My favourite place to get a rich mocha! Staff are always friendly and coffee tastes so good.
Got late night chocolate craving ? Then definitely check this place out! The staff are so friendly, and are always so welcoming 😊 my favourite drink would just have to be the crunchy ball hot chocolate 👌🏾
Service a little bit slow in peak periods. Coffee is nice. Has very limited seating. Not impressed about the seating right near the register. Find it quite awkward when ordering trying not to knock a customer right there behind you. Not roomy like Wetherill park store area.
My favorite place for churros.
Oliver Brown has several locations across Sydney serving all good things chocolate from fondue, waffles and baked churros. The Casula outlet is located outside of the food court of Casula Mall. The store is small with limited seating available.
We ordered our usual favourite baked churros for two with X2 servings of milk chocolate ramekins as they didn't have white chocolate as well. I personally prefer milk chocolate as it's not as sweet as white chocolate nor as bitter as dark chocolate. We also ordered from the cake display a raspberry and lychee dome cake. To drink, we ordered the lemon, lime and mint crush and the iced green tea latte.
The lemon, lime and mint crush was refreshing and not very sweet. It was missing a garnish on top. The iced green tea latte had the slightest hint of Matcha. It tasted more like a vanilla flavoured drink, it was disappointing.
The raspberry and lychee dome cake was served with whipped cream and some milk chocolate drizzle. The dome did not look glossy but it tasted nice. The cake was moist and it wasn't very sweet with a hint of raspberry and lychee flavour which I liked. The whipped cream was nice but it didn't hold it's shape.
The baked churros for two were stacked up in the shape of a square dusted with cinnamon and icing sugar and was served with 2 servings of milk chocolate sauce. I prefer the baked churros over fried churros, it's crispy and still soft in the middle. It's next level yum when dipped in the silky smooth milk chocolate sauce. There's usually not enough chocolate to share around.
Service was good, staff friendly. I think they should invest in purchasing table numbers as the printed out numbers that they laminated looked dirty and belonged in the bin.
Verdict: If you like churros, try these baked version, it's yummy with the milk chocolate sauce paired with the lemon, lime and mint crush.
