We have become regulars here. It's our absolute new favourite place. Jin is always the greatest waitress. So welcoming and kind. We are moving away but will most definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

What an absolute gem of a place, the staff were attentive and helpful. The food itself was also stunning, their bulgogi burrito was full of flavour with well marinated beef and soft fresh rice. The main event however, the margaritas are nothing like I've had in Sydney. Will most definitely be making this a regular.
Been here multiple times and the food is always great. The owner is super friendly. Last time he even served me a complimentary drink while I waited for my take away. Dine in if you can, the cocktails and atmosphere is worth drinking in.

We had the tacos, burrito and lunch special of half chicken. The chicken was the best and was such great value for money. The tacos and burrito was also nice but tasted like most generic Mexican good. Servers were super sweet and would definitely recommend to others.

This is a great restaurant to come to if you’re looking for unique, delicious Korean and Mexican fusion food. We ordered the honey prawn tacos, chicken tacos, kimchi fries and the spicy sweet chicken. The food was so good and extremely generous portions. We also got two cocktails which were delicious and CHEAP for what we got. Our waitress (a shorter korean one- sorry I didn’t get her name) was soooo nice, friendly and attentive. The service she gave to us was 10/10, the best.

First time trying Korean/Mexican fusion cuisine. We got a bunch of chicken tenderloins (sweet and spicy, chimichurri and snow). I like the sauce of the sweet and spicy but it wasn't that spicy.
We also got bulgogi loaded fries which was nice.
I was really surprised that the fries and chicken stayed crispy and crunchy on the delivery.
Would love to try this place when it reopens for dining in to try the tacos!
This place was fantastic!, the food was delicious I really enjoyed the prawn and bulgogi tacos very creative and tasty and their grapefruit iced drink was very refreshing. Very friendly owner and staff it was a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely visit again in the future!

Funky place! Staff are super friendly, always checking up on us as well. Food was delish! The honey tacos are divine, so many flavour notes recognised in each bite! Such a great idea to infuse korean into Mexican style meals, it's something special. Will return for sure!

Everything about this place is perfect, the attentive wait staff, the staff are extremely friendly and look genuinely happy with a big smile on their face, speed of service ie. Not to fast not to slow, the food i had the Crispy chicken breast burger, it was cooked perfectly, chicken nice and crispy on the outside tender and juicy on the inside, the cocktail menu, very interesting, i had the Banana Makgeorita, this came with a banana on the top which was cooked to perfection, crispy toasted toffee on the top and still the perfect consistency on the inside ie. Not soggy at all. I will definitely be back

The cocktails we tried were Bonita Senorita, Pura macho and Sexy Lopez AND THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTLY BOMB!!! And I recommend them 100%!
The food was good too! We had Kimchi Fried rice Mozzarekka cheese ball, Honey cream prawn Tacos, Picanle Chicken, Chilli Carne Quesadilla and Himchi Bulgogi fries. My favourite was The Picanle Chicken.

They opened for public holiday which is always convenient.
We tried the chicken taco combo. It was a shame that they dont have half chicken as a choice, it’s a lot of chicken for 2.
We also got beer and mojito mocktail. The mocktail cuts through the fried chicen well, and the beer was easy to drink, except the beer can came to us a little mangled
The chicken was crispy and flavoured well, the beef taco was generously portioned but it was way too wet. Didnt soak through the tortilla but was messy.

This was our first visit and we tried the Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, Baja and Chicken tacos for lunch. The pork tacos were delicious with the perfect amount of spice. The fish and chicken tacos were good however there was abit too much mayo and sauce on both of them which overpowered the taco. Also the bulgogi tacos were also quite enjoyable however the marinade of the beef was abit more sweeter than what I’m usually used to. Would definitely visit again at a more lively time or even dinner for a different experience !

