Review Tea Garden - Canning Vale

Sumit Arora
Great spot for some very good Malay food. Satay were a bit of let down, not charred properly but satay sauce was really good.

Nasi lemak with fried chicken was arguably the best around this area with well balanced flavours. Rice was aromatic like proper Nasi lemak should. Cantonese stir fried noodles was delicious, wok hei didn't disappoint. A bit disappointed with the mui fan, gravy was bland, rice could be more fluffy. Teh Tarik was awesome. I'm Singaporean. Definitely will be back.

Found a large piece of aluminium foil in my Nasi Lemak. Food safety issue needs to be addressed. Are the food handlers properly trained and are aware of the importance of food safety.

Good service in a rush hour time. I saw one of the staffs accidentally spelt a bit of gravy on to a customer's feet while trying to put the dish on the table. She was very sorry and immediately knelt down and wiped the customer's feet with some tissues. Although the customer did not mind at all the incident and was trying his best to avoid the staffs good intention, made the staff stood up, she was really sorry. I saw that myself as I was sitting on the table next to theirs. I feel a bit touched to see an elderly staff trying to do that to a customer. As an Asian I see her like my own mother in that age. Really salute the staff good intention and the great forgiving heart of that male customer. Good people are still around for sure. Food wise, IT WAS EXCELLENT. I ordered Char Kway Teow with chicken. Full of wok hei flavour and generous chunks of chicken thigh fillets. Perfect balance of flavour with that dark soya sauce. The Hainanese milk tea was undoubtedly good. Definitely one of the best in Perth.

Very authentic Malaysian cuisine with a great menu, a lot to choose from, been there a few times, always good.

Wow first time trying this place for my lunch. The food was nice and loads of selections even for vegans. With the average price the portion was unexpectedly more than what I was expecting.Had a very full lunch.recommended for those who want to eat Malaysian food for lunch. Also the customer service is nice 👍🏻 the staff is very friendly

Amazing food, portion size and $$. Staff were friendly and good range of food choices. But would recommend to book cause it does get busy. Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely not returning again. We ordered the 'roti bakar' with half boiled eggs. When roti bakar is served, obviously is not toasted enough. We also ordered turnip cake as shown in the photo, It's bland sweet without any other taste. Lots of eggs with little amount of turnip cake at the price of $9.50. As shown in the photo, they are served on a plate that has breaks. Most importantly, turnip cake aren't taste like that, is the most disappointing turnip cake I 've had! Don't just simply use the name if you can't cook properly.

This is our favourite spot for Teh Tarik. The Teh Tarik sustained me through a very difficult pregnancy. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The service is quick. The food is excellent. The Teh Tarik is the best. I have to have one cup of Teh Tarik at least once a week. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

The food was ok...... nothing really to write home about, especially the fried egg rice, which was dry and tasteless. My cheese baked rice was full of chicken and the sauce was tasty, of which there wasn't much. Overall, not a bad place to eat..... but nothing spectacular either.

I haven't had Malay food in so long and it was nice to taste those familiar flavours again. The rojak is a must try! I found the service to be quite good but they need a louder bell because sometimes the waitress couldn't hear when the food was ready
Sandra Bevacqua
We were served RAW chicken satay skewers and I mean raw, it was sickening. My poor daughter spat it out and was almost sick. I will never eat from this place again.
Juliet Walker
Good Asian tucker, in a very casual setting, well priced meals, probably need to go with someone who knows what to order as this is a very authentic hawker style restaurant
Bill Adams
Visited there three times and each time in spite of many tempting other dishes couldn't convince myself to go past the very authentic Mee Siam which is as good as any I've enjoyed while living in Singapore for 11 years. The service was prompt and very friendly.
Raymond Kwek
Great rendang and curry...5th visit already n never disappoint...
Mandy White
Really nice satay sticks and tasty beef curry, will be back

Came across this place this evening while at Market City looking for an ATM. Great priced authentic Malaysian food with friendly service. Will be back again soon.
Alison Tan
Disgusting attitude and service. Waited 1 hour with not one single item from our order arriving. Worst part was when informed the manager she was not apologetic at all. I will not return there again
Felicia Lee
Second visit, still loved the food especially the rojak. Dessert still a miss. Would be perfect if dessert is as good as the main. Chendol green jelly was frozen not soft & love more gula.

Authentic Malaysian food. I love the nyonya mee siam... very delicious! way to go ! Congrats on your opening in Australia!

