Dinner delivered on busy Sunday night.. big fan of their crispy roast pork belly. And salt & pepper calamari is excellent!
Food is delicious, very reasonably priced (try the fantastic lunch specials!) and very friendly service. Fairly basic decor if you eat in but the food and service more than makes up for that!
While this little restaurant may need redecorating, it is certainly serving good food. Kind and prompt service, nice size portions and definitely above the average Asian restaurant. BYO ($2.50) a definite bonus. I will certainly return.
Great service, came much earlier than estimated time. Food was delicious and hot and really good value, appreciated free prawn crackers too.
Two of us had 5 dishes that were superb. Food tasted fresh and good quality. I would definitely come back here. Bill came to $50. Outstanding value.
Love this place! Second time ordering on foodora food is great and always comes with free prawn crackers!!! 😍😍 Probably for customers who order $30 or more though in total. Will order again for take away!
Had lunch with my family here and we ordered the salt & pepper soft shell crab, Cantonese beef and pineapple rice for our mains. Very true to the Asian flavour and tasty. Their hot and sour soup was pretty good as well and my mom enjoyed it a lot. The service was rather quick and very friendly too. Will most definitely return!
Unique asian restaurant in GlenHuntly road.. Had family lunch here. Food is awesome everything was great. Love the sparkling apple drink😍 will definitely come again real soon 😋
Plain venue with great service and yummy Chinese food. We all wished you were closer to us as we'd order from you on a regular basis. I had sesame prawn and sweet and sour pork. The serve of the main course was very generous.
Extremely friendly service, fried tofu are the best I had so far. Ordered Singapore fried noodle, it was a decent portion, but I felt I could have more. Will come back again!

We discovered this amazing little charm quite by accident through a group buying voucher. How lucky were we? We met the "Princess", got to know the menu, and have become avid regulars. We love the place, the art on the wall, the atmosphere and the highlight aside from the delicious food, is the gentle, polite, friendly, hands-on "princess" who ensures that every meal is prepared exactly the way the customer would like, that the customer leaves full and satisfied and there are surprises and bonuses like free prawn chips and orange to cleanse the pallet. Wowie Zowie. There is even take-away available and the "princess" is very adept with and in tune with social media. In 2 minds about giving it too much praise as it will become too popular but this would be good and deserving for the lovely, lovely "princess". Nicest Chinese food that I've eaten in ages and ages. Love it!

UPDATE. Have been back now three times. Each time has been delicious! Absolutely an underrated spot for a great meal with friendly service. Very good value too.
Just found a new gem on glenhuntly road. This place was awesome, dumplings made to perfection and my Honey Soy Chicken was crisp and tender. The complimentry crackers added to the great experience.
Been there with family like 3 times already, voucher deal. We all enjoyed the Entrees - Prawn Dumpling, Pan-fried dumpling, Home-made Sesame Prawn & Curry puffs. Mains can be a hit & miss, but that largely depends on indiv tastes. My daughter loved the Mee Goreng. All of us enjoyed the Salt & Pepper Chicken Ribs. Dessert - Green Tea ice cream & Banana fritters - yum! Staff (mother & daughter team) were really lovely, friendly and helpful, even though the place was packed on a Sunday.

I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight, using Groupon.
This restaurant is highly recommended for all of the following reasons:
1. Warmly greeted and welcomed in English with a smile by an attractive lady...very unusual for a local Chinese restaurant.
2. Very clean within and neat
3. Plates, drinks etc were served politely and gently...not just dumped at the table...lol!
4. The prawn dumpling entrée is definitely home made and delicious and excellent.
5. The chicken & corn soup had the right texture and good taste.
6. The main. ..consisting of red BBQ pork with cashews and an amazing selection of vegetables in the stir fried...was excellent.
7. The other main we chose...
Scallops in garlic..
The scallops were authentic with roe on each & everyone of them.
They were stir fried to perfection...highly recommend this....a must try!

Put simply this is a very reasonable Chinese/Cantonese takeaway restaurant. Great for a casual dinner or quick lunch. The dishes were tasty and filling with nothing too fancy. Unfortunately it was BYO only. Service was great and the place has a cozy feel too it.

Sunday before Chrissie we took advantage of a '3 course meal with a drink' Groupon Deal at PRINCESS @ ELSTERNWICK in Glenhuntly Road, Caulfield.
It was truly lovely... nothing to rave to anyone about, but thoroughly enjoyable...
-Food was timely, generous and good - none of us could really fault anything we had..
-Service was impeccable - patient, attentive..
-Restaurant is small, but very light, airy and actually quite feminine in decor - not at all expected - a nice surprise...
-Papers, magazines and books to read - a great idea for grumpy teenagers, denied their devices for an hour or so, to flick through whilst eating.. or waiting to eat.. or deciding what to eat..!!
Anyway, from the 'traditional Cantonese menu' we chose 4 entrees, 4 mains, 4 desserts and then chose 4 cold drinks from the fridge.. ALL for $58..!! We added 4 soups, 1 large Special Fried Rice to share and another round of drinks for an extra $40.
We'd all been VERY WELL 'fed and watered' for just under $100...!!!
Will definitely go again.. Yes, without a voucher.. Menu and Take-away prices are very reasonable and good value for family dining..

Princess best kept secret. This is a place you can go out for dinner and chat with your dinner companions without the background noise taking over. The decor is interesting with old Chinese posters and the atmosphere is friendly. The food is surprisingly good with flavours perfectly balanced. I feel there should be more vegetarian choices but where there is a vegetarian dish on the menu it is indicated with a V. The waitress is super friendly without being gushy. If there is something else you want, you just need to ask her.
Best Cakes & Buns in the Elsternwick/Carnegie Area!. I'm always keen to find new places to experience good food...when I say 'experience' - I do truelly mean 'experience', since the food at Princess @ Elsternwick is fantastic .... The HOME MADE cakes are 2 die 4! Hot chocolate was tasty (not too strong) and the overall ambience was really chilled and relax. It has a warm, Melbourne vibe and this is topped off with a really nostalgic asian twist in the use of its decor. The host/manager was friendly and you can see the passion in the food and service she delivers. I recommend this place to those who want to experience a delightlfully warm and endearing cafe/restaurant that is filled with great character.
