Review Ali Baba - Canberra

Worst snack pack I had in Canberra! Not even worth of $3 and I never thought chicken can be garnished for snack pack. Quality of sauce, chicken and chip was outrageous. Customer service is zero, please avoid this place to have a good day! Out of sympathy, here is my 1 star that you even don’t deserve.

Even one star is toooooo much for them! Horrible, rude, arrogant staff ! I still can't believe what happened just now today! I am going to raise my complaint to any authority who could do something about this. Just avoid these horrible retailer! First, I wanted to order a plate, the staff said they don't have rice. Then I decided to go with large falafel wrap. I selected my sauce and salads (it took him some time to find sauce, and the salad I asked for was obviously much less than the amount he used for the customers after me, but that is not yet the issue for complaint) while he handed the remaining to the other staff (an Asian-looking boy wearing glasses) he started serving the next customer (ok so far) I noticed the other guy put my order - which at this stage was just the bread with lettuce and tomato over it through the heating machine (!!!) then both staff started serving the other customer who was after me, who was ordering meat-type kebab. Then both kept chit-chatting with the couple while preparing their order. When that boy with glasses putting their order through warming-up machine, I noticed he put my order through the machine for another two rounds, which was still only lettuce and tomato !!! The couple asked for something else and I noticed the guy wrapped another bread with just lettuce for them and handed it to them while keeping chit-chatting. At this time I asked the boy when my order is being ready? he said he is waiting for falafel to be ready, then he put my order (still lettuce and tomato over bread) again through the warm-up machine !!! As these boys kept chit-chatting with the couple, my order was jammed with their meat wrap a couple of times through the machine ! Finally they finished chit-chatting with the couple, prepared their order and then they wrapped my order and handed it to me, it was when I complained why they were ignoring me and heating up 'lettuce' (horrible, it was cooking lettuce, yak) several times the guy arrogantly shred his shoulder and turned his back !!! he did not even bother to say sorry that my order was late! This behaviour from the boys are not acceptable at all, they think job in a retail and in a food sector is whatever they want to do and customers are voiceless and can't do anything because 'the Westfield Belconnen is always full of customers, who cares if one person is not happy' - Of course I will never buy anything from them again, but I do everything I can to raise this complaint. I contacted center retail manager, who was busy at the time and called me later and politely and very nicely said he is sorry for that, but he can't do anything about the complaint. I am going to complain through Alibaba Kebab too - and I will never ever buy from them again.

Extremely stingy with ingredients and tastes weird. Not like I remember. Must be new owners. Terrible discredit to the Ali Baba company.

Not upto standard. Small portions compared to other ALIBABAS. Super disappointed!

It's alright, if you're after Turkish food in Belconnen mall and don't feel like going to neighbouring Turkish / Halal food This is good. Meat can be a tad rough sometimes. The Ali Baba though near Lake G I find to be a bit better.

Eatable but very small portion, not generous with vegetable.

Not good! Chips arrived 10 mins after my falafel. 2 tiny Falafel in wrap which was dry mostly consist of wrap not much ingredient. Also doesn’t seem hygienic to take money and make food with same hands. Also a bit surprised to see them using adli sauces.
