Tastiest hainanese chicken rice we've found in Perth, especially for boneless chicken , serve your own chilli and only $6.50! Took a little while to be able to order as demand was pretty high, but definitely worth the wait and the drive! The choy poh tofu was a highlight too. Sooo fresh, perfectly cooked, sauce was on point - just delicious. We'll be back!
Loved it. Tasted both the Hainanese Chicken Rice and the Roast Chicken rice! Great taste! Also tried the Tofu and was so yummy! Definitely recommend it. And for the price of $6 - what not to like?
Located in a food court, this place was a great place for cheap eat. There have happy hour promotion from 3pm to 5pm , two chicken rice for $10.
The hainanese chicken rice, the rice was flavor some but a little bit dry . The chicken was alright but good thing is there are boneless. Roast rice rice was quite good too.
Overall, this place don't sell the best chicken rice but for the price you pay for and the serving size, it was well worth it.

This rating is just for their tofu. It is delicious and is a must order, even if you're getting the rest of your meals from elsewhere in the food court. For meat eaters and vegos alike. It's smooth, silky and flavoursome (it's combine with egg somehow), and feels super comforting/wholesome. I wish you could order the tofu alone on uber eats, but sadly this is not possible. The food court itself can be a bit messy but that's not the restaurant's fault.
I’ve been here countless times just because they do the most affordable chicken rice ever! I personally prefer their hainan chicken rice but I have heard their roasted chicken rice is yummy as well. They also served choy pou tofu and herbal tea egg if you’re keen on trying their side dishes! Recently i have visited their store and they were doing their happy hour deal which was 2 for $10 chicken rice! Definitely scored that!
Cheap eats. Personally prefer the roasted chicken rice as there's more flavours. They also have curry laksa on the weekends but you have to get there early as they run out pretty quick
Came here for the 1 for 1 offer. After a long wait we finally got our chicken rice. Taste is not bad and chilli was pretty good. Worth it for the price
Three words to describe this place: Fast. Cheap. Yummy! I had the chicken rice and tofu. Both good. The chicken rice chilli is sweeter than I'm used to. The place is located inside a food court and has plenty of high chairs if you're bringing the kids.
It's not easy nowadays to find yourself a decent plate of $6.50 chicken rice. And for that you should be glad that chicken rice corner is here! At $6.50, you get arguably large portion of chicken rice. Taste wise is not too bad either - I mean of course it is not the best chicken rice in the world, but it is still good: soft and tasty, and at $6.50 you can't really complain man! Make sure you ask for more chilli (it's not spicy) as I find it really complements the chicken and brings up more flavor!
Simply delicious. Remind me of my college day eating chicken rice from KL Central Market. The potion is big enough for me because I'm not a big eater. But if you can eat more, this is a bit small for Aussie normal potion. For $6.50 I have no complain about it. Can chose between poached or roasted.
Value for money chicken rice, the wife and kids love this one as there are no bones in the chicken ( I prefer with ), the soup is good and plenty of flavour in the rice. Super busy so I hope the prices stay as low as they are now.
Looks like a pretty new chicken rice option located within Tan's Foodcourt in Canning Vale. For $6.50 a plate of either roast chicken rice or the steamed version, it's pretty worth it with the portion they serve. Taste wise I think it's ok, nothing special, wished the rice had more of the ginger flavour. The chicken was good however, not dry and plenty of meat to get into. The chilli is more of the sweet kind. Good option for a cheap chicken rice fix.

Just took hubby with me to tried your chicken rice and tofu. Liked them both! I had the roast chicken and hubs had the Hainanese chicken, he was a little disappointed that there was no skin at all on his chicken as seen in all the pictures. Portion sizes are like what you see in Asia, so it was just right. We enjoyed it so takeaway 2 serves for our family too. Will come back again. Thanks for using free range.
Value for money, big plate of rice with quite a big of chicken . Service was fast and responsive. 👍🏻👍🏻 i would go back if I wanted a quick meal and was very hungry.
For this price, nothing much to complain about. As you can tell the portion is quite generous for the price. The rice could do with more flavours but will do. Worth trying and going back again.
Chicken rice is delicious, would be nice if they cut the braised egg in half when they serve it.
But price wise it's unbeatable, truly value for money for what they offer!

