Review Kokko Maria - Carrara

Visiting from Melbourne. My first time visiting Kokko Maria and safe to say I will be back. Berge was extremely friendly and helpful the entire time. I ordered an iced mocha with oat milk along with an almond croissant. The last time I enjoyed an almond croissant this good was overseas. Highly recommend coming here, and I look forward to returning for the lunch menu!

Today I enjoyed the most delicious chicken, mushroom and leek pie with a warm salad of brown rice, roasted sweet potato and cranberries. There's a lovely shaded outdoor area looking over the lake which provides a refreshing cool breeze. Such a pleasant place to catch up with old friends

The service is awful. The cashier at the front, both the girl and the man, poor attitude. So notorious they hate their jobs. The only worthy thing is the overview. The breakfast is tasteless. Don't waste your money. By the way, look at the other reviews. I am telling my experience. It would help you deal with critics being more professionals instead of accusing them of defamation. I love the atmosphere here and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The flavour combinations of the food are delicious. The extra food items on sale are always unique and fun to browse through. I am known there to always go back for my honey!

Very nice place, had afternoon tea there. A lovely apple pie with cream and my usual small, strong, skinny latte - both of which were very good. I would go there again, when in the area.

We have lovely coffee normally a couple of times a week here. Great venue, bathed in sunshine and overlooking the lake, hard to beat on a cool winter's morning. Thanks Berge and Maria

Waited 30 minutes for chai latte. Nothing to say that it would be a wait. Waited another half hour for a simple aćai bowl. Met with rudeness. Don't think I'll go again. It wasn't an enjoyable experience as a customer.

This is my local coffee shop, open seven days and week. I'm there most days for breakfast or coffee! Berge makes the most wonderful coffee and Maria serves good, honest, tasty homemade food! I love their Smashed Avocado on Olive Sourdough - it comes with feta cheese, dukkah and oil! It's a great community meeting place and definitely worth a visit from locals and visitors!

Everyone should visit Koko Maria emerald lakes. Highly recommend. One of the best.

Delicious deli style food cooked with love. Can't go past ordering the spanikopita on each visit. It's that good. Keep coming back. Great place to meet friends and have a decent coffee too.

What a gorgeous cafe/deli. I feel like I'm somewhere in Italy or France. Great service and delicious food. I will definitely be back to buy some deli supplies...cheeses, dips, olives, gourmet pastries, nougat, organic tea and coffee beans at great prices. Perfect.

Kokko Maria Awesome service, home cooked dishes that take you back to the taste of real traditional food. Awesome presentation and Amazing coffee, a real asset to Emerald lakes and the Gold Coast.

Kokko Maria Restaurant put on a Mediterranean night which turned out great. I hadn't been before and really enjoyed the friendliness of Maria and her hubby. Food was great. Will be going again.

Best coffee I've ever had. .....try it you won't be disappointed they use a Melbourne coffee called coffex.
