Great selection of fresh seafood battered or grilled on the premises . The freshly battered prawns and oysters were delicious As an ex chef I was very pleased with the quality of food and friendly service. Place was very clean and prices reasonable. Will be back . We are regular customers and the quality is usually quite good, however today it was very very good! The battered fish was perfect - melts in your mouth, the batter crispy and salted just right . The grilled barra was so good - cooked very well. We were just thinking of trying other places but with your quality today we will just keep coming back.

We ordered so much food, it was ready so fast and the food was incredible. My family has been coming here for years and it never disappoints.

Who puts the reviews on here!!?? We just picked up “snapper” and chips! Absolutely disgusting! Fish must have been frozen with the batter on it. No one could eat it. EVERYTHING was thrown out. Disgraceful. Please write TRUE reviews.

This place is terrific. Friendly helpful staff and great prices. $13.80 large piece of fish and good amount of chips, pineapple fritter and can of drink. Feeds two people nicely. I usually add a banana fritter also. Batter is crispy , chips are perfectly done, the fish is flakey and so nice and fresh and hot (hake). Never soggy, always crispy and fresh and hot. You gotta go here, terrific local take away business.

This was the first meal of fish and chips we had from Canning Vale Fish and Chips. We can honestly say, it was GREAT. The staff was friendly , the service was good and the meal very tasty!! Worth repeating.......

I never choose fish & chips as an option for takeout but I’ve come here twice in a month & will go again soon. Crispy batter & amazingly fresh, tasty fish. Prawns are awesome too! Service is super friendly! Alfresco area is beautiful. Looking forward to sitting out there on a warm night.

Been here a dozen times, forever the best in the area but the workers now are slack and lazy. Feel bad for the owners, the current generation of young get away at hopeless. <br/><br/>Three times in a row, they messed up the order. No wonder small business is struggling in this country everywhere, when the workers are so poor and can't even take an order off the phone. <br/><br/>Millenials are doomed to fail.

We are from the Uk and when we are over visiting family this is always one of our ports of call. Great portions, lovely service and fantastic food!!

With out a doubt the freshest and tastiest fish and chips I have had in a long time. Very generous serve of fish and chips for a family of 4 (we had trouble eating it all) 4 Fish, Big portion of Chips, 1.25ltr Drink and 4 Crab Sticks at a very reasonable price (around $10 a head) Everything was cooked to perfection and not too oily. We will definitely be going back for more!

They changed the Squid recipe, its now crumbed and almost flavourless. Pretty disappointed they changed it, and there was no notification anywhere that i was aware of (not that they really need to). Got a whole serve, ate a few and tossed the rest, it was that bad.<br/><br/>Still, the rest of the menu and chips are great as always and i definitely go here over anywhere else in the Canning Vale area, just now avoid the squid.

This is the only place I ever buy fish and chips! Every time I get it from here, I can enjoy a great non oily fish and perfect chips! Can't wait for Friday now!

We trued several.fish and chips in thw area and thus place us our favourite. Beautiful fish and chips, the batter on the fish is really nice. Its also very well priced, the staff are friendly too. But my favourite is the gravy its so yummy.

Yummy fish and chips! Very fast and not expensive in my opinion, no eftpos is a bit annoying but really it's no big deal, just make sure to get cash out beforehand. Don't think I'd go anywhere else for fish and chips in the area now I've gone here!<br/>Oh and the onion rings, drooolllll!

Nice fish but bad chips.. The fish is nice but the chips are dry out of the bag style (poms beware, these are frozen chips). The size of the fish is very good but they are very stingy on the chips, you get more wrapping paper than chips! If the only chips you've had are in Perth then this place will be fine for you, if you've lived and eaten elsewhere, the chips will be a disappointment. If you are still searching for that ever elusive good chippy you won't find it here. Come on 'Canning Vale Fish and Chips', make an effort, make your own chips, put them next to the great fish you do and you'll make a killing! I'd be there every night! Also, please read a good recipe for mushy peas and curry sauce as these were well below par. You can do better.

A clear favourite!!. I've been living in Canning Vale for the last 10 years or so, seen fish & chip premises (and owners) come and go. This place is still the best out there and run by the same wonderful couple. When it comes to fish, especially, these days people tend to choose the cheap import variety. We are fortunate to have such amazing produce here in WA, and that is reflected here. The fish is always well cooked, isn't mushy and quality is amazing. Quality over quantity right?? Having heard so much about the peas and curry from British friends, decided to give it a try and have never looked back! Great change from our typical tartar sauce and pickled onions. <br/>Our area has changed so much over the years with heaps more fast foods arriving in Livingston , The Vale and Southern river. We've been lucky to have Canning Vale Fish & Chips while my kids have grown up. Not too bad but bit expensive. The fish and chips is not too bad but its a little pricey and they don't accept credit card like Ferraro's Fish and Chips in Canning Vale does :)<br/>The squid has a really good crumb which is the best thing about this place!!!

Started getting stingy. This place used to be great, but recently their portions have been getting smaller and smaller. Now I don't bother.

Easily my favourite fish and chip shop. Love this place! I've probably only ever had 1 negative experience followed by 500 positive experiences here.<br/><br/>The fish is great (I usually get the Snapper) and the chips were nice and crisp.. not soggy... just how I like them. Drinks were also cheap as well.

Best Fish and Chips in the Canning area. <br/><br/>We drive past at least 2 Fish and Chip shops on our way to this awesome chip shop. <br/><br/>Friendly staff, good atmosphere, they have a rear projection TV, and a book exchange running. <br/><br/>Everything cooked perfectly, and reasonable prices, generous portions. <br/><br/>Cash only though.
