I recently had my birthday catered by Cairo cafe and everything was perfect! Mohammed and his staff came to the venue, set up all the Bain-Maries ahead of time, then came again with all the warm food just before the event started, and then came and collected everything at the agreed time at the end of the night! Extremely profession and all staff are lovely people! And the food was AMAZING! Especially the charcoal chicken with their special sauce, literally the best charcoal chicken I've had ever! Everything was very reasonably priced, especially for the quantities given! Mohammed is very reliable to contact and always got back to me when I had any queries! I had about 80 people at my party, and he catered perfectly for that! Will def be using Cairo Cafe again in the future and highly recommend to everyone I know! Delicious food �� thank you for making my event perfect, even raved about the food!

Amazing falafels and fried eggplant. We had the veg platter which we loved. Great place to visit with family.

Gr8 middle eastern style food. Very authentic. This place attracts lots of middle eastern ppl - and the staff are Egyptian. I've just about tried everything on the menu now - and it is all excellent.
If I had been given the choice to, in this review I would of given a vote 4.5. I have been to middle eastern restaurants that are slightly better (ie Prophet in East Vic Park).
Staff are helpful and friendly - value is good.
The only downside I've found is the noise. Particularly on weekend evenings. The unfortunate layout of the place make all noise amplify - and tis like being in a noisy pub when trying to hold a conversation. Also the place gets very packed on weekend evenings.
To avoid the noise aspect don't go on weekend evenings!!

One of my favourite places to eat, won't find any better middle eastern food in Perth. Great food, food prices and massive serves. Have tried most things on the menu now and they never dissapoint! :-)
Chicken Shawarma with a side of pickle salad...reminded me of what we used to get back in Oman! Great value and authentic taste. Highly recommend!
Not too bad of a spot if they stick to the dishes/items they know well (kabab & platters). As soon as they try pizza & salad etc. It's a fail.
Platters are decent potions and tastes good. Prices are reasonable and area is quite to have a seat & enjoy the meal.
If you are after a late night kabab around Canning Vale area - this is a good place to visit.
So glad this place opened near us. Tried the mixed platter and chicken shawrma. Meats were beautifully marinated and succulent. We are also fans of the hummus and garlic dip that came with. Will be returning again, hungry for more!

A casual cafe with takeaway available, the staff are friendly and hospitable. There's lots to choose from on the menu and we selected a number of dishes to share amongst ourselves:
Veg Platter - falafel, stuffed vine leaves, fried eggplant, pita bread, hommus, tahini - really delicious offering, the falafel is nice and crunchy with a soft parsley centre, the stuffed vine leaves are tasty, the fried eggplant is lovely and I liked the hommus and tahini with the pita bread. The salad is also refreshing.
Gourmet Mixed Platter - prawn, chicken, lamb, kofta. Best way to get to try each of the skewered meats. All were flavoursome, tender and delicious. I really liked the rice that comes with the dish (choice of rice or chips).
Lamb Shawrma - got the chips with this one which were tasty. The lamb is flavoursome but was a tad dry but still enjoyable.
Quarter Charcoal Chicken - not sure what they put in the marinade but the chicken is really moist and tender and the marinade adds additional flavour.
Certainly full and too much food to eat so we asked for takeaway containers to take the rest away.
I also eyed the dessert cabinet which has a range of items. I got one each of the baclava varieties, a slice of cheesecake and a cannoli. The desserts which I took home and ate later were delicious.
We also were offered mint tea which was very refreshing and had a lovely mild flavour.
Great value, delicious food, lovely staff, certainly happy to make a return visit. Recommend
Great Kebabs, best I have ever had, good value for money and the place is always busy so that must say something. The kebabs are not at all greasy, they are instead light and the wrap they use is delicious. It's a good quick and easy dinner that doesn't feel at all unhealthy for take away.

Nice little cafe with a bit of everything on the menu - with a middle eastern/Egyptian focus.
Everything a kebab joint would have on the menu (kebabs, chips, burgers), middle east cafe staples (dips, falafel, fatoush, shwarma etc) and a selection of "Mom's cooking" - less well-known, but presumably delicious, traditional Egyptian dishes.
A couple of our table's orders got lost, but the staff rectified the situation immediately and sent baklava to the table as an apology. (Pro tip- apology pastries are almost always effective!)
Not bad. Had the Falafel Kebab which was quite nice. Others had kebabs too and enjoyed it and one of our table had the Lahm Shisk Platter which looked huge and she also enjoyed it. Prices are very reasonable too.
Ordered ahead by phone then drove by to pick it up. Service was friendly, and the food was ready when I arrived. We ordered the veg platter, okra (without meat), ful and baba ganoush. Pleasantly surprised to find two types of pilaf rice in the bag as well as the flatbreads promised. The food was delicious - the okra and ful were very tasty, and the baba ganoush had a lovely deep, smoky aroma. The veg platter was a little more hit and miss. I really enjoyed the stuffed vine leaves and the salad but the fried eggplant was a little greasy and the falafel a tad dry - though pleasant enough when eaten together with the baba ganoush. Will definitely be back.
Very nice and clean food have been again and has improved love the dips and mashawi keep up the good work. Also very good customer service..
Just what Canning Vale needed! I ordered takeaway for my family, the lamb shish platter and whole charcoal chicken with chips. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food they packed. The lamb was a little overcooked but full flavours in the rice and salad and the hummus was a winner! I absolutely loved the yogurt that went with the rice, it appeared home made. The charcoal chicken was a little on the dry side, but once again full of flavour. I can't wait till they start the home delivery service because it would become our weekly!
Finally something with flavour comes to Canning Vale!
The restaurant is impeccably clean. The staff are attentive and friendly. The food is really fresh and tasty. The portions are huge and well priced. Lastly. .. the garlic sauce is heavenly goodness. My taste buds are thrilled.
I can see this wonderful place becoming a regular for my family.
I went today for lunch. I ordered mix grilled plate(can't remember the exact name) but my first impression is a new place, friendly stuff, super delicious food. Good coffee (I chose flat white). Yes and when it comes to the price, the cheapest in Perth!
