Close to home and not crappy =) what more could you ask for.. Could do with more durian in their durian milkshake though. =) overall well worth it.
came here for a friends birthday and ordered pho trio with a mango passion smoothie to share. staff were quick and friendly, although perhaps a bit overworked. the pho was nice, although my only reason the rating is so low is because i found the interior a bit too shabby. if it was renovated or rethought it would provide a much better dining experience.
Well I wish this place is going to be here forever because I love their food! Spacious restaurant, great lighting, and attentive staff. Their ordering systems are great and straightforward. They have a wide range of selection of food too. I keep going back for their broken rice, and beef ball noodle soup. Worth to give them a go!
HEAPS of noodles and broth, with plenty of mint and bean sprouts. Great value for money. Always come here for a hearty meal, broth could use some more flavour but overall very good.
This place is in my way to work from Perth. Very nice pho place, really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee and baguettes. Worth a visit if you are a local in Cannington. They are open on Sunday until 9pm.
Ordered the pho with beef and meatballs. Pretty decent, I must say! Honestly, you can't go wrong with pho. This place serves pho with beef that is cooked perfectly, especially the meatballs. The bowl was huge ! And for $15, it's quite affordable. Normally when I eat pho, a bowl is never enough and I'd end up hungry still, but this bowl was so filling I couldn't finish all of it ! Nice interior, good customer service, and parking is easy. Would come back if I am hankering for some pho.

Service was fast and waitstaffs were friendly. The pho da biet was a bit pricey compare to other restaurants but the portion came in very generous.
The stuffs fried chickens were a bit salty, would be perfect if it could be improved and the price was fairly cheap as it is almost half of the price of the other restaurants. Vietnamese coffee tasted very authentic but there were too much ice inside which dilute down the taste of the coffee.
Very spacious restaurant. Lovely warm decor. The staff service was good. I ordered 2 entrees and a main dish. The stuffed chicken wings and meaty spring rolls were good but the pork chop with broken rice was pretty average. I don't think I'll revisit this place.
Like how spacious, clean and brightly lighted the place is. Not the most authentic Vietnamese food around, but a good place for a quick and easy meal. We usually go for the Noodles/Pho bowls as you get better value for money with these. Noodle soups are tasty and food generally tastes great. Really enjoy the crispy Meat Spring Roll, Hu Tieu Combination, Bun Bo Hue, and Bun Shredded Pork & Spring Roll. The roast & braised duck, to our surprise, are cooked well; moist and delicious. However, having said that, their food are most likely enhanced with MSG as we get really thirsty after dining here. Not a fan of their Crabmeat noodle soup or stir-fry/curry and rice dishes; meat portion is very small for the price you pay, though you get a big serving of rice.
Service is good and efficient. Food is also takeaway friendly.

I've been to Phoever Vietnamese in Cannington along Albany Hwy several times, and its always a delight and satisfaction. At first it is a bit odd to see a restaurant joint along with car services joints and tyres stores, not to mention that it is the only restaurant along this strip. However, this location of the restaurant makes it stand out really well, particularly with its bright exterior. On the inside, it has a very lively decor, gives a cheery and bright effect to the customers.
They have a wide selection of food that will absolutely cater with a wide variety of customers! really recommend their Pho Trio as it is bloody amazing, especially on a cold winter night! Their Shrimp spring roll as an entree is a delish as well and their chicken lemongrass is absolutely delicious! Their drink selection is also wide, but avocado shake is an absolute must-try!
Staff are very friendly and accomodating, which is a plus. The service and the wait for the food is also very good and reasonable but average wait is probably 5-7minutes, no exaggeration!
The food quality is considerably good for a Vietnamese restaurant south of river. If you want even better ones, you will have to go into the heart of Vietnamese i.e. Girrawheen.

My partner ate the duck and fried rice which was the moistest duck he's eaten however mine was tough and cold.

