After some extremely high priced meals for either small portions or basic food we found this little gem just around the corner. As it's named a Cafe I assumed it was only opened for breakfast and lunch but much to our surprise it was a very busy authentic style b.y.o. also opened for dinner. By far the best value, best tasting and best quality we had in Perth. We dined at "fine" establishments (Cocos) and cheaper restaurants (Sizzler), but this one outshined them all in price and taste. Large meals, quick and friendly service and an awesome dessert display. Definitely my new favourite in Perth.
Just recently moved into the neighbourhood and instantly heard great things about this joint. Dropped in last night and ordered a Gianni pizza and all I can say is wow. Outstanding service and the pizza was superlative! The pizza chef was even professional enough to come out and shake my hand after I finished my meal, something I've never experienced before. I'll be back soon!
We are regulars of Bella Rosa. We have been for both dine in and take away. We love that the owner is so hands in in her business. The staff are very friendly yet professional. We can not fault the service. We wven had the pleasure of booking their function room recently. We were able to decorate it and it was perfect for my sons 2nd birthday dinner with our family. They are incredibly kid friendly and accommodating for many different dietry requirements. Most importantly, the food is always amazing. The dishes all come out close together to the table, the serving sizes are always incredibly genrous and they will provide take away containers if you cant finish your meal. While the restaurant is BYO they do provide beer. There ia no corkage fee on your wine which is rare in most restaurants these days. Lastly, ita very good value for money- breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We will be back for sure.

I love this restaurant. Im always the last to leave. Mine hosts Anne and Angelo are the best and the staff Jake, Marie Lina and the others ( whose names i dont know) are so professional and friendly. Whenever i have family or friends visiting from interstate it is the first restaurant i rake them to and they love it too.
I was served by a tall dark handsome young man, who's name I believe was jake? but I can't remember properly but either way he was so fantastic at doing his job. I ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection and the mushroom sauce was to die for , their service was amazing and I will be going back for sure 😋 Best food in vic park!

Have been coming here for years and is still a favourite. Whether for breakfast (eggs benedict - their hollandaise will not disappoint), or for pasta or a parmigiana, Bella Rosa consistently delivers and keeps me coming back. The owner and all staff are so friendly, and the portion sizes are huge. Slightly pricey given the location, but the portion sizes and quality warrant it.
Recommend the pasta bella rosa.
We regularly get takeaway from Bella Rosa and it never disappoints. Big portions and always tasty - my ‘go to’ is the pasta Bella Rosa with combination sauce, and it comes with fresh bread and a pot of Parmesan.

Absolutely amazing food! I’ve eaten their pizzas multiple times and I am in love with the quality, flavour and taste. Unfortunately I haven’t tried much else apart from the pizzas so I couldn’t comment on anything else. I do feel they could do with an interior renovation at the Carlisle restaurant
We went to Bella Rosa on Saturday night with friends .The food was amazing .The waiter (Simon) nothing to much trouble for him .He was very good with the kids even gave them an Ice cream .He was so happy going about his job, We loved the service & the hole atmosphere was delightful .Thank you Bella Rosa
The chicken Florentine is absolutely amazing. The chicken is always so tender and juicy, and I order mine with vegetables which are always cooked very well. It's a great spot although is very noisy.

My beau wants to take me out for dinner as a birthday treat and I know that he wanted Italian. We normally go somewhere far from southern suburb for Italian restaurant so I told him I want somewhere close and as soon as we're searching on google, cafe Bella rosa popped up with 4 or 5 star rating so me and him gave it a shot.. at first we order bruschetta with feta cheese and it was pretty damn good!! For our mains, he ordered marinara and he was very impressed about the taste and for me I ordered the home-made ravioli in Napoletana sauce!! Perfect combo!! We were supposed to ask some bread to scrape the left over sauce but unfortabely our belly hits it's limit so we ask for take away instead!! 😂 and I find the price quite cheaper compare to all Italian restaurants I've been.. definitely going back to taste more of their pasta!!