Lovely cheese chicken rice but can be made at home quite easily. The fish wing laksa was so boring and bland!! The rice noodles in laksa were so overcooked. There needed to be veggies or something, it lacked so much. Also $5.50 for a lemongrass drink with half a glass full of ice is not acceptable.
I got my meal but my partner had to wait another 20min till his meal even arrived!! Basic restaurant stuff guys!! Get your shite together

I went here with my friend for brunch. I ordered tofu, it was nice. My friends ordered porridge and cakue. All good. The staffs are friendly and helpful
Kraken
Went on a Saturday morning around 10am and it was packed. Ordered mee siam, carrot cake and chee cheong fun. The service was slow - probably due to the crowd. It took 10 mins for us to get a honey lemon drink. Carrot cake was less than average. Too much radish cake, not enough egg. Chee cheong fun with sweet sauce was slightly too sweet. Mee siam was good though - authentic like the ones in Asia.

One of the best places for Malaysian food south of the river. With their prices being very reasonable for their portion sizes, the flavours for each dish are very authentic and are not 'whitewashed' at all. Their Nasi Lemak and Cheese baked rices are their highlights for me.
Noel
I ordered a Nasi Lemak for takeaway and they did not put ikan bilis nor peanuts in it. How can a nasi lemak come without them? Quite disappointed
Finleyhimawan
What a gem! Where should I start... This place offers street food style Malaysian food and most of the food that I’ve tried so far is quite authentic so I’m truly happy finding this place. I have to say we’ve now came back a few times, so far we’ve tried Chee Chiong fun, congee, fish fillet mee hoon soup, curry fish wing noodle, Mui fan, mee rebus, char kway and mushroom glutinous rice. Our favourite which we’ve came back for must be the curry fish wing, mui fan (fried rice with chicken and egg sauce), their congee and mushroom glutinous rice. They’re quite authentically close to what you get in Malaysia. Really yummy indeed!
Rnanda83
I ordered roti chenai for takeaway and when I got home I saw they gave me bloody frozen rotis, the one we get from Chinese stores not freshly cooked rotis! So I basically paid $8 from 2 frozen rotis, thats jus rediculous! And when I called they argued that it was freshly cooked ..

My husband raves about the porridge and will go out of his way to travel all the way to get it, even in heavy rain and traffic. All dishes I've tried the few times I've been there have been delicious and the service is wonderful too. Very accommodating especially with 2 babies and a toddler in tow. Been there for dinners only.

Interior is a little tired, but the food nd the pull tea is good. Reasonably priced. I used to visit the Malaysia branch a lot when I was back in Malaysia, the food stndard hasn't drop too much.
OnePointFive
First time trying Tea Garden, the food were not bad. I enjoyed my Curry Laksa, Hubby said his Mee Rebus was ok, my daughter seemed to like her simple Kampoeng Fried Noodle. Service could be better, but no drama. A lot of people said their food are expensive, but I found it reasonable.
Vee Kee
I enjoyed the food. Big portion as well. The Thai style chicken chop with fried rice is good. The chicken is freshly fried, I think. The menu looks interesting as well. I will be back.
Nazira Ziyana
My go-to everytime i’m craving for some Chinese-Malaysian dishes !! The foods feel like home. On point ! My favourite? Definitely fried carrot cake, porridge, and rice dishes. Seriously all are good you will not regret coming.
Eunice
It does feel a little bit like Paparich here! Good option for lunch and dinner if you’re around Canning Vale area. To me most of their food is spicy, so I would just normally go for Kong po chicken rice for lunch. Apparently if you can take spicy, I would recommend their nasi lemak. Average Malaysian food, so if you’re not picky, can give it a go :)
Deland Van Wieringen
Bad services, They got my food order, however missed my wife order. We were the only customers in the restaurant. Very, very disappointed. ' WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN"

