Busy restaurant but worth the wait. Great to see staff (maybe owner and family?) smiling and being so courteous - Lady Chef visited from the kitchen a couple of times just checking that everyone was happy. We were. We had the shared platter - excellent portion size, steak was good - best mushroom sauce had in awhile. All round a very pleasant night - we will be back :) THANK YOU.

This is a family owned and run business and it is excellent. As soon as you walk in you can smell the lovely aroma. The steaks there are to die for and the service is second to none. Very friendly people who will bend over backwards for the customer. Thankyou for a lovely meal and experience :-)

We went as a couple on Wednesday evening on a Groupon voucher. We have been quite a few times now. I have always found staff attentive and friendly. The owner -Mark always takes time to meet all guests and has a brief chat with them. He is happy to explain all of the menu. The feast platter is awesome. Plenty for two. The dessert - date sponge we know is made by Mark's wife, is so light and do tasty. This time we were offered cheesecake in the deal. It was mango and passionftuit and was amazing. I highly recommend a visit here. The African theme decor is fascinating too.

Fabulous place . Excellent service. Food excellent . We were on holiday staying with friends staying in jundaloop. They booked it . Our first time eating South African food. We had the share platter for 4 . More than enough . Then sweets were also as good . Hope to.go back next time in Australia.

Had a table booked for 15 for a birthday celebration, been here a few times, the atmosphere of the place itself is amazing, friendly helpful staff and always busy when I've been there, service is a little slow on waiting for meals to come out but in saying that when it arrives it has never been a disappointment, plus it's better than having your meal pushed out too quickly so that your pushed in and out to have the table back, I love this place one of my favourites

My hubby and I had a meal here last night. We shared The Tribal Feast. The food was amazing, very tasty and lots to eat! The home made desserts were delicious. Mark the owner made us so welcome from the minute we walked in the door and we had a good chat during the evening. Staff were all great! We will be recommending to our friends and family and will most definately be back with our family in the near future.

This is an absolutely great place. For those that are from Africa is brings back lots of memories. For others it is a great place to try new food.

Great inside so don’t let the frontage turn you away (could do with more enticing frontage/signage to do it justice). Inside is what matters the most and we did get looked after very well. Very attentive service with a smile from all team members, great family friendly place, clean & tidy (even the kids area). Food was great value for money, they also have a good variety of drinks available. Well done guys and thank you for a great family lunch!

Finally somewhere that gets steak right and doesn't charge you north of $100 for the privilege . Really enjoyed it and the 5*'s are more than deserved . Great attentive staff , not too rushed , explaining specials as they go along. The ribs were some of the best I've had , reminds me of the notice in some US rib joints I've been to . . "If it doesn't slide off the bone it's free" The side sauces were good (I'll pay you extra for the salsa recipe) . . . I don't drink coffee but was told it was also high standard.

A great family friendly restaurant for kids with an indoor play area and arcade. My steak had a really nice basting to it and was cooked exactly to my liking. Service was also excellent, very attentive staff.

Spent a lovely evening with friends enjoying steak with the best onion rings in town and chips, chicken schnitzel and onion rings and salad. Great value was too full to enjoy dessert or even coffee. Only downfall was we had to vacate our table at 9 and really was a downer on that level, but did enjoy our meals and everything was right cooked as we asked. Definitely worth a visit whether once or multiple times

Absolutely fabulous! Dinner out as a social night for our work team was made perfect by outstanding food, quick and efficient service (sorry we worked you all so hard!) and the only complaint from anyone was that they ate too much :D The waffles are the best!! Thanks for a great night. We've already pencilled in our next night out for steak and chicken and those onion rings (!) and icecream and brownies and waffles.

Really good service and food. Annie was our waitress and she was amazing, really did her job well. The food served was divine. The steak was cooked perfectly and the ribs were falling off the bone. Would definitely recommend.

The crumbed mushrooms and wings were awesome. The pork ribs were awesome. However, the chicken burger was a bit dry nad the bun was too big, too much bread. But I'd go back for the other menu items. Kids playground area is cool too (and sound proof!)