I had the satay tofu and Iced Vietnamese Coffee. Liked both. Way too much ice in the coffee though & satay wasn't amazing. I like this place though. So many meal choices and drink options, spacious interior including booths & easy ordering system. Will return👍🏻
Very flavorful and tasty food here always. Been here a few times. I love their Bun Bo Xao, bahn mi, and iced vietnamese coffee in particular. Don't like their pho that much because they taste like just MSG in soup. Very thirsty after eating a bowl of pho there. Considered pricey for $15 for most dishes on the menu as far as vietnamese food goes in comparison to other vietnamese restaurants in perth. Convenient for me because of its location

I always stick to bun bo hue and pho or any other noodle broths. Their fried noodles/rice dishes are a bit of a let down in flavours compared to their soup doshes.
If you come here to eat just eat noodle soup dishes the other meals are quite average.
I can’t say that Cannington is a place I associate with restaurants, so when friends suggested we go to Phoever Vietnamese Restaurant in Cannington I wasn’t sure what to think but I have learnt to remain open minded. The restaurant is situated next to a scooter shop. When I say scooter I don’t mean the trendy Vespa type they were mobility scooters, though I must admit one Harley inspired version was pretty cute.
Restaurant is bright and spacious, nice to have groups gatherings. The food is nice as well, we try pho and fried rice, both of this food is good. Definitely will come back.
First time trying this with my sister few weeks ago. The food is quite good, I think it is convenient enough for me to bring a baby along as we live nearby. The shop is bright and kids friendly too. Instead of driving to city for a bowl of pho, this is good enough. Will definetely go back again
Went here for the first time and tried the Pho with the family (dad had chicken, I had mixed meat and wide beef). All thought it was really good, the broth especially tasty! Also had desert which was tasty. Overall, good Viet resto :)
I had drop rice noodle with crab meat which was very tasty and hearty. However the crab meat is a frozen style which is a let down. The other dishes were okay (i forgot the name but you can look at the photos). Dessert combination ice was not bad. Fried ice cream is standard.
12 of us had dinner at Phoever tonight. The venue is bright and inviting. We all ordered different items. We had Rice Paper Rolls with Beef and Vegs for entree and loved it. Never seen this entree before at any other Vietnamese restaurants in town. Thin sliced beef was yummy. For main we ordered Egg Noodle & Wonton Soup topped with Pork, Seafood and Vegs. Broth was nice and refreshing. Wontons' filling was juicy, however the skin could be thinner. Overall, it's a pleasant dish! Everyone's favourite was probably the fried noodle, which I didnt take photo of. Broken Rice dish looked awesome and generous, to try next time! None complained about their own dish, everyone was happy. Lastly we had Che Rainbow for dessert, lovely!Their coffees were good too! Staffs were very efficient although they're busy all the time. Will definitely go back often.
First time here and was really impressed. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming. Selection was large and a little overwhelming as it all looked delicious. Settled on prawn spring rolls, chicken satay sticks for entree and Mi Trio and red chicken curry with fried rice for main. Everything came out quickly and tasted amazingly fresh and full of flavour. Very warming on a rainy Perth night.
Definitely plan on returning to try the rest of the menu!!

I came in at 3 and i saw alot of tables that had not been cleaned and full of the last diners meals.
Anyway I had combination Pho n 3 bean mix.
There was alot of noodles but need more meat for the price they charge or something abit extra. Broth was nothing special but sweet.
To order, (it's similar to Papparich), you write down what you want, press the bell n staff collect your order.
Its average. Girrawheen/Marangaroo area have alot better restaurants with better flavour at better value.
If you live SOR, it'll be a good local to Viet food
Lovely Vietnamese restaurant south of the river. There's hardly any places that do Vietnamese down south so it's great to have one so close by. Ordering style is like Pappa Rich and the drinks menu is quite extensive. Coconut smoothie is a must try!