Ambience: bright place, Malaysian coffee shop style set up.
Cleanliness: floor looks dirty, dirty cutlery piling up on a bench against the wall in the dining area.
Service: no smile, greetings or eye contact. Rude when enquiring how to order. An order sheet with pencil provided.
Taste/Variety: menu looks impressive but food a lot to be desired. Ordered- nasi lemak hard boiled egg was tough n chewy, rice without flavour. Char kway tiow was ok. Beef brisket small serve taste reasonable. Satay chicken n beef was tough . Assam laksa tasteless, gravy poor taste, better buying ready made gravy n cook ourselves. Chendol was marshy, tasteless n lack of gula Melaka. Overall very pricey too. We were there at lunchtime hardly busy!
Sharky
Decor ok and menu looks impressive given small kitchen brigade, 4.2/5 in Google review, wow have to try right
Rojak a complete mess, tumeric to flavour? Omg.
Ingredients for this salad totally out of tune.Plz refer to cookbooks if unsure, tats my advice
Char kway teow looks sadden n tired, if you want a impressive one go to Cambridge St Malaysian in Wembley Food Court, then you know what I mean
Nasi Lemak lacks flavour n all short cut method to prepare. Paparich a better alternative.
In today's competitive market, I won't be back as $36 for these items without drink, I can get better food elsewhere.

A great little Restaurant located in Canningvale. Really yummy Malaysian food with some different choices such as Fish wing curry and Cheesy baked rice. Also possibly the best chicken wings in Perth. It's hard to get a table sometimes. I really recommend this place.
LittleAsianGirl
Visited this place the other day. We had the mee siam, mee goreng mamak, Thai style tofu and roti bakar with butter and sugar. Very impressed witht he mee goreng. Love how it had the burnt/charred wok taste. The Thai style tofu was tasty. The roti bakar reminded me of Malaysia and Singapore. The mee siam was very tasty, the closest I have had that could compare to the ones in Malaysia/Singapore. However after a few mouthfuls, felt very thirsty. Seemed like they had put a lot of msg in it. I also ordered the teh tarik. I asked for it to be stronger and it was yum. Would come back to try some other dishes.

We had Brunch, we order the beef brisket noodle, the Ipoh Noodle and the Mee Siam.
Reason I rate this low was the Beef Brisket was tasteless and the noodle were terrible, was not cooked properly. So was the Ipoh Noodle it DOES Not look like the picture on the Menu, noodle was in small
strip and the chicken was bland. We have eaten there a few times but after yesterday, we won't be back again

The food is okay reasonable price but the service is very BAD! The waitress has no smile at all, and was abit rude too. I've been to this restaurant quite a few times and I really don't like the service. No greeting or help us to get a table ready. I can understand if it was busy but unfortunately it wasn't. They were just standing there watching us.
Micheal Denial
The food weren't too bad. There are plenties of choices in menu. However the customer service is very bad. When I am saying service... there are 2 parts. 1 the service is very slow. My mum and my uncle waited nearly 40 minutes and I had to waited for about 25 minutes for one dish as we went seperately. I asked for cut chilli and waited for another 10 minutes and altogether 35 minutes to eat my dish.
2. The way they treated to the customer wasn't good. The waiter ,the middle age chinese lady, is arogant and not friendly at all. No smiles on her face. I just ask her.. I order the dish and it took nearly about 30 minutes. She doesn't understand what is the customer service is. She response hostilely like enemies it hasn't been 30 minutes yet and she knows the time of order blah blah blah.. l and she repeated twice. I just asked her once and she argueed me twice. Come on..customers are not their enamies . She should understand customer is always right because if they gave good service . the customer will come again and again and even spread the news how good their food are., how nice the people are .. I would be happy if she responsed like that sorry for the inconvenience and it won't be long. etc. She should understand customers are giving u feedback means customers want your service improved and they still want to come and consume your food.

Visited Tea Garden for my Nasi Lemak fix. It wasn't bad. I've definitely had much worst. This place reminds me of Paparich. The drinks is a bit sweet so I recommend that you ask for less sugar.
Jakethebestyeo
I brought my family members there last weekend. Food was not too bad but I have better food than these. Ordered kiew teow, Nasi lemak and curry mee. Nasi lemak rice a little on the soft side and not enough lemak. Kiew teow and curry mee not too bad and it's acceptable. Place is clean and busy. Will consider bringing friends.
Ilovefoodyummyyummy
Went to tea garden also because this place was recommended by a friend. Tried their Nasi Lemak. Acceptable, at least better than Sedap in Victoria Park. When we were there the place wasn't very pack so the wait wasn't long. Environment not too bad, staff not very friendly, food ok. Might come back and try others if I can get a better feedback from others.
Bite Into It
Upon our arrival at this joint, we received no greetings or please wait or any kind of service. We had to go ask the staff if we can grab a table. So that was a big let down. Understand that it can be busy at times but you have to acknowledge your customers otherwise they are going to walk out.

