The Indian here is by far the best I've had. Everything is deliciously rich without being super heavy on the stomach and you leave feeling full and not sick.
The butter chicken had a great, rich tomato flavour that I've not yet found anywhere else and the goat curry is perfectly spiced and super moreish. Can't wait to come back to try out ever more. Also fantastic value for the quality of food you get.
Excellent service and staff. One of the best experiences in an Indian restaurant in Melbourne.
The best Indian food I’ve had in a very long time. Would definitely be back!
I was visiting some family and they decided to take me to their local haunt. The food was so authentic and tasty. Wow
Amazing food. Great customer service. I would definitely recommend this place.
I live near this place and think I'm very lucky to be able to get Indian food at this level. Very yummy
When your out in the burbs this is the place to go to. Delicious and traditional Indian food. I tried a couple of different dishes - butter chicken and the Rogan josh paired with rice. They had such great flavours.
We dine in here every week. The establishment is spotless, food is absolutely the best Indian we have eaten and the staff are always friendly and accommodating.
One of, if not the best indian restaurants in Melbourne- and a cut well above Priya's already excellent usual standards. The Priya name has hosted an abundance of memories and culinary experiences that epitomize the sheer quality that can be produced from a restaurant. From the outset of our visit, we were met by the best service in a long while. Friendly, conversational attendants who genuinely believe in their own food, and match it with prestige service.
We ordered today the Chicken Tandoori Briyani, Butter chicken, garlic naan, the naan with cottage cheese and other fillings, with a side of yoghurt. Let's start with the best- the butter chicken. Classic, cant-go-wrong choice at all Indian restaurants and Priya does it best. A sweet, aromatic, juicy, tender meat with curry that is rich and thick with flavour. Genuinely a timeless classic especially here. The Chicken Briyani was also phenomenal. Mild spice was just right, with the variety of spices infused together to draw out a culmination of flavours with the tandoori chicken that simply has to be tried to be understood. Accompanied with a flavoured yoghurt and you have yourself an almighty meal. The naans were equal in exceptional taste. Soft, yet mounted with flavours that pair so well with the sauces, curries, rice and meat. The yoghurt on the side was good too- albeit a small fish amongst such spectacular choices.
This meal had us shaking our heads each bite with how unbelievably good it was. Expect a really busy restaurant especially on Saturday nights, but the service, food, and ambience make any wait time worthwhile.
