Mostly a positive experience at Sands Hotel. The wait staff were good, they seated us quickly and in a good location. Orders taken and food arrived fairly quickly. The kid’s food arrived first which was good and the others arrived promptly after.
Food is ok. But service is poor. Stay in Hotel and have dinner in the restaurant. One time, after dinner they forgot my dessert. Other time, after order I wait over one hour until l ask for. It’s normal week day and not busy time.
Caught up with a buddy here today decided to order Nasi Goreng with chicken and that reminded us both of eating out in Asia a bit of a trip down memory lane 😀 I have to mention that the chef was spot on with the dish it was truly authentic tasting and I'm definitely coming back to try something else
I was here for a friend's birthday celebration. The venue looked less than inviting. What a wonderful surprise it was. The food was exceptional, I listened as everyone there raved about how good their meal was.

Let's not get carried away, it's a pokies pub. So what do you get ... Plenty of parking, good pub food, kids play ground, seniors menu with variety, relaxed atmosphere, a solid sports bar.

Very Tasty food. Good quick service. Not bad prices.
Seating well spaced, so you don't feel crushed in.
Went for dinner with a booking for 2.
Had to wait 4-5 minutes at the door to be seated. Had 3 staff glance over but didn't acknowledge us as they walked by.
When we were finally served the staff member said "Do you have a booking?" Nothing else. No "hello" or "sorry about the wait"