The menu has a lot of great range of food and at decent prices. Pity i don't think i would want to come back here again. I ordered a soy chicken rice and the chicken was absolutely dry and tasteless to be honest, I can do better myself! My partner had some kind of curry dish which tasted sweet and nothing like curry!!! What a bummer!!

Been to many Malaysian cuisine restaurants, still none beats Tea Garden. Love all the dishes, especially their char kwey tiaow, curry chicken, mee rebus, chendol and nyona mee siam. Tea was extremely good, the taste and aroma of it, was irresistible and i have to drink at least 4 times a week! Very clean and pleasant restaurant. Arguably the cheapest and "worth the money" restaurant in Perth.

And so... we put on our adventurous hat and hit the new joint in Canning Vale. Verdict: worth going and will try more items on the menu!

The spot has now changed about 4 different owners, and I hope Tea Garden is there to stay by maintaining or improving their service and products. It is clean, spacious, and has cozy outdoor seating. I hope though, by winter they will install covers and heaters!

We walked in greeted by a clear sign that says "No BYO," "No pork," "No lard," and a friendly hostess that ushered us to our table. The menu was there already and we wrote down our order.

Pricewise? Just right for the area. Choices are plenty, from Kaya toast to nasi lemak to carrot cake to sate etc. You got the picture! Halal, Chinese Malaysian restaurant we found! And plenty of spicy dishes too!

Our order came out rather quickly. My brave 9 yr old finished three quarter of his Yang Chow fried rice, while I savoured the Rojak Tofu. Love their Lemongrass Jasmine Tea!

I'd give Tea Garden another go to sample the rest of the items on their menu. Next up, my usual fried Kwee Tiaw test!
Live To Eat
Value for money and good honest tasting food this has.
Service is the letdown. The young girl that is serving is one of the most obnoxious and arrogant little pain in the bum I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Someone should 1) sack her or 2) give her an injection of personality fit for the hospitality industry. A cow would have given better Customer service. Thank God the young guy there is actually a very nice gentlemanly server.

So, let's get on with the food review.

Tea garden is no kidding one of our favourite restaurants to go to (with the exception of the little PITA waitress). Their prices are cheaper than Papa Rich and their selection plentiful.

One of the dishes we order constantly is the Nasi Lemak, Mee Rebus, Cassava, their extensive Kopis to name a few.

Nasi Lemak whilst simple is a dish best mixed. Their rice is aromatic fragrant and the simple fish, cucumber, acar and nuts when mixed together with the coconut rice is like a party in every mouthful. It just proved that you don't have to make it confusing to make it nice. Well done there!

Mee Rebus is sometimes a touch and go affair. Whilst the noodle is decent, the sauce is often not consistent. Don't get me wrong, this is still good mee Rebus for Perth, but definitely could be better.

So, Cassava is always a good way to end, sweet cassava with sweet sauce and soft, moist and tender. This is brilliant dessert.

Now, kopi selections is very good. Their kopi with condensed milk always hit the spot. Strong coffee flavour, well roasted and the condensed milk add that little bit of sweet kick.

So concluding it all, sack the cow. Replace her with someone who has a personality fit for the industry and this will easily be a 3.5 to 4 starer.

Menu very authentic Malaysian / Singaporen food.
Friendly service. Reasonable price and portion.
Mamak Rojak $9.80 was tasty.
Cendol $5.50 was average nothing special.
Take away curry Lamb with rice $12.50 and Nyonya Sambal Squid $13.80
Came out for lunch with my friend. We ordered curry fish wings and baked herbal chicken. Both are tasty, I especially like the herbal chicken. Will certainly come back again.
Chris Lee
Curry from instant mix, chee cheong fun nothing that special. My wife order one of the noodles and its not fit for human consumption. Lets see how long they will last this time. Hopefully longer than the last 2.
Colin Barboutis
Without doubt one of the best Malay restaurants in perth for flavour.
I have eaten all over the world and rate this food up there with the best at this price point , do yourself a favour and try , you won't be disappointed.
Tay Chieh Hui
Been there a few times, tried a few of their dishes. There are some that are tasty and there are some i would give it a miss. Nasi Lemak is fine but the sambal is not that spicy enough but the taste is there. Fried carrot cake u can give it a miss too expensive and there are not enough wok power in it. Pricing is quite fair is some dishes.