Conveniently situated next to Canterbury Plaza with plenty of parking is this beautiful, unique Korean-Mexican restaurant decorated with neon signage. Korean-Mexican may sound like an unconventional duo, but Vecino executes the concept flawlessly and is able to bring together the best of both cuisines.
This amazing restaurant is open morning til late, serving cocktails, coffee, breakfast, dessert, lunch, dinner and everything in between. We were very impressed by their warm hospitality, Instagrammable cocktails and delicious food. Definitely check this one out if you haven't already!
One of the best fusion restaurants in Sydney hands down. The snowy chicken was fantastic and full of flavour, but star of the show was definitely the prawn taco. It was one of those plates that you only need to taste once for it to stick in your mind for a long long time. We will definitely return for more!

I could confidently say that this restaurant is one the best fusion restaurant I’ve ever been to !! Vecino serves a creative variety of Korean and Mexican fusion food, ranging from the Korean fried chicken, shrimp taco to wagu beef burger!! Don’t forget to order the Vecino Ritas and cocktails which are not only aesthetically pleasing but is also perfect to drink with loads of different flavors of sweet and spicy!
One of the most popular items was the Signature Kimchi Burrito ($16), which can be served either in a bowl, or with a soft flour tortilla. I opted for the latter, and was rewarded with a hefty wrap, stuffed full of kimchi fried rice and smoky pork, along with the usual burrito trimmings. This was a treat to eat, the hearty filling of sweet-yet-spicy rice and meat mellowed out by the melted cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. Funnily enough, whilst I would’ve liked a little more salad to keep things balanced, Chris wanted nothing more than a burrito full of rice and pork. Either way it’s a tasty burrito, even if you’re not a fan of kimchi, as the flavour never got overwhelming.

Veccino is located in the inner west suburb of Canterbury. It’s been open for almost a year but has already become a local favourite. It has a lovely wooden interior, some funky neon art signs on the walls and a newly created outdoor area at the front. Perfect for any occasion. Vecinno is a Mexican Korean fusion restaurant, getting the best of Mexico’s earthiness and combining it with Korea’s kimchi inspired flavours. The menu is very diverse. We noticed cocktails featuring tequila blended with Korean rice wine and food featuring tacos and burritos filled with kimchi and bulgogi.
Fusion food is everywhere, but coming across something new is always exciting, like this Mexican Korean fusion. Think kimchi fried rice burritos, ridiculously tasty fried chicken, and some Mexican inspired cocktails to wash everything down
From the moment we got there we were so amazed at how great the place looked ! Staff was so friendly and kind. The girl who served us recommended some dishes, so we ordered those, and they were incredible !!!

To start with, we first ordered this a week ago as takeaway and that didn’t end well, tacos fell apart and were too soggy. I didn’t want to hold that against the shop as they did advise against it on the phone so I gave them another go.
2nd time lucky was a treat with the in-house food wonderful and the fusion really makes a difference. Definitely a unique experience you can’t get anywhere else in Sydney and that is enough to visit on its own merit.
Where can i start.. the ambience was amazing, the service was great, the food was incredible .. prices are fair and reasonable in terms of the quality of food you are getting. Would 100% recommend
Vecino canterbury is a great spot for a casual meal. Service is good. Very friendly and welcoming. Food is nice. Fresh tacos and chicken are the standout. Good value for money. Always a favourite, particularly if you can get a special menu! Staff are always good as well! Never a complaint from me.I had a such a good time I am looking forward to going back 100 percent!

The fries is the way to go, recommend it and it was amazing! The sauce mixed with the cheese and a hint of jalapenos complete the fries, I can't stop thinking about it. It was that good!

It’s prob one of my favourite cuisine weddings haha love how they married the Korean flavours to the Mexican flavours! They have some awesome corona cocktails as well!
Although I was a bit skeptical about mixing Korean with Mexican food, Vecino does very well to infuse the two cultures together. In terms of dishes:
Spicy pork tacos - 5/5, great flavours that had me craving for more!
Share plate - 4.5/5, chicken was cooked to perfection with it being both crispy and juicy. The garlic chicken was quite strong and not particularly my cup of tea but an avid garlic lover would find great joy in devouring it.
Bulgogi fries - 5/5, simply just wow! Must try.
Chicken Quesadillas with pesto - 3/5, vibrant flavour with the inclusion of pesto which changed things up.
Sexy Sanchez (alcoholic slushie) - 3.5/5, aesthetically pleasing and really sweet. Would recommend to any and all lovers of strawberry and lime ciders.
Overall, a groovy setting with great food and service. Recommend to anyone looking to try something different!