Not the most flavoursome chicken rice... nor the most silky... but it is $6.50 a serve so we really can't complain! We tried both the roast and hainanese style chicken and both were okay and the rice had reasonable amount of flavour too. Will definitely try the tofu next time.
Straight up chicken rice. Nothing fancy, quantity and quality is decent considering the price. With the long queue (Sunday lunch time) we waited about 25mins.
Delicious and cheap! Both steamed and roasted chicken (boneless) are good. Long way from Joondalup but been looking for excuses to go weekly since they opened. Just tried their tofu dish last week...awesome! Crispy outside, smooth silky inside. Self serve chilli sauce & dark soy sauce completes the dish.
Very good value for the price, I don't think you can find better in Perth.
Fragrant chicken rice, decent sized portion of boneless chicken (my kids loved it). Yes chicken not chicken skin and bone -like other places..
The Tofu is very delicious...
Bean sprouts = good, pretty hard to cook them wrong.
This food court also serves Teh and Kopi.. cendol etc..
Chicken chop and char siew added to the menu would finish it off perfectly... IMHO...

Chicken rice the dish definitely attracted a lot of crowd into this food court since it opened.
Tried twice at different time, first time ordered a steamed chicken. Fairly should said is okay, chicken good, the rice a bit hard. I thought maybe is in the late evening the chicken might have dried up a bit. Nothing much to say...
Couple weeks later came back again to try the roast chicken (buy 1 get 1 free), it's fairly good deal, 2 for the price of one, so go get it. I do said roast chicken taste better but this time the rice a bit gluggy. Probably best if they can master the rice cooking. This time I ordered some side dishes, I do recommend their tofu, for $5 besides really cheap, it's a nicely deep fried outside but nice silky smooth inside when you bite on it. Can't get enough!
Anyway overall there are better chicken rice out there you can try in Perth but for the price you pay for this I think is fair and good value, don't complaint. I love going there, not just for this chicken rice, most of shops are run by family in the food court, clean and spacious, no one in a hurry to kick you out, and food are above average so is a tick for me.
Love their chicken rice, finally a place for a good authentic Singapore/Malaysia Style chicken rice. The chicken is tender, the aroma of the chicken rice is so nice and the blended chilli was so tasty. I highly recommend this place as the food is nice the price is right, where can you find $6.50 per serving of chicken rice with soup. Went there yesterday with my wife and we have half of the chicken, a plate of home made tofu and 2 serve of chicken rice, for all this cost me less then $14 per person. Highly recommended to any people who love chicken rice, you will not be disappoint.
Just had this today - takeaway though and I was thoroughly impressed with how authentic it was. From the soup to the chilli sauce, everything was singing in perfect unison. Cannot wait to go back and tell my friends all about it! So glad that there's a nice chicken rice shop close to home now! and so affordable too!
Simply western is fusion of Singapore /Malaysian causine.I love the lamb chop ,chicken chop in simply western.The best I have ever tried .They also having Briyani on Saturday and Sunday it was super yummy .

Newly opened 6 Spices served up delicious indian food. Gomi was originally from Gopis curry leaf in willetton but has sinced opened up this shop. Her mee goreng remains delicious. the lunch and dinner bryani rice specials are value for money.
Simply Western the best place for Western foods such as Fish N Chips(using Snapper), chicken chop, Sizzling Lamb chop, Chicken Burger, Chicken Cutlet...One of the cheapest and tasty food that you may find in Perth.
I live in the area and never knew this place existed! Will come back to try other food court restaurant.
Best asian food court and so close to work! I get the Pho Bo from Viet noodle and grill and its so delicious! And really good big bowl for only $10.50!!