Overall rating it is average.. 2.9 to 3. Any higher is over rated.
Andrew Freeman
Not sure about the couple of bad reviews on here. I've been here over 10 times and it's always been exceptional. Slowly working my way through the menu. A must if you are in the area.
Elaine Tan
I have been here several times now and I enjoy coming here. The restaurant cafe is nice and clean, toilet is clean and I think the service is efficient.
I always have an ice teh terik with my meal. Food is pretty decent for the price although I thought the portions are a bit on the smaller side.
Jojostar
Super love their curry Chee cheong fun and rotibakar. I ordered their beef brisket rice that comes with a small bowl of soup. While the beef is tender and nice, the soup totally spoil it. It bland and tasted a little weird to my liking. Personal preference I guess
Sean Yeoh
Awesome Curry Laksa, will definitely come back and as a plus its 5 minutes from my house. Sorry malaysian delights, I've finally found a better Laksa than the one on your menu

Been there once cuz parents like it, was not very busy on a weekday night, staff are friendly and food was okay, very enjoyed the dinner there, will be back for sure!
Sarah
pretty good food & good prices to me! service was very attentive as well. They even have breakfast specials in the morning for $9.80 (1 meal + 1 drink) which was pretty good for an early lunch!
Spk
Second time back at this joint, not as crowded this time since it was a weekday and rather late for lunch. What I like about this place is that they are open for practically 12 hours (9am-9:30pm) and don't close in the afternoon. Sometimes you just need food after 2:30pm and it's hard if you're in the burbs in Perth. We shared some satays to start and got a mee goreng and a dry mee siam with chicken curry. I was also quite excited about the cassava dessert when I saw it on the menu. The satays were flavoursome but lacked the charcoal flavour you look for in a good satay. The noodles were delicious, nothing to fault there. The cassava was softer and mushier than expected - I was expecting it to taste like the chewy version you find at authentic Thai restaurants. Still, the food is yummy and it's nice to see a restaurant with authenticity in that spot at the CV markets where traditionally, the restaurants have been mediocre.
Pandalora
Dishes we chose were spicy and enjoyable. Big portions and very reasonably priced. Seating spacious and although very busy was not that noisy. Seems to be very popular as there is waiting time before being seated. Staff very efficient.
FreeEagle
It's a great place serving authentic Malaysia food with selections similar to Paparich. We have ordered the following and would score these out of 10. Mee Rebus (7-nothing special), Ipoh Hor Fun Soup (8.5-very smooth noodles), Singapore Fried Mee Hoon (9), Baked Herbal Chicken (9.5-great herbal flavour.. an unique dish), Hainanese Teh Tarik (8.5), Teh Tarik (7.5), Soya Milk (9). Serving size is a little small but with consideration of the price (I.e. $8 for Mee Rebus, $11.8 for Ipoh Hor Fun Soup), I think it's quite reasonable. I would rather come here if planning to go to Paparich.
Dezacra
I've watched this restaurant change at least 3 times over the years and decided to give the new restaurant a go. We managed to get a table straight away, it was just after 1pm so it was still quite packed. The decor reminded me of the kopitiams in Malaysia but that was pretty much it for it authenticity.

The ordering system is like pappa rich where you look through the menu and write down the numbers associated to each food item. The service was pretty quick and the wait staff was very friendly.

We decided to try a little bit of everything and ordered our favourite dishes, roti canai, rojak and teh tarik as well as fish head laksa and hor fun. All I can say was that I'm disappointed in terms of authenticity.

Best dish: fish head laksa. Totally loved the curry sauce, plenty of flavour and pretty much drank the whole soup. Wished they had put the fried fish to one side to it could stay crispy but the fish was moist and yum.

Worst dish: roti. It seemed baked and tasted very flakey (in a bad way) and dry and cakey. The curry it pretty good though, should definitely try the curry.

The Hor fun was nice but is a bit exy for the amount you get and seemed pretty stingy with the seafood and veggies. Rojak didn't taste like any rojak I had in Malaysia.. Most off putting was the sauce.. Tasted like a diluted peanut sauce.

Overall, I think the food is ok but they're just a bit stingy with the condiments and the dish sizes vs the price. Would go to try it again but definitely wouldn't order any of the above dishes again - except the fish head laksa!!

Food are not hot.
Food quality is so so.
Not value for money.
Service sucks

Overall 1 out 10.

Won't be back for sure........................

