don't waste your time and money. During early January 2014 I ate breakfast at this restaurant with another person. It was a total disaster. Placing my order was not as simple as I had hoped. I had to repeat myself three times to order bacon, eggs and tomato with toast. When I requested Worcestershire sauce the cashier did not know what it was, and replied that they did not have it. I simply gave up and paid the bill.

Once the food arrived the meal was minus the bacon. The toast was cold and the eggs rubbery. I called the service person over and explained my concerns. She had no clue what I was requesting. I broke it down into really simple English. She went back to the cashier and returned later. By this time the meal was totally cold. The service person explained that the order had no bacon included. I tried to explain that I had ordered straight from the menu and suggested all she needed to do was add some bacon. She looked at me blankly. I broke it down again. She then said I would need to pay for the bacon. More stares. By this time my breakfast partner had nearly finished his meal. I gave up and ate part of the meal and left.

Both staff were poor at expressive English and obviously had little skill in processing in English for problem-solving. Why have such people in the front line dealing with customers with such poor skill development? The food was abysmal. Coffee

Club is quite expensive. A big breakfast at CC is $22.90, where at other eateries the prices range from $17 to around $20. The customer pays a premium but the return on investment in terms of service, responsiveness and food quality is way below par.

Save your time and money and eat somewhere else.

Try a quieter Coffee Club. I visited this Coffee Club for the first time having been to ones in Brisbane and Melbourne but found the service here very average although the setting and balcony are great.I waited 30 minutes for poached eggs on toast, which were overcooked and rubbery. I could have made a better breakfast for myself at half the price.

The Cafe is located on the top floor nestled among the designer shops. The Layout is very well designed. Being modern, spacious. Light and bright, with inside and outdoor area, over looking the shops on the street below. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxing, with an excellent vibe. The menu choices are excellent, and cater for all tastes. We chose a ham filled croissant. A Chicken and bacon filo pastry, with a side salad, along with coffees. The food was tasty, and appetizing. The coffee was as good as any where else. The cafe was very busy as usual, yet we found the service was friendly yet efficient. We once again enjoyed visiting this popular franchise, which intentionally sets itself apart from food halls. A step in the right direction.
