The berry smoothie was just like a tasteless blended ice with red colour and filled only 2/3 full. I asked the man who gave me that, and he said it was meant to be like that... I accepted and thought that was fine, but after sipping it, I definitely went for a refund. It doesn't even taste comparable to the 7-11's 1 dollar ice crush... By the end, one of the staff gave me a replacement, and the replacement was what it meant to taste like, with flavour and smooth... Not an ice crush with artificial colours! What a shame...
The 1 Star was for the man's attitude and behaviour, but still appreciated the lady's post action..

Slowest service in Australia? It could well be after waiting in drive 🚗 thru for 15 minutes. No apologies from staff regarding the wait either. Can understand there's renovation going on at the moment, but can't see how this would effect cook times

Dickson McDonald is well known in Canberra, and outside of A.C.T., is the First McDonald's in Canberra. (47th McDonald's build in Australia in 1970s).
Opened their doors in 1976, happily serving Canberra's and Visitors for 45 years.
Dickson McDonald's will get her wish for her 45 birthday in 2021, a Facelift.
The Dickson McDonald there renovating should finished by October, if all goes well.
Grand opening on the 4th of December 2021, come see 👀 the New McDonald's in Dickson.
They have amazing new Playground in MacDonald's, for the children 😍 they will say WOW 👌
Going to work early in morning, come Inside or drive 🚗 through, for a Big Brekkie Burger 🍔 with cappuccino or tea 🍵 coffee ☕️.
Come in side and have a lunch 😋, Big Mac 😋 and coffee ☕️ or Muffins.

The coffee was way too hot (I used to be a barista, so I would know) and the food was slow to come out. The kid bringing out the food seemed to not make eye contact with anyone spending under $5, which is pretty rude but I found it quite humorous.
I've been here a few times and it's a pretty decent McDonald's, usually quite tidy.

This most ridiculous McDonald’s in Canberra since the renovation. In excess of 15-20 minute wait times on drive through, inconsistent levels of customer service and constantly serving flat soft drinks that taste like soda water.
In dire need of a reset.

I've ordered 4 times from this particular store and have experienced an 100% error rate. Either something is missing or the wrong item provided.
Also are they trying to save money by not giving away napkins?
I have to ask them for it at the counter each time. Put it in the bag or let people get it themselves.

Attended at about 9:45am on a Sunday, it was a quiet, raining typical ACT day. I ordered on the Self Serve machine, when it came to payment it stated “issue with pin machine, pay at counter.” I then waited 5 min for a member of staff to serve me at the counter, during this time a customer from Drive-Thru walked in stating he had waited 15 minutes in the waiting bay for a coffee.. I was then served. During the next 15 minutes of me waiting for a bacon and egg with a soft drink.. Another drive thru customer entered stating they gave her the wrong coffee. I was then provided my soft drink and told “here you go, have a great day.” I waited believing they would bring my food after to which they didnt. I then asked an employee who tried to avoid me where my food was. I then handed him my receipt and waited another couple of minutes for my food.. Definitely do not recommend this McDonalds unless service changes.. judging by previous reviews.. it has a long way to go.