Looked at going to another nearby Italian restaurant but it was booked out. This was the alternative. Wasn't sure about trying but surprisingly really yummy. Big serving of pasta but the pizza bread was a bit dry. BYO wine.
The host/owner is such a friendly lady, she greets everyone like they are regular customers. The spaghetti marinara is a favourite, the rest of the Italian choices are done well. the take away coffee is so cheap and tastes great! a great family restaurant.
Tried Bella Rosa for Saturday AM breakfast and we were very impressed. The service was very quick, friendly & accurate. The menu had a good selection of usuals plus some nice Italian twists like Calabrase eggs. Portions were generous, food was hot and service quick. Coffee was also excellent.

Not a fan of suburban Italian in general but if you want giant serves of everything, a stock standard Italian menu (usual starters, parmigiana, pizza, pasta, cannoli etc), things that come with 'chips & salad' or 'chips & veg' & overall well cooked food then this is for you. Good for its genre.

Very efficient service given the size of the restaurant. We went at 8.30pm at night and it was still packed and buzzing! They're popular yet they still take people in after 9pm and don't rush you out the door.
The Chicken Parmigiana is probably the best I've ever had and similarly, the Veal Scallopini was sooo nice and creamy. Also loved how thinly sliced the sausage (entrée) was, it was delicious.

Went there on what was a fairly busy Saturday night. There was no music and people were talking very loud and screaming kids everywhere (none of which is the restaurants fault) they took our order fairly quickly and our entree of garlic bread came out fairly soon, the garlic bread was everything you could ask for, crunchy and buttery. The main took a very,very long time around 45 minutes for 2 of us, both pasta. Although being dissatisfied with the wait that pasta was the most authentic we've had in Perth. It tasted hot and fresh and were happy to wait after eating, it was filling, full of flavour and all you could ask for. Will be going back, but perhaps on a weekday :)

I went to Bella Rosa last night with family for dinner. There were 12 of us including two kids.
After disappointingly discovering our local Inglewood and Mt Lawley favourite Italian restaurants were closed on Monday nights...my cousin suggested we try Bella Rosa. He had visited the cafe on a number of occasions, but only for breakfast. which he said was really good.
Well, it was worth the trip across town. What a great find for dinner! Everyone loved it.
Every meal was fantastic - I mean every single one! The bruschetta and antipasto were very good to start and the pasta and mains were even better.
Collectively we ordered a good selection of different pastas and mains including steak and veal dishes. My veal scallopine in cream and wine sauce with spaghetti napoletana was really fantastic - tender, perfectly cooked veal and great sauce.
The value is excellent. Well priced meals with very generous serves of good quality food with well cooked pasta and very tasty, fresh sauces.
The kids were happy as there was an Il Gelato bar too.

Neighbourhood Gem!. I've been here many times for dinner now and each time I've been impressed! It is an authentic Italian restaurant and the atmosphere is homey and relaxed. Great food, friendly attentive service and fairly priced. Last time we arrived very late and couldn’t decide what to order. The staff weren’t bothered at all and were very accommodating and patient, even offering suggestions on their favourite dishes. Couldn’t be happier.
Went to cafe Bella rosa for the first time last night. It was really busy for a Wednesday night. The food was good but it didn't knock my sox off. I thought my tortellini was a little underdone and the seafood sauce a little watery. I would go back but would not drive out of my way to go here!

Best italian in the area. By far the best italian restaurant i have been to in a long time. it is true italian from the moment you walk through the door- homey, relaxed, friendly and delicious. So glad we found this place-hidden gem. As soon as you walk in your greeted with an eccentric hello from who i assume be the owner (real italian, loud and out there). the "head waiter" is then directed to take you to the table of your choice ("ill follow you" as he said). I love that! we are then given bottled water promptly along with menus, glasses, cutlery etc. He even opens your champas for you and pours it with one arm behind his back! love it! flash for a cafe. the food was exceptional. the scotch you could literally suck through a straw thats how perfect it was (according to my husband-wouldnt let me try), my italian sausage pasta was devine. the flavours were "jam-packed" and by far true italian. and dont get me started on the tiramasu. This place is genius. it has the basics covered and nothing seems too much. i love that. they seem to be willing to do whatever it is you want to keep you happy. i now understand why this place does so well and i recommend it to anyone and everyone who loves real italian.
Faultless. Me and my family had a fantastic time tonight. From the service to the food and even all the other customers who were there. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The staff there are genuinely happy and make the whole experience something special. I haven't even started on the food. Oh my god it was so bloody delicious. We didn't want any to go to waste so once we were full full full we took our leftovers home. And finally, the owner was such a lovely lady who just helped top off a great time. Thanks to all you guys there! Everyone needs to try this place.