Share plate 3.5/5 : spicy/garlic/teriyaki/original fried chicken, chicken was cooked perfectly. Crispy and juicy. The only thing That didn’t work for me was the garlic chicken. Garlic flavour was way too strong for me so maybe garlic lovers may like it. Best flavour was the teriyaki chicken !

Spicy pork taco: 4/5: pork was juicy and flavoursome.

One of my favourite new finds this year! Vecino serves up fusion Korean x Mexican dishes with an amazing cocktails list. Must try their specialty cocktails when you visit, (I loved my Melona Ju!) and of course their fried chicken and tacos. I am already planning to revisit with a group of friends as the fried chicken servings are big and great for sharing and I want to try more of their menu. This restaurant has a great vibe for a good night out with friends or date night.

A colleague recommended this fusion place. Came here on a Sunday night. Grabbed the spicy chicken + fries, bulgogi tacos & cruiser Rita. The flavours were bomb. For a fun and unique dinner experience we headed to Vecino in Canterbury, a Mexican x Korean fusion restaurant that serves up tacos with a twist and some seriously cool drinks!. We started off with two of their signature cocktails, which were both delightful – the Cruiser Rita, which was a watermelon frozen magherita with an upside down Vodka Cruiser bottle being the star of the drink, and the Fiery Skull, a blueberry lemonade drink with an alcoholic kick!
The food is AMAZING. My husband and I can't stop coming back - hands down our favourite restaurant in the area, and we've loved every single dish we've tried. The sweet/spicy fried chicken and loaded bulgogi fries are especially memorable.
It's also a really nice space to eat in, with unique custom-made decor and super friendly staff.
This afternoon I had an awesome feast at Vecino, a Korean Mexican fusion restaurant serving amazing Korean inspired chicken dishes in loads of different flavours and a combination of sweet, spicy, and sassy sauces. It's rare to find a fusion like Korean Mexican so we were super excited to check out Vecino in our home suburb of Canterbury. Most impressive were the very generous plates of their crispy and succulent Signature Premium Fried Chicken with flavours like sweet and spicy, teriyaki and chimichurri. Keeping the Mexican flair with that Korean twist the tacos are definitely one to order. Our favourite were the Bulgogi and Spicy Pork which were absolutely mouthwatering. For something to share (or not) get a serving of the Kimchi Bulgogi Fries and top them off with a round of Vecino's impressive selection of cocktails (try the Fiery Skull). All in all a really great place for a feed and cheeky bevvy. Highly recommended!

Vecino is a Korean Mexican fusion chicken and tacos restaurant in Canterbury. It is has one of the most unique menus I have ever seen, including a breakfast menu with typical cafe dishe as well as their signature chicken dishes and funky cocktails. We started with two of their signature margaritas, the Corona Rita: classic frozen margarita with corona and the Cruiser Rita: watermelon frozen margarita with vodka cruiser. These were beautifully presented and served with an upside down drink inside a drink, making for an interesting experience. I loved the flavours here, the slushies are perfect for a hot day.
I saw this place on IG a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to go check it out. We decided to make our way there on a Sunday afternoon and were welcomed by cool ambiance and friendly customer service. We decided to order some Kimchi mozzarella cheese balls to start and then some delicious BBQ chicken and crispy ghost spicy & snow tenderloins. Needless to say, everything was so yummy!
As for drinks, we tried the refreshing Romantic Romeo and Kiwi Bikini... so good! We can't wait to go back already!
Showed up here for a last minute, lazy Saturday dinner and had our expectations way exceeded. We got a half rosemary garlic chicken and half sweet and spicy chicken plate and loved every bite. Chicken was crunchy and coated with plenty of delicious sauce. Meat inside was tender, hot and juicy. Servings were really generous too so we left completely satisfied.
Usually we go to a well-known Korean chicken place in Strathfield to get our fix but this may well be our new favourite!
I went here at 6pm on a Sunday night and it wasn't too busy. We ordered the kimchi burrito and garlic honey fried chicken. It was a good deal to share between two people. The chicken had a strong garlic taste which I loved, maybe too strong for some, and the burritos are nice and hot! I would definitely come back again

