Great place to have classic brunch/breakfast food without fancy extras. Favourite go-to options are the chicken melts and the drinks - the snow frappe is quite delish!

Lovely customer service! Even though I only bought a takeaway coffee, it needs to be shared. The lady who served me was very kind and welcoming :)

I was quite disappointed with this cafe. I ordered a French toast with a pot of english breakfast 🥐 tea & milk on the side. The food was quite poor. For example I got 2 small diagonally cut pieces of 🍞, that looked like it came out of a no frills packet from wollies, with a bit of bacon 🥓 & strawberries. Even their tea 🍵,was horrendous, it was watery & had 1 twinnings tea bag. When I was pouring the Tea i thought it was green tea, because it was quite light. I was expecting something reasonable like for example at least 2 thick diagonally cut bits of brioche bread with crispy bacon & fruits, & a lovely cafe strong leaf english breakfast 🥐 tea. The tea at black elk is much nicer but the owner wouldn't make me a traditional french toast. Let's just hope they re-create their french toast. Let's see how their club sandwich is in lunch. Their coffee is nice, but I usually make my coffee at home 🏘️. Go back to the drawing board with your french toast.

I only have one coffee a day hence extremely fuzzy about it BUT this cafe hits the spot. The best soya mac I have for a very long time. The omelette is light and delicious. Highly recommended.

Really like the green juice and chicken salad here. Nice spot for a catch up or to read the paper.

This was good before, but not sure if they just recently changed management! Because the last two times we dined in for breakfast it was really bad.. both times we had our orders wrong They got our eggs cooked wrong, there were mushrooms and tomatoes missing on the big breakfast plate. My husband ordered fried eggs and they came very welll done and dry! Their coffee was cold. The over all experience was very disappointing, would not recommend it anyone and we will definitely not dine here again!