First time trying out the food here. Got satay chicken for entree and the dry egg noodle with duck for main. Chicken are still juicy, not a big fan of the sauce though. The noodle are great in combination with the duck.
Tried the ice Vietnamese coffee, looks and taste great.
Overall a great place. Big space area allowing for a comfy place, friendly staff and very quick service time.
Tried this vietnamese place for the first time and like the pappa rich style ordering with the massive picture filled menu and order pad. They accommodated all our special requests for drinks to be hot rather than chilled and change of noodles for our dishes. Huge serves! Worth a visit:)
Definitely pay this place a visit! The staff are very warm and friendly, the restaurant has incredible decor and the food will leave you wanting more. The dry egg noodles are cooked to perfection and make a great base for the sauces to soak into.
There are 9 of us coming, we ordered all different dishes and everyone are satisfied with their meal! Good system of ordering, nice atmosphere and excellent service too!
Had a meal this evening with a large group of people at Phoever. Easy to order and menus very clear with pictures for those who are new to pho like myself. Everything was delicious and the servings were large. The table was massive with tonnes of space and you aren't crowded around others which makes for better conversation. I actually really enjoyed our dinner at Phoever tonight. Thanks for inviting us friends! We are even planning our next visit since we liked it so much #ernielikeditaswell #Dale&Coeat
This place gets very busy on a saturday night, we had to wait 30 mins for a table for two. This place could probably do with a few tables that are suited for 2 people rather than just having tables for 4 people.. With ordering, you write down what you want & press the button to be served, not bad. The pho & bun bo hue tasted very good, just like any noodle soup from other vietnamese places. The serving portions are also very generous!
Phoever Vietnamese Restaurant offers plenty of delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I love their broken rice vermicelli with pork and spring roll. It was fresh and tasted decent too. But the highlight for me is the authentic Vietnamese dessert. I tried both of the desserts recommended by the staff : the fried ice cream and banana sticky rice and I love them both and I recommend you all to try these awesome desserts.
Interesting story: Both my parents in law ordered the avocado smoothie. One came sweet and delicious, one came bland and tasteless. We asked the waiter who immediately fixed the issue: they came back with a brand new one and apologize for the bland avocado smoothie as it was done by the new staff. I may also emphasised that they apologized repeatedly. Great service to handle a situation.
Overall great place to eat, plenty sitting area with plenty of parking.

I expected the food to be average from these reviews. But as a viet myself living around the south of Perth, I wanted to try it. Ordering on a notepad, was pretty simple. I tried the Pho and Shaking Beef with rice, the broth was not too salty and tasted great, but the shaking beef was my favourite. I also had a coconut smoothie which wasn't too heavy. Although the food was quite pricey. It was definitely worth it, especially not having to drive all the way to the city just for a meal. Definitely would come again for the efficient service and the viet food.
I come here all the time! It's so nice, worth the price, giant servings and great service! Totally recommend! At first I was a bit nervous coming here due to all the reviews but I would say its one of the best vietnamese restaurants out there. A favourite is the shaking beed (R4).
Fantastic customer service from Jeffery. Something was missed on our order which was quickly rectified by Jeffery. Food is reasonably priced. Pho was authentic and full of flavour. Food was served in a timely manner and restaurant had a nice layout. Would really like it if they served crispy chicken with saigon sauce. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Vietnamese cuisine.
Love it!!! Friendly service, nice springrolls, and the pho was so tasty. We ordered raw beef pho, combination beef pho with meatballs and a cosmopolitan. The pho was incredible. The broth was so tasty and the portion was generous. The cosmopolitan was just okay, not much alcohol in it. But so far we were really happy for what we had. We will definitely come visit again soon!
Went to have dinner here last night (2nd night of opening) and I was expecting things to not be running smoothly but was pleasantly surprised. The ordering system is like Pappa Rich where you write your order on the order pad and then you ring the bell for the waiter to pick up your order. Good came out quite quickly. Husband ordered the pho and although the serving isn't as big as other places, the flavour of the soup was delicious. I ordered the bun bo xiao and I must say, it is probably the best one I've had and the sauce was spicy enough. Ordered rice paper rolls as well but they were a bit skinny and the rice paper was a bit tough. The negatives is that the meals are quite pricey and I wrote no bean sprouts in my noodle but it came out with bean sprouts. I didn't bother mentioning it but will say something if it happens again. Overall good experience and will definitely recommend it.
I have tried crispy chicken noodle soup and I really like their broth! It's fresh and tasty. It's just clear soup but that's what I want. My friend ordered another soup I don't remember the name she said it's her favourites then we ordered beef salad to share which also tasty. Good portion, great service

Everyone has to come here. It is the best I have ever had. Been here only 20mins and we have been seated, we ordered and also ate. The food was to die for. The shakin beef rice with salad was hands down the best thing I have ever eaten. Already ordering a second one and some more of the beef skewers.
Oh and the pricing is fantastic!!!
