Review Bohemian Beer Cafe - Caringbah

Great value, nice fit out and good service. 8 in our group, we shared a couple of tasting plates and all had a main each, all good. Excellent selection of beers and good wine list. Will definitely go back.

We had a great meal at the cafe, enjoyed everything- duck, pork knuckle, beef, schnitzel  and tasting plate entree as well as beers. We arrived at 7pm and were enjoying ourselves but before 9pm the waitresses packed up and put up all the chairs on the tables that weren't occupied. Some patrons left at this point. We hadn't had dessert or coffee but we were certainly told by these actions and the fact that they didn't ask us if we wanted anything more that they wanted us out. I couldn't understand why but on telling friends they told us that they had a similar experience. This was disappointing and has probably impacted on the restaurants business as well.

This was lucky to get a 2 rating. Went on a (busy) Saturday night for a family birthday dinner and it was disappointing. They were understaffed, and it was noticeable when it took us 15 mins to order a drink, and another 15 to receive it. The 2 front of house staff members were apologetic but it left a bad taste (not just from our poor excuse of food) but when the boss was yelling at one in front of the restaurant. A basic chicken parmigiana, was overlooked and lacked flavour. Another meal, the risotto had barely any rice (a main component). We were quick to leave and unfortunately I don't think we will try this place again.

I've been here a few times and each time doesn't disappoint. Great food, I recommend the braised beef cheeks, very friendly service and reasonably priced. Bohemian Cafe is a fantastic addition to Caringbah. Have and will be recommending to friends.

Went here with a few friends looking to try somewhere new and was pleasantly surprised. My take on it this restaurant is that it serves Modern and German/European Cuisine. Between us we had some arancini balls, tapas plates, chicken sliders and chicken schnitzel. All of the food was good quality and delicious. The service was good, no negatives there and the restaurant was a good size and had a somewhat elegant feel to it. They also had several beers on tap, including blue moon and yenda which were both great. My favourite dish was probably the schnitzel, they were quite big as well as being good quality chicken. I would definitely recommend giving this place a go!

I went here with three girlfriends last night and was very disappointed with the service and the food. The waitress was slow to take our orders and very inattentive. The duck main was over cooked and they sold out of coffee beans so we couldn't have coffee or affogatto which was listed on the menu. Won't be going back.

Apart from Caringbah Hotel this is the only place you can have dinner together with beer on tap. Menu is simple but food is surprisingly very good and cheap - the best value around. They need to work on ambience but everything else is just great. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

popped in for a quick beer and some food. we had the lamb risotto special and the pork knuckle. both were pretty good, the mashed potato was especially creamy and delicious. we washed these down with two of the Yenda beers, an IPA and a lager, neither were to my taste but there are plenty of options on offer. <br/>this place is a nice addition to caringbah. I would recommend to a friend.