Vecino has become a popular destination for unique tacos, fried chicken and creative cocktails - and also because their dishes look incredible!
We visited Vecino by invite and ordered:
• Honey Cream Chicken Tacos - these were a yummy way to start and one of the highlights of our meal.
• Bulgogi and Kimchi load fries with mexican additions of cheese, sour cream and a spicy hot sauce.
• Fried chicken - We tried two flavours, Rosemary Honey Garlic and Sweet Chilli. The Sweet Chilli Chicken was the best of these two, I would order this again in a heartbeat.

This Korean-Mexican fusion idea is a sound one, but it works best when they really go all-in for the fusion aspect, such as the moreish honey prawn tacos. Curiously, the fried chicken was a little darker than normal, and we weren't sure whether it was from the spices or because the chicken was fried for too long, although it still tasted great. The kimchi bulgogi fries are a good idea as well as there is the mix of spicy, sweet, sour, salty, and crunchy.
If you have a hankering for Korean food or Mexican food and can't decide between the two, Vecino is a good option.
Love this Mexican x Korean fusion concept! Their rosemary honey garlic chicken and sweet spicy chicken were delicious, soba noodle salad was so refreshing and I loved eating it together with the fried chicken. Everything was packed full of flavour and staffs were very friendly :)

The fried chicken has very crispy skin whilst the meat inside is still tender and juicy. The cocktails are INSANE, I couldn’t finish mine but it could’ve been because I was too stuffed with chicken!
The Bingsoo was also delicious, the shaved milk ice was light and fluffy with the perfect amount of matcha :)

Vecino is a fusion restaurant with Korean and Mexican influences. They definitely achieve a great balance between the two.
Located close to Canterbury Station, it makes for a convenient commute here. Service was excellent and very attentive.
The menu is large enough without being overly confusing. With the choices being succinct it was an easy decision on what to have. As most of the meals are to share we went with;
* Bulgogi Tacos
* Crispy Boneless Tenderloin Chicken (Served With Chips, Cabbage Salad And Pickled Daikon) With Teriyaki Sauce
* Soba Noodle Salad
* Hotteok Quesadilla
The favourites were the crispy chicken tenderloins. Nicely cooked with the right amount of crunch and juicy meat in the middle, you can’t go wrong with these. The teriyaki dipping sauce was just right with these. The noodle salad had a nice depth of flavour with a sweet dressing. The tofu and mushrooms have a fantastic flavour. The pomegranates add another sweet punch to the dish.
Give this place a go as well worth the trip.
Vecino is a marriage between Korean and Mexican foods. Newly opened, they’ve become quickly popular! They add their own personal twists that combine the best flavours of both and they definitely make it work!. Located within the vicinity of Canterbury Station, there is lots of street parking nearby making it handy to commute here for an excellent feed. We were warmly greeted and had excellent service throughout the night.