Saturday, lunch time - the restaurant was quite quiet today. About 5 tables were filled. We had the cendol & hainanese milk tea drinks (not wow but not bad), the nasi lemak (chicken wing & beef rendang - both are quite average in taste and presentation but the sambal chilli is definitely better than pappa rich's).
Marie
So happy to find another authentic Malaysian food restaurant that serves dishes that closely mimics the local food in Malaysia. We tried the Rojak and Chee Cheong Fun which was really yum. Will be back to try the other dishes.
Meng Li
Shocking! Waited nearly an hour for the food, and the fried chicken was raw inside. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are many ppl waiting during lunch time, I really don't know why. Maybe because everyone has to wait for long time for the food lol.
Eat For Living
2nd visit. Food is improving but still much adjustment to go to be real authentic. Rojak mamak is a must try. The Mee rebus is flat and tasteless. Nasi lemak is a great improvement but not a popping champagne stage yet. Service is absolutely pathetic. Waitresses are not responsive and order taking are slacking.
Foodie_addictee
We accidentally stumbled upon this place. Past 1pm and we were hungry so thought "let's give it a try". There was long queue outside and we had to put our number to be called in for a table, was told approx waiting time around 30-40 mins. About 30 mins later, we got the call that the table is available for us. Sat down and had a look at the menu, first impression remind me of a particular restaurant we have around Perth, similar style of food & Deco.
So what we ordered: Curry Laksa, Stir fry radish cake (Chay Tao Kwe) and deep fried squid tentacles. Laksa taste pretty good but lukewarm Laksa, not good. Similarly with the radish, came out not piping hot. Squid wasn't greasy but dry. Ran out their homemade Soy Bean Pudding so ordered their homemade soy milk instead, that was good. Overall food wasn't too bad but it wasn't great either as we were really thirsty afterwards, the culprit MSG.
Sorry Tea Garden, unless you improve, we won't be going back.
Perth Foodie
Had the curry lakaa. Chicken and prawn were over cooked which tasted like rubber.
They used too much coconut milk which made me feel ill after the meal.
The Nasi lemak rice was well flavoured but chicken drumstick was tasteless not seasoned well. Not enough sambal provided, but acar was nice.

Service was good but food isn't worth coming for.
Laksa wasn't worth $12++
A piece of chicken for the Nasi lemak was $3. That's pretty expensive.

Isit worth coming back? No. There's better options outside.
Jasmine
Curry Laksa with Fish belly/wings (as per menu) but received my Laksa full of bony fish heads, no meat but just bone and eye balls. We ordered 2 Laksa and had 4 pieces of large fish eye balls and the rest was just bones no wing or belly part of the fish. Was disgusted, asked where are the wings and was told it's an assortment of fish parts. We queried than why advertised it as fish wings/belly if that's not what will be served. They eventually served us some fish wings in replacement. Laksa soup base was very disappointing and noodles over cooked.

Herbal Chicken was average. Had the herbal taste but was too salty after eating half way through.

Fried Squid had no flavours and satay chicken was also a let down, little dry and was pan fried. They even replaced the red onions (as advertised on their menu) with normal onions. We believe that it's because red onions are more expensive but that's just wrong. How can they serve satay sticks with white onions? All the food came out looking nothing like the menu.

Chendol drink arrived and once we stir up the content of the drink, it was 3/4 full. They did not fill up enough ice and was overly too sweet. We asked for more ice shavings and was told that's how it's served. We have had chendol around PERTH and this was very expensive given the amount served and also the sweetest!

Would not go back.

A new Malaysia hawker franchise, it's definitely got followers as there was a waiting line for seats on a Sunday lunch. Alot like the Papparich franchise with a range of roti, fried noodles, Nasi lemak, kaya toast, fancy drinks and desserts at a slightly cheaper price. I tried the Dry Mee Siam with fried chicken; Nasi Lemak with fried chicken; Char Kuey Teow; Chicken & Lamb Satay; Nyonya Beef Curry rice; and Kueh Malas. Hit and miss with the variety - the satay was nice, tender chicken and love the sauce; the CKT had the flavour but wasn't fried enough; the fried chicken was crispy and well marinated; the Nasi lemak was flavoursome, liked the coconut rice, sambal was good, and liked that it had acar (pickled vege) in there. The beef curry was so so only, not spicy and bit too sweet. Took away some tau fu fa, so hope it's good. And their range of drinks were pretty good, with a few different ones you generally don't find. Not too bad for the range, but not the best.
