I'm not keen on bread but the bread is the best I've had in life. We're travelling but happy to go 60km out of our travels as we head north for such food art.
I stopped in on my way home to Melbourne and tried a sausage roll. It was absolutely divine, the meat melted in your mouth and the pastry was light and flakey. I could not recommend this small bakery anymore, try it you won’t regret it!
Great place to grab a coffee and a pie, pastie or even a sandwich. The pastries and muffins are among the best you can get, and the service is friendly and professional. This is my new go to bakery whenever I am in the Castlemaine area, and I recommend this place to everyone.
