Review Three Beans - Castle Hill

Located inside Castle Towers, this Cafe can be found near events gold cinema. They have seating area inside and outside of the cafe. Love the relaxing ambience throughout. The dishes we ordered came pretty quickly (went there for a weekday lunch). We had: Pancakes (tastes better than it looks) Vegetable Stack (didn’t disappoint) Japanese Chicken Bowl (absolutely delicious! My personal favourite) Their coffee and malabar chai were great too.

Nice little space although a lot of couples will be forced to sit in the doorway where it feels like you're half sitting on the shopping centre concourse. I ordered lamb wrap, which was presented nicely, however tasted a bit bland. Wife ordered green breakfast bowl which was nice and simple though missing a bit of character (felt like I could of slapped it together at home.

Great casual atmosphere that attracts a wide variety of clientele. The staff are friendly & really helpful. The food is great & the prices are reasonable. We have been here several times & will be back, for sure.

SHOCKING SERVICE. My husband and I had a very bad experience at Three Beans Cafe today. We arrived at 3PM and asked if the kitchen was still open. On being told Yes, we ordered lunch to eat in store. The food took long to arrive. At 3.30PM we were busy eating when we were approached by staff and told we had 5 minutes to eat and leave as they were closing. We were shocked at the rudeness. We paid for our food in good faith when we ordered and didn't even get to finish eating. Even my tea was left unfinished. Can't believe small business owners operate like this after coming out of lockdown.

The service was kinda slow, but food was appetising and filling for the price. Although, the glasses offered for water were not cleaned and needed to be cleaned ourselves. Great place for a early brekkie since this place opens earlier than most places.

Tried this healthy green bowl. Avocado was fresh, so was the quinoa and kale. Halloumi could've been grilled more for that special crunch, but overall it was a lovely dish. I'd definitely come back here again. So many options on the menu, for burger lovers, vegetarians and vegans alike. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was great.

Nice food at reasonable price. Helpful and friendly staff. Had a bacon and egg roll, poached eggs with salmon and a mocha.

Had food and coffee here this afternoon with my wife and friend. Service wasn’t good. Especially I’m in the service industry(I expect to receive good customer service). Our cappuccinos were weak and too milky(large caps should have 2 shots of espresso). I’ve worked as a Barista before. I don’t recommend my friends and family here.

Myself and my partner are regular customers to 3 beans. We mainly choose this cafe because of the quality and service, HOWEVER what I witnessed today will now ensure WE NEVER COME BACK. Myself and a friend witnessed a worker drop food on the floor then proceeded to pick it up and then place it back onto the plate for the customer to eat. the WORST part was that the male OWNER of three beans was sitting there laughing with his worker about what they were potentially getting away with. Once they knew we had caught them red handed, all the laughing stopped. There are no words for this type of behaviour! This shows no respect for the customers or even for the health of their patrons. I was absolutely disgusted! When trying to speak with the owner regarding his behaviour all we received was a brush off comment saying 'we replaced the food its ok' LOL what a joke!!!!!!! We will be reporting this cafe to the health authorities. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK.

There’s no shortage of brunch options in Castle Towers, with the opening of multiple cafes in the past year. But if you’re after a quieter spot for a quick bite, there’s also Three Beans Café, one of the older cafés in the area. We’re visiting on a weekend, and though its busy, it’s not difficult to grab a table. Service is quick and efficient, and our coffees and meals are served very shortly after ordering at the counter.

Having breakfast here was purely coincidental as I needed a place to eat and wait after workout. It is not my first time here so I know that they make good coffee and food. Because it was early on a Sunday morning and shops don’t open until 10am, there weren’t too many people (which I like).

I believe I had the worst coffee I can recall for a very long day time. It was literally warm milk with a bit of colour. The bean is tasteless and lacks any depth or flavour. Never again!!!

✔️ My first time at three beans and had a pretty good experience. I ordered a soy piccolo and my dad ordered a quarter strength latte. We both enjoyed our coffees - they use a beautiful coffee bean. My soy piccolo had a really strong coffee flavour which I love and my dad’s was perfectly weak and smooth.

❌ Because I’m a regular coffee drinker I could taste that my piccolo was a tad burnt but it wasn’t very noticeable. Good Coffees do have a slight bitter taste but this was a bit overdone.

Food: 3.5/5
Presentation: 3/5
Service: 3.5/5
Location: 4/5

Was really looking forward to finding a decent acai bowl provider in this old region of the Hills.
Sadly, the young waitress was extremely condescending and could I dare say had a problem for she was sickly sweet to the Caucasian/European customers that followed after.
I asked to scan my Rewardle card, she looked at me crazy and so I scanned it myself. Once it scanned, it showed it only accumulated points with coffee. She then says, "you can't use it. It's only for coffee drinkers". Excuse me?
Perhaps warn people instead of watching them go through the process to find out ourselves for we can read. She snatched my money off my hands and pressed the change into my open hand. Serious attitude here and this was not something anyone needed at 9am on Saturday morning!

Nevertheless, the acai oddly came with mint leaves which didn't really suit. Acai wasn't horrible nor great but it could have been altered due to the poor service.
A real shame as the cookies look absolutely delightful but
This place is not recommended at all. Would definitely urge Zomato viewers to go elsewhere to be treated fairly and enjoy an outing.

Pleasant cafe outside the main food court area offering all day breakfast and light lunches, along with coffee and cakes. The grilled breakfast wrap with egg, bacon, spinach and tomato relish was pretty good, and didn't take long for it to be prepared for takeaway.

"Thoroughly modern". I'm not the kind of person who normally writes reviews, but working hospitality I understand the importance of good feedback as customers usually only become vocal when there's something amiss.
Went here for a quick solo lunch and everything so so on point it was impeccable.
I had the best damn latte, with a salmon wrap which was exactly the size I paid for, with a quality well above what it cost.
I am the daughter of a fisherman so I can be very critical of bad seafood, however this was in my top three salmon dishes without a doubt!
For what you receive, the price is much less than I'd be willing to pay for the same service and quality.
And the service was friendly, not rushed or bored, with staff who clearly know how to run a cafe. Once again, working hospitality I'm both sympathetic and critical of those who work in food service, but they were fantastic.
11/10 would recommend. Thanks for a great lunch guys

I had lunch with mum at her favourite local cafe – Three Beans – which I’ve only been to for the second time in my life. The extensive menu here gives some of the inner city cafes a run for their money, with good quality breads, free range eggs and one heavenly Malabar chai brew that reminds me of Mecca Espresso’s offering. I’m definitely on the hunt for a cast iron teapot to serve chai lattes in! Mum had a breakfast wrap with scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, tomato relish and rocket while I went for the Tasmanian smoked salmon open toast with dill dressing, smashed avocado, watercress, capers and a poached egg on rye toast. I think I’ll be frequenting Three Beans at Towers a fair bit in the future because of the quick service and delightful staff, not to mention the food that makes you feel as though you’re doing something good for yourself. Afterwards, we picked up some berries at
