Best corn fritters in town. Staff were friendly. Coffee was great too. The only thing I think the cafe needs is a second toilet. There are queues and when you're in there people keep knocking which makes you feel
uncomfortable. It's a great cafe so there's too many people to only have 1 toilet. Otherwise it's fab there.
Had an excellent Wagyu Burger here with nice crunchy fries.
Really great atmosphere and cool decor.
Coffee was really good and the staff very helpful under a lot of pressure from the volume of people coming in.
Will be back to sample some more of the menu ASAP.

My sister and I eat out a lot locally - to her home in Carnegie - I have watched Arboretum being built and yesterday we had breakfast there. We were impressed with the friendly atmosphere - the fact we were actually asked what temperature we wanted out coffee - I chose the hotcakes OMG just amazing my sister had corn fritters... We both loved the experience and have already recommended it to several of our friends and family... Run by people who have a passion for food and experience

Food and coffee was fantastic. Cafe is new so you could see they were figuring out a few things. Decor and lighting was excellent too, definitely will be back and feel very comfortable taking people there.

Arboretum Kitchen & Pantry is a sunny corner cafe on Glen Huntly Road with great vibes and even greater service, especially their waiter, Dan! Great coffee also.
Just near my husbands work, Arboretum is a go to for us! Coffee is great, food is great! Service can be slow at times but overall good. Very dog friendly too!
Great cafe, beautiful decor, service and food. Te waiter was really friendly and helpful with food choices. The food was presented amazingly and so fresh. The drinks were really nice also, must be a good barista. The quiche was flavourism. Will definitely be returning again.
A cute and well lit cafe located in Caulfield. Sat outside which was lovely and the waiter was very friendly. Menu small and prices normal for the area. Coffee and tea decent and nice food.

I perched myself on the communal high table and ordered myself a serve of blackened barramundi fish tacos. These were pretty tasty - good chunks of barra on a bed of fresh coleslaw, avocado and dressing. The corn tortillas were nice and warm. The only improvement could have been more seasoning on the fish. With my birdlike appetite these days, I ate two of the tacos and already felt full, but I managed to squeeze the third one in (where there's a will, there's a way!).
While chillies are not my thing, the jalapeno poppers were tastier than I had expected (I took these home in a takeaway bag as a little something-something for later). I've never had jalapeno poppers before - I know some people just love them but they've never been something that I felt inclined to order. But after one bite, I understand the appeal. These chillies weren't crazy hot and had just a mild heat to them. The tender chilli flesh was was wrapped around a warm gooey cream cheese centre. These were surprisingly moreish with the smoky BBQ/chilli sauce.

The food and beverage is top quality here, the food is served pretty fast and almost all the staff are friendly and cheerful. I think they are extremely friendly to the regulars but if you've been there a few times and they somehow don't recognise you, you don't get the same warm reception. I love the Corn Fritters with Maple Bacon for breakfast here. It is served pretty quickly and it's always tasty. 👍

A bright, airy and well designed cafe with plenty of seating. They menu is not large but it is well chosen with some good breakfast and brunch options. Great coffee and fast service.
Good restaurant. Had basic rye toast and smoked salmon. This was ok nothing exciting. My friend had the breakfast bowl which looked interesting and apparently tasted great. this is a good option however opening at 730am isn’t great as most places open at 7am in the area.
"Huevos Rancheros"
The dish was inventive and provided a good amount of meat. The service was poor but the place had a nice atmosphere. The flavours needed to be balanced more as there was lots of meat but not a lot of other ingredients with the guacamole being limited.
We sat outside on a sunny Sunday. Talk about friendly service - these girls all wore beaming smiles.
I had the shakshuka - it made my nose run, which means it's spicy enough for me! The just runny eggs were perfectly cooked and blanketed in a big square of golden cheesiness. Really filling too.
Mr Choos has the huevos racheros and deemed it delicious. Loads of jalapeños and the chilli was tasty. His only minor gripe was that his eggs were a wee bit snotty.
We both thought the coffee was too bitter for our tastes.
The pie of the week was Mexican and we really liked the sound of the chicken cheese and jalapeño sausage rolls. Next time....it won't be long.
Nice emerging place.. well designed interiors.. food was good but coffees were just ok.. nothing extraordinary.. brekkie items were tasty.. we tried shakshuka with bread and corn fritters with poached egg avo etc.. might come back at some point to try others 👍

Busy and happening place. Day 4 after opening. Love the interiors. Great brekkie/brunch selections. Just grabbed a mocha which was great. Can't wait to come back to eat here.
Update on 1/7/2017. Back today for lunch. Service was perfect. Intuitive and aware. Thanks girls you've made me happy and that's not easy.
Turmeric latte was lovely. I had the brekkie bowl w crispy kale, avocado, quinoa, seeds, nuts, raisins, spinach & broccolini with a poached egg and lovely dressing. 5/5 for all of it. Couldn't eat it quick enough.
Partner had the corn fritters which she gave a 5/5 as well. Both well cooked and well put together for flavours. Prices were standard for this area.
Coffees were good as well. My second mocha with almond milk needed a bit of sugar that usually suggests a more dark chocolate is used which is not a bad thing!
So glad having another lovely eatery in my neighbourhood. 😍😍😍
Fantastic atmosphere that is always lively accompanied by incredible food & lovely staff. Always greeted with smiles and prompt table service. A clearly refined menu with classic items alongside the more contemporary style. Coffees have always been great & cater perfectly to needs & wants of the customers. Clearly great local produce is used & perfectly poached eggs every time. A surprising establishment, tucked away. Would recommend any day.
Decent food, decent price and space.
Lit by mostly natural light, this Cafè/returant has plenty of room room and plenty to eat. There is seating available both indoors and out and high chairs are available. The place is clean and tidy and has an inviting environment.
The staff seem friendly, but lack a smile and they seem to take their time (seems a bit long) getting to you to take your order. Our waitress didn't refill our water jug even though it was clearly empty.
The food is decent in both quantity and quality which priced accordingly (doesn't seem to be inflated much).
Arboretum is a great cafe! The food is delicious and beautifully presented. There is an excellent range of drinks. Lots of tables and a lovely atmosphere. I had the breakfast board and it was divine, the perfect combo of museli and eggs!

Great food, I can recommend both the pancakes and and the corn fritters. Friendly prompt service with excellent coffee. Nice casual atmosphere which also has outdoor dining.
Loved the breakfast. The mushroom special was fantastic. The corn fritters are good and there's nice coffee and efficient, friendly service. The outside area will be nice when the weather is better. The rough industrial decor inside may not be for everyone, but it's worth a visit for breakfast.
