Review Thai Bay - Caringbah

Good Thai food, reasonable prices. Green curry was good and NOT spicy at all by default which is great for anyone who doesn’t like spicy/hot Thai dishes even when the staff say the dish isn’t spicy (but it is hot) The money bags as noted by other reviewers are very good. Crunchy and flavourful filling

Entree’s and soup were well presented and flavoursome. Main courses were lacking in size and quality. Ordered the yellow turmeric curry with duck. The duck was chewy, it tasted reheated and not fresh. Told the waitress to pass on our disappointment to the kitchen and there was no response until asked and they just apologised.

Restaurant near empty (3 couples) ordered quickly, yet my partners food comes out and 15-20 mins later still no sign of my food (yet other tables all served). It doesn’t click for the waiter when I asked how much longer, he goes to check and finds out they never cooked it. Cancelled the order as they hadn’t started making it, I mentioned it would have been nice to have known that 15 mins ago as now my partners food is cold. He said yea sorry, shrugged his shoulders and walked off.. Spoke with another lady when paying and again the indifference of a customer relaying a poor experience was astounding. Totally dismissed and didn’t care, just wanted the money to be paid. I don’t get the rave reviews when the food (from the 2 dishes that were actually cooked) were soggy and not a Thai curry at all. Customer service is non-existent. There is way better thai food in the shire than this one.

Horrible customer service. Empty restaurant so we ordered quickly, my food came out but after 15mins my food still hadn’t arrived. Only after asking where my food was we were told that they hadn’t made it.

Really awesome local restaurant to have. Generous portions to well priced food. The byo option makes it a really good alternative to having to do a large dinner with people in your own house. Keep up the good work team!

Food was overall good. Nice flavours but wish the curries were abit more spicy. Good for take out

This restaurant is consistently great. It's large and can get a bit noisy on weekends due to it's popularity. Quality food at reasonable prices with friendly staff. Easy parking with a council carport within 5 mins walking. Highly recommended.

Literally took an hour (timed it) for two main meals, I had to go up the to staff and ask when they plan on bringing out our food, they had to fast order our food keeping in mind it’s a Tuesday night. The pad Thai was decent but not worth the wait, the curry came out warm on the verge of being cold, the only decent thing was the rice plain which was the tastiest thing in the entire sitting. If you want to eat here I recommend getting take away as it usually takes exactly 1/3 of the time to get to your home.

A small but quaint little thai place with friendly staff. Food came out quickly and was delicious! Also pretty cheap considering the large portion sizes. Overall a very good experience.

Brilliant food and great service! The owners are very friendly and nice to talk to, as well as all the other staff. Albeit, it does get quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays and fairly noisy. So if you're looking for a quiet night out, I'd suggest going other days!

We had a very pleasant Thursday night 14 January at Thai Bay. Local for us and the girls are so friendly and welcoming. We will come back for some really nice dishes. Here goes:<br/>1. Thai style duck with baby corn, red onions, shallots and roasted chilly in a chilly jam sauce.<br/>2. Grilled marinated lamb with garlic and pepper sauce.<br/>Pictures attached! And we can recommend Thai Bay

Good Views. This restaurant is perched up high and has nice views over the bay. The food is always nice and the staff friendly.