They stuffed up our order as we requested no meat and got chicken but the staff were very helpful and got it sorted straight away. The lady herself apologised so much as you could tell this rarely happens at this restaurant.
I like it, especially the service. I was pleasantly surprise coming here one night. Driven past it a few times, always seems to be busy... never had the opportunity to drop in.... we did the other night.... I must say we were welcomed with open arms...we enjoyed pastas and it was tasty and filling... reasonably priced... I was overall impressed with the service... I would go again.... thumbs up!

Good food...service has changed, and needs to change back. Went again last night (wednesday) for dinner. and the food is generally up to scratch. you pay for what you get. the food is of highish quality but for $25 for a steak you cant expect 130 day aged grain fed wagyu. nevertheless. had a steak last night and it was good as was the sauce. the service on the other hand. well its obviously changed the staff because i did not recognise anyone of them last night. the owner is still there and still delightful as ever. the manager looks like hes gone because ive come in the last 3 times and he hasnt been there. the new manager (a very tall euro kid) well obviously you need to reconsider your job. thank goodness the food was good but. there was however a sweet blonde who mind you was quite a little stunner. id come back just to see her (i hope thats appropriate on here). i rate 7 for the food, 4 for the service (used to be an 8), 7 for the atmosphere.
Always Enjoyable. I had a disappointing experience here a few years back, and I wrote a negative review afterwards. Yet, given how close it is to my home, and given also that I had always enjoyed the food there previously, I have continued to visit Bella Rosa on a semi-regular basis over the years.
The owner is always unfailingly lovely when I see her, and goes out of her way to make us feel welcome. The food is always good, and keeps us coming back. It can be noisy at times, but that's what you get in a well-populated family restaurant. I think they're doing a good job, they add a lot to the location, and I am always happy to visit them.
Best coffee. This is the place to go for a regular morning coffee! While i dont live in the area, i try to make sure that i come here whenever i can for my daily dose. It produces one of the best cuppas in perth and the place always seems to be steady with their constant flow of followers. Ive been a couple of times for a weekend breakfast and it too is really good. i love the familiar faces of the barristers and the fact that they know my coffee order before i even get the chance to say hello. highly recommend
Have never dined in but live just around the corner and whenever I'm craving good authentic Italian I just ring up and order to pick it up and it's always ready within 15 minutes. Awesome food! Awesome service! Will definitely be a regular here as long as I'm in the neighbourhood =)
Lovely food... but really!? Where is your customer service!?! Packing up and closing windows, slamming dishes etc. at 8:40pm when you are "open to late". Appalled.., no wonder we haven't visited in 4 years! Chef and food great, but floor staff poor! Shouting over restsurant and music. Not impressed!

