Came on a Groupon. Generous servings and the food was really nice. Staff were friendly. Meals are very reasonably priced. I especially loved the entree chicken tikka. See they do delivery to my area in St Kilda so will be going there when I want Indian again :)
Good place. Friendly staff. Fairly priced food. Pleasant ambience. Would go back there again.
It would have been great if the restaurant place played Indian music to go with the vibe of the place.
One of the best places to have Indian cuisine in Melbourne!
Ordered Chicken 65 biryani (recommended) and Chilli garlic prawns with naan.
Nice ambience, polite and good service by staff along with amazing food! Kudos to the team!
Been here for few times. Now it is my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne. Amazing service and excellent staff. Really amazing authentic Indian food. Such fantastic vegan options are available. Will be coming back again on the regular.
This is such as great Indian restaurant with some dishes slightly more adventurous. The naan are excellent. I have tried Shahi Paneer, which had a rich and creamy gravy was delicious . We had also chicken madras, lamb briyani and mango kulfi that are amazing. The rotating mix of curries means you can always get something different. The staff are great and this place is always full so I am glad they take bookings. The menu gives you a taste of India from your chaats, to briyani and Dosa. I must say good Indian food is hard to find, i guess i have just found my favourite go to for an Indian food fix.
The Real flavour of Indian food. It is a milestone for other businesses as its hard to chase the Price. Staff is very professional. Everything awesome about the place. Its 5 star review for today. Hopefully in future as well
Delicious Indian dishes at an unbeatable price with knowledgeable and friendly staff. After a long time had such a Good Indian food in Melbourne
Great food, friendly customer service. The taste of food is awesome. Every time the taste is same. I visit many Indian restaurants in Melbourne in which Aussie Curry Lovers provide the delicious food at a reasonable price.
Loved the Indian food here. Had really lovely waiting staff serve us and the food was so delicious. Will definitely be coming back. See you again soon
Been here a few times. Amazing service. Really amazing authentic Indian food. On the spicy side but very very tasty. Will be coming back again on the regular.
My new favourite Indian restaurant. Such fantastic vegan options (and they are so vegan-y creamy too)! Staff are really friendly! Highly recommend!
Excellent service and flavors: we don’t often eat Indian food but when we do, we choose to come here as the food never lets us down. At our last visit, we found our curries a little too hot to eat and the waitress offered to replace the curries immediately with milder versions to ensure we were 100% happy. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Staff truly care about their guests and made sure we were happy and comfortable.
Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal. Biryani is top notch.
From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and attentive. We started with the spinach onion pakora which were crispy and delicious. For mains we got the mixed vegetable korma and the vegan lab vindaloo which both had such amazing, authentic flavours. The cucumber salad side was a very nice refersher in between all that spiciness. We will definitely return and order through UberEats. Thank you :)
I regularly order from here on UberEats and have had dinner here with friends a few times. Food is fantastic, especially their chicken korma. Good service and well-priced.
OMG the vegan butter chicken is seriously amazing! I paired it with saffron rice and roti and it was the most delicious meal I’ve had since going vegan! Really reasonably priced as well ! Definitely my new go to indian place even tho it’s like 40 minutes away 😍
Absolutely great food and great ambience. Randomly chose this place for dinner tonight and the food was amazing and the staff was very very friendly as well. Compared to other restaurants I’ve been to, the prices were great in terms of the large portion sizes they served. Absolutely 100% satisfied. Definitely a must try for Indian food!
Finding a tasty, well priced, and moderately authentic Indian restaurant in the inner south east has been a difficult task thus far, so I'm glad to have stumbled across Mother's. Ordering take-away, we were impressed by the extensive vegan and vegetarian options, and the quick service. From order to arrival, it would have been less than 25 minutes.
The samosas were well spiced, but would have been better with a dipping sauce - not sure if this was just forgotten in the order. Our curries were flavourful and rich, and the garlic naan was very generous, if a little underdone for my taste.
All in all, a great go to indian takeaway and one we will be returning to.
Got the lamb biriyani given multiple positive reviews. The lamb was a little dry but the flavours were very good and it wasn't too oily, which is important. I'm looking forward to trying this place again - this time the chicken biriyani
One of the best goat biryanis, I’ve had in Melbourne. I’ve been on the lookout for a good biryani for about 15 months. Good service and absolutely delicious food. 💯
The place is very clean and the atmosphere is very nice. I had the goat biryani and the flavour was on point.
Made like the dum biryani of Hyderabad, the texture, flavour and taste was just perfect. The biryani is a generous serve for $9. It comes with a dash of onions and raita and saalan. And surprisingly both of the sides were spot on. The raita was thick and had the right flavour and the saalan was mildly spiced and very tasty.
I've given this place a 4 star because the meat was a little hard due to the biryani being overcooked but I'm confident that this is a one-off error and I will surely come back.
I went there with my friends, it has a decent ambiance and service. We ordered chicken tandoor for starters which was very delicious and well cooked, i could use a bit more spicy tandoor but this one was tasty as well. For mains, we orders goan fish curry and chicken korma, which was also not very spicy, very nicely cooked and it wasnt at all oily unlike many indian restaurants in Melbourne. I would recommend to come here atleast once and taste it yourself.
Definitely a cheap and cheerful! It isn't groundbreaking food but it has everything you want for Indian food, plus a few extras. Pretty basic curries, we had the chicken tikka- not hugely flavourful, and the spinach paneer- very rich and spinachy and yum. The Tandoori chickens look amazing so id definitely give that a shot. Staff are very lovely and its VERY easy on the wallet
Best Indian restaurant . The chicken biryani, butter chicken and Tandoori platter was really delicious. i also enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant along with mouth-watering . love to go there again :)
AMAZING authentic Indian food! Great to have such cheap, quality Indian food in the area. Extensive vegan options which we all loved...Can't wait to visit again!

Great addition to the area! Such value for both vegetarian and meat; best prices in Caulfield South - e.g. mango lassi for $1.50, and $1 roti (whaa??)
Aromatic and well-marinaded ingredients - one of their specialties is biryani, and kudos for having both traditional and gluten-free alternative naan.
Nice decor, and spacious too. I can easily say that this'll be one of the places to try for Indian in Caulfield.
Awesome Biryani..One of the best in Melbourne....Must try and definitely has an authentic taste.. I am going there again for sureeee....
Also it's total valir for money... very very nicely priced menu...
I decided to try this new restaurant as I like giving new places a go.As an Indian food lover and "near aficionado" of the food, I ordered The Lamb Rogan Josh and Basmati rice with papadams. The owner was lovely and attentive.First of all the flavour of the curry and the freshness was outstanding(so fragrant and the lamb was tender overall a beautiful rendition of Rogan Josh). The amount of rice they give you is a lot for the money and the value to quality ratio is simply amazing!!I ordered medium heat and it was very spicy so if anyone cannot handle it too hot, I advise to go with mild heat or between mild and medium heat...This place is a tremendous value.I would highly recommend everyone to give this restaurant a try, you will be glad you did.my likability scale is 9/10
