Review Fat Frog Beach Cafe - Cannonvale

Lovely little Cafe overlooking the water, pet friendly and even has a few menu items for your fur baby. Menu has a great variety of food for brekky, brunch or lunch and staff are attentive and cater to all your needs. I'd give more stars to the staff for dealing with my grumpy 14.5 year old dog. Will definitely be back.

Had a quick bite after no luck with fishing. The place is lovely, peaceful feeling, plenty of convenient parking nearby, the view was Gorgeous!! The food was beautiful. I had the Thai salad with fish, the first fish I had while staying in the area and it was fresh, well cooked ( complement to the cheff👌) and gorgeous presented with tasty mixed salad😋👌. Coffee was perfect. Highly recommended 👍👍🌞🌞

Googled where to go for breakfast after a Sunday morning hike and the Fat Frog came up so decided to give it a try. So glad that we did. It was a little busy but we didn’t have to wait for too long. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They had run out of GF bread and came over to apologise and offered to swap it out for hash browns which I was more than happy with. Both my breakfast and my husband’s were delicious and I’d happily recommend this cafe to my friends.

Not a bad little spot for brekkie. Being packed is a good indication usually. Got a seat by the window facing the water - which in my opinion is the best spot. Ordered the pannacotta and the green breakfast. It was all very nice although I felt the pannacotta could have had a little more fruit in it as their instagram is what I based my decision off. Coffee was alright.

Since moving myself and my feline, the Lady Gracie, to The Whitsundays only 2 months ago, I thought it was about time I visited The Fat Frog for breakfast. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy at 7.30am on a Sunday morning and yet there was a casual and comfortable feel to the place, with the staff being professional and very welcoming. The coffee was strong and delicious and the food was fantastic, and there’s so much of it I couldn’t eat it all. Thank you for your hospitality. I look forward to joining you for breakfast again soon.

Steak sandwich was superb, I'm a well rounded steaky boy and this has topped the list of the best I've had. Onion chutney is to die for. Eggs bene was perfect, eggs poached to perfection and neatly plated for a hearty, lovely meal. Staff were brilliant and friendly.

The food was awesome, the service was amazing and quick and the staff very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this cafe.

The reviews were right, this place is fantastic. Relaxed environment in a stunning location, good food and top notch coffee. I had the Fat Frog meal, very well made and serving was in line sigh the price. Although I did see someone else get fish n chips which means I will have to be back as it look yummy �

Fat Frog Cafe is a must if your visiting The Whitsundays. Every time I’ve been, the food has been amazing, great coffee, beautiful location and views, and the most wonderfully friendly staff. Such a treasure to behold. Great kids corner too. �

Amazing. Hubby and me came to Airlie for a weekend away for our wedding anniversary and we were told to check you guys out. Well we were not disappointed. Loved every bite of our meals. Will recommend to everyone I know and we will be back one day.

What an excellent cafe! Family friendly with a kids corner and the views are incredible too! Not to mention the food was just perfect! It was so good we went back the very next day! Thank you to the staff who were all helpful and provided a great service!

I think it was just about the best breakfast I’ve ever had

I drove over 33000km on my Big Lap around Australia. Fat Frog is easily in my Top 5 of coffee and brekkie places in the whole country. Lovely staff, amazing coffee and delicious food. Highly recommended.

There today with 9 of us for breakfast. Ordered meals and drinks together and service was spot on - very efficient and was impressed when drinks and meals delivered to the table in a timely and friendly manner. It was busy when we were there. Excellent service and meals were very good. Well done and we will be back again. We are from Brisbane and make a habit of going to Fat Frog when we come to Airlie which is frequently due to family being here.