Best Service. Went for the first time on friday night, and i have to hand it to this place, it is absolutely brilliant. Food was so delicious as too was the coffee, staff were incredibly efficient and ultra friendly and well insync and atmosphere was pumping especially with the chrissy tunes. being only a small place, i dont expect 5 star service but rather a chaotic mess especially being so busy. But not here, everything was spot on!! Fantastic experience. only slight fault might be how loud it gets (with reference to older diners) especially when everyone is yelling in particular the matradee
Fantastic!. Went there with my girlfriend for the first time tonight, got a table quickly, awesome service by all staff!! Food was delicious, we both had pasta which was spiced and cooked to perfection. 10/10 will be going again.
Impressive. Came the last two tuesdays now in a row and am really impressed by this little place. Last tuesday the place seemed fairly steady and the staff (which mind you was only a couple) were extremely friendly and delightful. Tonight it was a packed house and the staff (again only a couple) were on the ball and fast yet accurate. Rather impressed how quick they are with such a busy restaurant and such few waiters. The food is so tasty and the flavours are intensely delicious and so consistent and reliable as both nights the food was top notch without fail, love the marsala sauce. A must try and look forward to coming back.
Fantastic Service. I booked the restaurant to have an end of year get together for my workmates on the 5th of December. I was extremely impressed with how accommodating the restaurant was. Their standard of food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I loved the fact that we could byo alcohol and also that if we couldn't eat all of our meal that we could take it away with us. I also loved the fact that they allowed us to pay separately which is very kind of them when we had such a large group of us. Their service was fantastic and all of my workmates commented on how good a night they had. Thank you Cafe Bella Rosa, we will definitely be back!
Love it here. The food is reasonably priced and the serving sizes are generous. It is quite crammed in the restaurant however they are in the middle of renovating and extending. This does not disrupt the quality of service. Can highly recommend the chicken Marsala and the fettuccine bella rosa in a combination sauce. Both were faultless. Keep coming back over and over and have never had a bad meal. Highly recommended
Nice; a tight squeeze, watch your BYO!. Very impressive family restaurant - certainly a tight squeeze when at least 3 large families are celebrating birthdays! However, the friendly staff were very accomodating and the food quite nice (though my daughter wasn't impressed with the fish, so she happily attacked my delicious chilli squid). What did not impress us was that when we went to retrieve our 2/3 bottle of fancy (ie. not cheap) white wine, the bottle had been 'taken'. This denial of its whereabouts dampened our night particularly as we both work in the service industry and this may impact upon intentions of returning. An apology at least would have been nice, particularly since the staff were very engaging and helpful.
Great little restaurant.. I have been coming to Bella Rosa since it opened in Carlisle and beforehand when it was in Victoria Park.
It is a great family owned restaurant. It is always busy, whether you are there for breakfast or dinner, grabbing a coffee or picking up takeaway. The meals are worth your money and the wait. My favourite would have to be the Chilli Mussels and Chilli Squid. The desserts are to die for too.
While I really do think customer service is super important, we were being asked by a different person every 2-5 minutes whether we needed a drink or wanted to order. The waiters were friendly and the food was great but a bit of organisation on who was waiting which table would've been better, as my partner was getting very frustrated with being asked if we ordered drinks by 3 different people in the space of 5-10 minutes when we had already ordered. A bit of organisation and reading customer body language would go a long way, we will call you when we need you.
Zoom zoom yum yum. Came for dinner on monday night and loved it so much we went again last night and god its good (and busy). service is on the ball and while the waiteress on both nights were rather young, they knew what they were doing and were really sweet. Got our food out to us in a jiffy and the quality and flavours is so lovely. Chef knows what he/she is doing too and both front of house and kitchen seem to work well together. gelato just compliments a yummy dinner @bellarosa. Manager was also very polite and professional and ensured we enjoyed our dinner and experience on both nights and too made sure we were looked after. might go again on the weekend :)
Efficient yet friendly. Came last night and just have to say how good it was. arrived at around 7pm, and felt special from the start. The food is well just absolutly fantastic and such good value and such huge servings. the service is well, what i can regard as some of the fastest, most efficient and yet also the most friendly and welcoming i have ever seen out in perth, its like they were on zertac or got trained by a mazda zoom zoom ad haha (so fast and prompt). i cant commend enough how good they are. They were so lovely and just enhance the experience of the restaurant. I recommend the pasta with scallops and creamy wine. cant wait to come again. a must try.
MMmmmmmmm. I order a pizza, Parma and prawns.. All delicious and we had nothing to return to the kitchen. I brought in my own wine, I felt at home,away from home without the (everyone eats the same) meal.
The waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was not overfilling and settle contently. No wastage or looking for more. I couldn't resist from ordering a cake, which was shared by three. Hmmm I still think about it. The coffee and hot chololate was enjoyable. Overall 9/10. Absolutely enjoyable.
So sweet! and the best night!. Came in on Wednesday night for my girlfriends birthday! And just have to say we had the best time. The food was so good and such large portions that no one could even finish their food and we girls know how to eat! Love the BYO bit so we can drink whatever we want and the separate billing is so handy! The service is so fun and good. Our waiter was so cute and attentive and even came out with the waitresses to sing Happy Birthday and made it so special by having the lights and music turned off and the entire restaurant singing along. It really was so nice of them and made the night so special. Never forget it! And found a new place to love!

Open plan inside so when's its busy yes it'll get a little noisy but nothing from the norm. I don't think it wants to sell itself as high end, it's tasty everyday food, great service & consist good value. Oh and it stays open all day, super breakfast too!!

