Ordered the following through UberEATS:
- steamed pork dumplings - delicious
- chili wontons - wantons were nice but bland chili oil
- sichuan green beans with beef mince - great flavours but waaaay too salty so I re-fried with additional fresh veges. Was still a bit too salty so ate lots of rice! Also came with the a corner of the lid broken off and missing..? Deducted 1.5 for the saltiness and broken lid.
Good joint to hit up for a solid lunch feed. I've grabbed the crispy beef and their pork spare ribs and they're awesome. Extra points for their little packaged chilli oil and vinegar. Quite reasonably priced as well, 10 bucks average. Can't go wrong. The guy behind the wok knows what's going on.
An ideal place for your quick lunch fix, service was quick, food was simple but tasty. My usual orders are char kwai teoy, mee goreng and fried rice.
We had an early dinner at Bokchoy Tang today. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They make some of the best special fried rice in the city. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and the service is of high quality. One of the staff was present at the front entrance.
Great for takeaway - loved the satay
Untitled. The food here is so much better than you would expect from a little place with four plastic tables. The laksa and the dumplings are both good, but I go back for the mee goreng, full of spicy tomato flavour and lightened up with some bean sprouts and shredded lettuce.
Understated little takeaway near Caulfield Park. Looks genuinely shabby chic like most Chinese takeaways but the food is super yummy! The char kuay teow is pretty authentic and so is chicken satay. The chef was friendly and welcoming like the wait staff. We live several suburbs away and dropped by on the way to visit a friend and would never drive to visit a takeaway but we just might for this one.
Ordered take away Nasi Goreng and it was very authentic. Other food looks great too and at a reasonable price. Give it a try.
Good vegetarian dumplings. The vegetarian dumplings are some of the best I have tried
Fantastic service, delicious food. This is my favourite place to get asian food. The service is always friendly, the food's flavours are balanced and delicious, and the delivery service is very fast. It's such a simple and unpretentious place with very reasonable prices, but in my opinion their food beats most higher priced restaurants. This is the best place in Melbourne to get won ton soup and Malaysian curries, do yourself a favour and try it.
Delicious dumplings. Cheap and cheerful, tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly service. Good for takeaway or very casual eat in. Not mass produced and really tasty - especially the vegetable dumplings. YUM!
Great food! Still wanted to eat even could not fill in more...great value and food! Must try!
I have tried Singapore noodle, satay chicken sticks. The Singapore noodle taste just nice and the portion is big. For the satay chicken sticks (6 sticks in one serve) dish that come with peanut sause is cheap and is really nice. The price range for the entree is around $7 and main dishes are around $10-12. The shop owner is very down to the earth and care about every single customer preferences, you can ask him to make you meal to extra spicy. There are quite a few dishes for vegetarian as well. The title of the restaurant is in bright apple green colour which is very spotable along the Howthorn street. Love this Chinese restaurant!
Chinese Arithmetic. 11+1 Asian Kitchen is a modest little shop serving straight up Chinese & Malaysian fare. It appears to be geared mainly towards take away and home delivery, but there are a couple of tables available should you wish to dine in.
I stopped by and picked up a Malaysian Nyonya style chicken curry served over rice and bearing in mind the $9.80 price tag, thought it was very good. An entrée of turmeric squid was also decent.
The following week I ordered home delivery and was most satisfied with a prawn & chicken wonton soup, Malaysian style chicken satay sticks and a Nasi Goreng.
Interestingly, the business is closed completely on Saturdays, but it’s worth trying for a quick midweek meal that won’t break the bank.
This place is rad. The last few owners failed at making it a worthwhile take out place. Now, the food is great and affordable. The owner is very friendly. Highly Recommended.
Do not judge the book by cover !. What a surprise feeling when the Nasi Goreng (Malay Fried Rice) & Fried Kway Teow (Fried Flat-Noodle) arrived on our table, the presentation, portioning and flavoursome already tick all the boxes which we will come back to visit again in very near future. Keep it up!