Their special cocktails was what attracted me to try this place. Ordered bulgogi fries- saucy and flavoursome. Prawn honey tacos- prawns were generously big and juicy, the honey sauce complimented the tacos well. And also Korean fried chicken- meat was not dry at all. Great service and awesome vibe. Would definitely travel an hour to come here again. Recommend this place for group parties or gatherings. Staff were so friendly , because it was so cold that night they offered us complimentary honey lemon tea when we left. Love a place who goes above and beyond! Vecino gave us the fusion we didn’t know we needed; korean and Mexican. They do the best korean fried chicken outside of the Sydney cbd. A gem of a place especially southwest of Sydney. We came in hungry from the gym on Saturday afternoon and ordered the assorted chicken platter which consists of 1/3 fried, 1/3teriyaki and 1/3 garlic chicken, salad and chips. The chef replaced the teriyaki with sweet spicy chicken instead and it was a winner. The skin was crispy, sweet and spicy, and the meat was tender. We decided to try the tacos and the honey cream prawn tacos was so good! Would order again/10! A fat long prawn deep fried and glazed with honey mayo... my mouth is watering as I am typing this. We also got the cheese and tomato quesadilla which was not bad but didn’t stand out as much as the chicken and honey prawn taco. To finish it all off, we had the red velvet pancake set that came with red velvet latte and I had a matcha latte. The velvet pancake had a good texture and great mouthfeel. It was the perfect amount of sweet and Vecino was generous with fresh cream and fruit. Service was attentive and the staff made all the right recommendations.

Everything was great about this place. Atmosphere, ambience, service and food was great. We got the prawn, pork and beef bulgogi tacos, various fried chicken, kimchi arancini balls and boy were they delicious! Definitely coming back to try more of the menu! Its a great joint with extensive menu and every dish was flawless. The chicken was cooked to perfection and every taco bite was delicious!
amazing. the fusion of korean x mexican is DELICIOUS... Flavourful prawn tacos and spicy fried chicken. Beautiful presentation of drinks too! Matcha was q u a l i t y. but back on the prawn tacos.. IT WAS SO GOOD legit go get some! oh and the owners are so sweet! definitely will be back, especially to try out their breakfast menu and kimchi fries. :)
The kimchi burrito with its combination of the cheesy sauce and spicy kimchi was amazing. So were the sweet and spicy and rosemary honey garlic chicken. Would rate.
Came as a guest. A rare perfect score because everything was good. Located near Canterbury Train Station this Korean Mexican fusion restaurant as a perfect mixed of fried chicken (sweet chilli and rosemary honey garlic are just so yum) tacos (spicy pork taco was packed and my fav,the honey cream prawn which is my fav dish of the night) are original but also so tasty. If you want to try someone different but also tasty,this is a must try!
This place had a great Vibe! The food was not just visually appealing but also tasted great..we would highly recommend the Red Velvet Pancakes( which blew our minds!!) and The Willy Wonka Shake and if you’re sugar craving is still not satisfied go for the Oreo Bingsu Boat! Make sure to visit this place if you’re in and around the Canterbury area!

Ever since we ate at Bon Chon in NYC over 5 years ago, Andy & I always bring up "Remember that time we had that really awesome fried chicken in New York?". Well we have finally found a local place that brings us right back to those memories! 😍
VECINO in Cantebury brings 3 of our favourite things together into the one spot; fried chicken, Mexican food & excellent coffee! They are a Korean/Mexican fusion restaurant that also serves the same coffee from the Grounds Alexandria, how good is that?! 🍗🌮☕
You definitely need to check this place out; all their furnishings were designed by their staff for a really cool edgy & industrial look. We brought all 3 girls along and the staff were absolutely lovely with the kids. You could tell the restaurant was so accommodating for parents with kids because half the people eating there had their kids with them. ❤
The smallest things like having some of their menus inserted into children books was so on point.👌
We are DEFINITELY going to be coming back again. But maybe this time we won't get overexcited and order too much food. 🤣

Been here multiple times and the food is always great. The owner is super friendly. Last time he even served me a drink while I waited for my take away. Dine in if you can, the cocktails and atmosphere is worth drinking in.

Nice Korean Mexican fusion restaurant in the Canterbury neighborhood. The food is tasty with decent portion. The cocktails are pretty interesting too.
Some of the best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had! The batter is thin and crispy and the meat so so so juicy. I don’t understand how it stays so moist. They also have this sweet and spicy sauce that goes super well with the chicken. Definitely a must try.
