I've been to this restaurant many times over the years since it has been open. The service has always been below average even for the area - don't expect anyone to greet you and show you to a table. The pho itself tastes pretty good but not spectacular, the serving size and price are good, but the restaurant could be a little cleaner overall. I would still recommend this restaurant and regularly visit myself for their pho and pasta bo luc lac (diced beef cubes).
Don't forget to take advantage of their pho loyalty cards. Every 10th pho is free!
My Always go to spot for dinner, their Stir fry crispy noodles are off tab, i always get it with beef which taste amazing. and i love their durian shake...not many people can handle durian but i can so i really enjoy it. Spring rolls here are pretty good too.

The food was so beautiful the presentation was amazing the staff were so friendly and they have very quick service I recommend for all family’s
As a regular customer I can say thy pho hien is:
Family friendly, easy to read menu with pictures, prices are cheap and always a generous portion. Staff have always been friendly and also are happy to do split bills. Service is generally pretty quick and they are always ready to cater for large groups of people. Bathroom cleanliness is abit of a concern. Maybe wait until you get home or use one before you get there otherwise a great experience there every time.
On a hot summer day we decided to walk down Canley vale road and eat at the first restaurant that had air conditioning. Surprisingly, it did take a while but we ended up at Pho Hien. Prices at Pho Hien are standard for a Vietnamese restaurant.
Tonight we ordered the marinated chicken with rice, congee with steamed chicken salad and a jackfruit, and lemon shake.
The marinated chicken was quite tasty, although, a little too peppery. Jackfruit shake seemed a bit too diluted with water.
The congee was standard. Chicken salad also not too bad.
Overall, decent food for a decent price.
You gotta have a favourite go-to Vietnamese restaurant and this is mine. This place is legit.
I pretty much nearly always get the bún bò Huế when I go here. It's because the flavours aren't as overly intense compared to most other places that do this spicy beef noodles dish. It's just enough to still maintain the distinctive aromas of bún bò Huế but not too much so that it starts to feel sickening.
The thing with a lot of Vietnamese restaurants these days is they overplay the seasoning and flavouring process which ruins most dishes for me. I like that everything here is well balanced, though I'm guessing some people may say it's bland or not enough if their palette swings that way.
The phở is quite good. Other dishes I'd recommend are the crispy combination noodle, crispy skin chicken with noodles in broth and combination broken rice.
I say, give it a go! You won't regret it! You'll get more than what you pay for.
A favourite local vietnamese eatery. Great pho, top service and with a coconut juice, che or avocado shake on the side, its hard to fault. Pho hiennnggggg
Well you got to pick a favourite so this is mine. I like this place as it gives you more for less, complimentary tea and a little soup with your meal while newer places will charge you for this. I'm not really a pho eater but there broken rice combination is one of the best I've had. The jackfruit shake is so nice i could drink it again and again,I've tried it at some other places recently and its either watered down or taste strange. Food comes out quick and prices are reasonable and the decor has been update so at least it looks a little modern! Highly recommended
This place is the bomb. Perfectly cooked authentic Vietnamese dishes at reasonable prices. You can't go wrong with the Pho and banh canh here. To top it all off, the main waiter is a funny guy and has always been extremely hospitable.
Casual lunch with my family at Pho Hien. The fried noodle dish is so much better than superdishes!
Authentic Vietnamese. Great place in Canley Vale, with really flavoursome, aromatic, authentic pho - the other main dishes are also delicious. The service is better than other Vietnamese restaurants I have been to before as they are not rude, and the waitress is very friendly. Highly recommended as they are able to cater for small to large sized groups.
Great Vietnamese!. This is one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Canley Heights. The food (and particularly the Pho) is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The ambience is not the greatest, but if you can look past that and just enjoy your food, you will definitely leave happy. Prices are very reasonable, and the food is always served very quickly.
Love the pho here. Was charged .50c for a glass of tap water. Not sure about Vietnam but pretty sure it's illegal in this country? Also beware as you will leave smelling of fish sauce.
Great Vietnamese food, though the service can be a bit better.
The best Rare beef rice noodle soup in town. When you buy 5 bowls you get the 6th bowl free with the customer loyalty card . Vietnamese tea served upon arrival as a complimentary greeting while you take a look at the menu. Ive tried all the restaurants on the street and found Pho Hien Restaurant the best
Loved it. Super yummy, clean and really friendly service.
Food is fresh. Price is reasonable. Service was acceptable. Would definitely return.