Belissimo bella rosa. Being someone whose worked in hospitality I expected Friday night to be a busy night and I expect a couple of hiccups along the way. Well not here. Our waitress, a lovely red head was just gorgeous and was rather efficient as well courteous. Our entrees came out also rather quick which too shows efficiency and were delicious as too were the Mains. I can understand why this place is so efficient. The managers are so on the ball that you can just tell they are making sure everything is going according to plan and any slight error is amended immediately. So with on the ball efficiency by both the front of house and kitchen you can see why this place just works so well and why it's so busy. Absolutely beautiful food, some of the best service I've experienced and rich aromatic coffee. This place is definitely a hit for a reason.
Wow yummy food and adorable service = great find. Went there last night (monday) at around 6:45 and the place was packed and i completely understand why. Unbelievably good valued and tasty food and one of the best italian in the Vic Park area. Maybe it was beginners luck but i must say we thoroughly enjoyed our food. As soon as you walk in the Managers both warmly greet you as well as both our waitresses being so bubbly and lovely and really looked after our every need and requests. And watching them all work so well and hard just shows why this place is busy, great teamwork. The mushroom sauce on that scallopini i swear is to die for. All in all a great find and cant wait to go back.
This has become one of our new locals and we love it. Im italian and can confidently claim they make one of the best chilli mussels and marinara sauces ive ever had. The staff are always welcoming and willing to cater for your needs, we have a 1yr old and they always give her colouring books and pencils. Its always busy and noisey but its because everyones enjoying themselves. We always have family birthday dinners there too and everyone usually joins in. The only negative is when we had take away pizzas they were far too oily and soggy but overall flavours were delicious. Always generous servings. Try it out!

The "calabrese" is the most amazing breakfast you will ever try. Such intense flavour and a great spin on a traditional bacon and eggs on toast. A+++++
Lovely. Dragged myself and a couple of friends here on a Sunday afternoon after a boozy Saturday night. The lady (manager?) was so lovely as soon as we walked in. Ordered salads all round, absolutely beautiful, and very large portions, lots of chicken too not just salad leaves. All food going to tables looked amazing and fantastic service. Deffinatly going here again
Cute. Went there for breakfast this nice sunny but cold morning. Food prices are pretty reasonable, coffee was very nice, $4 for a long macchiato. I had fried eggs on nice crispy toast with smoked salmon (salmon was an extra for $4, not bad really!). The lady who served us was very pleasant and even brought over a large bottle of water and two glasses when she saw my friend and I had settled into a long conversation. Glad that soon I will be living nearby :)
Best breakfast in perth. Love coming to bella rosa especially for weekend breakfast, the omelettes are so good! came in once again this morning and just find it always so consistent. the regular staff are always so good and cheerful and just compliment a superb meal. exceptional breakfast/food, brilliant service and delicious coffee, what more can you want. Had breakfast here 8am on a Sunday and I enjoyed every bite! In relation to my meal very satisfied, I had the caprese breakfast and would recommend. Plenty of bacon but at first I was like where are the eggs but you will see they were in my amazing caprese sauce!
Coffee was pleasant and I knew I would not need to do the Mocha test here. Though I would recommend you go here mainly for the food (coffee was still very good through ;).

Had a big family dinner here and it was really good. I loved my schnitzel with mushroom sauce and had similar great reviews from family sitting with me. Serves are generous, prices are reasonable and service is good. No complaints - really enjoyed it. Well done.
Food is always pretty tasty here, I think I've ordered something different every time I've been and haven't been disappointed. I had the rump with pepper sauce, and it's probably the first time in the last 10 years that there were actual peppercorns in the sauce, and was very tasty.
My wife always gets the beef ravioli and shares that with our son. Servings are really big.
The only thing that brings the experience down is the lady who owns the place always seems to be on her phone or having a personal conversation with someone when it's time to pay, or when you're ordering takeaway.
Foods are nice and very friendly staff. We order pizza and seafood pasta, due to allergy to the sauce which is tomato base it was change to a white sauce for the pizza and garlic oil for the pasta. Service was very slow and we waited for an hour for our food. But it was good. Will go back for another time and see if service has improved.
