Love this place ... friendly owners, great food and coffee, generous serves, warm, casual vibe. Step inside, relax and unwind. You'll leave feeling content and rejuvenated.

Good food without being great. Decor out dated but a nice large space with courtyard too. Enjoyable brunch for a reasonable/cheap price. We ate the corn fritters, meat lovers focaccia and smashed avocado

Had a very unpleasant experience lately there. It was very quiet during busy lunch time. The two staff (might be the owners) were kind rude even at start of the service during ordering. They had the wrong coffee for me, come back with the “correct” one but obviously just changed it from cup to a glass. It was suppose to be a “large” coffee not small… I wouldn’t go back there again.

Quirky suburban coffee shop/restaurant with lots of indoor seating, lovely outdoor seating, great coffee and excellent service. Dog friendly outdoor seating area accessible from rear laneway.

Their food is delicious and very well presented! Very friendly and helpful staff. Their area at the back is large with an outdoor area too. There is, however, room for improvement in their decor.

Groupon Vocher: Seven dishes dinner with wine for 2. The lady is very friendly indeed and helpful and the portions are big enough. They only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday only. On Friday afternoon, we dial over 20 times to book the table but no one answer. Okay, we take a long way to the shop early to book it because we want to try the salmon fillet and beef sirloin. It's very inconvenient experience!! However, The foods are out of expectation and very dissapointed. Between The groupon menu outline and the day of restaurant menu are very different. Firstly, The chef selected platter- (the mixed veg with egg taco) is taste alright but that's not a platter🤔 Secondly, the day of soup is creamy mushroom soup no other choice and taste so far so good. Thirdly, they serve us the salmon and avocado with vinegar sauce. Big portion and taste not bad. Unfortunately, the sesame oil is cover the salon's taste and a bit oil. The fourth dishes meal is prawns. Its' chewy, dry and overcook. The fifth and sixth meal are ducks leg with vegetables and the Lame shank with potato mash. Thats the most upset thing that You can choose by these two only. They don't have salmon fillet or beef sirloin to choose. They are misleading on Groupon voucher introduction. The ducks leg is tasteless and cook again and again by microwave. The lamp shank is very soft but tasteless and lamp's original special smell is too strong for us. The side dish veges and potato mash are better than the main dish🤔 Make us very dissapointed. The last desserts are lemon tart and cheese cake. Fortunately, the cheese cake taste nice and cheer me up a bit. They are not serve a cup of tea or coffee to finished up the dessert! The red wine is better to paired with medium beef sirloin but you cant tried here. Don't get high expectations for this Groupon voucher at Xpose Cafe dinner.

One of the best Cafe. The food was delicious and my hot chocolate was best. Best service by the staff.

Yum food and great service. I ordered the Veg big breakfast, takeaway, which has roast mushroom, pumpkin and spinach. Plus eggs made your way. All delicious and I’d say very good value too. The restaurant was busy when I was there (11am Saturday), however staff remained upbeat, friendly and efficient. Well done!! Will be back

(I wouldn’t give much attention to the below 1 star reviewers, who’s only left 1 review in her account. A true Karen..)

At first the restaurant was great after a while the restaurant Quality slipped away. The waitress couldn’t even remember our meals and mixed up our eggs. Once we found a hair in our food my friend went to the waitress and she replied “I don’t know how to deal with this” this is poor Customer service. Once the manager was told about the hair, we were given the same meal
back and the hair was only REMOVED, the meal was not REPLACED! This is disgusting. We are in a pandemic! You can’t be giving this service. Pandemic or not replace a meal with a dirty hair in it.
I will not be returning and I will be not showing my friends this restaurant.

Got a voucher for this cafe and while the decor is a bit dated the lovely, smiling service made up for it.

Coffee was nice, the veg breakfast was huge and tasty, but way too oily.

Would give a 3.5 if I could.

2.5

The majority of the bad ratings did somewhat deterred me from stepping in, but I was in the area and just needed a quick cuppa and a bite, and this seemed like a good spot.

The courtyard out back is where you should head if you plan to have a long relaxing lunch; bright, airy and very homely. A huge contrast to the vintage set-up up front near the counter, which was manned by two incredibly friendly and welcoming ladies.

While not the best cup of coffee, my partner's latte was miles better than my skinny latte - the former being much stronger and tastier, while the latter arrived a tad too hot and on the weaker side. The vanilla slice that we shared was just right in terms of sweetness, and the custard filling was smooth and creamy. It was however let down by the soggy pastry.

Not a great place yet not bad at all, but I must admit that the lovely hospitality helped drive the rating up.

Awesome place with great service. Lovely backyard and the food is really delicious. Love their big breakfast and omelette! Very friendly staff will definitely visit again :)

Very poor service. Every order was incorrect. Omelette not cooked. Extremely disappointed in our experience. I had suggested this cafe and was embarrassed with my friends when it was unsuccessful

Fantastic little cafe. They've got these quaint seats and adorable paintings on the walls. The staff have lovely smiles as well. Decor, friendliness and atmosphere is on point.

We ordered the seafood pasta and scrambled salmon. Tasted absolutely delicious and perfect for such a charming venue.

Don't believe the haters, this is a wonderful little community cafe you should definitely support.

Great coffee! They always get the balance just right, and they are great for breakfast. I always have breakfast there, love the eggs benedict. Good value and service is fast.
Staff is friendly, always very happy to accommodate my particular taste buds. Seems to be result of new owners.
Definitely recommend trying this place.

Came here for breakfast this Sunday after avoiding it for a few months. First thing I've noticed is the change of menu (new owners I think). The menu is a lot more streamlined and simple instead of been unnecessarily long. Coffee was on point and the food tasted great and was well presented. I would definitely recommend people to check this place out.

I ordered the smashed avocado, rocket and feta. It was nice, very strong in flavour and suggest you get the poached egg with it to tone it down. So I don't understand why the poached egg is an extra.

Also as a note the menu really should say rocket salad with avocado and goats cheese. I say this due to the sheer quantity of rocket. I had to put some to the side to find the avocado. But it was otherwise a nice dish. If only I didn't have to order it twice then clarify a further two times as what it was I was actually ordering. A language barrier seemed to be the issue, which was a shame as they were trying.

Now to my husbands french toast. Made from challah, first big tick. But the menu promised berries and banana. No banana, it must have gone on holiday. The mascarpone was bitter, and tasted off, when we inquired about it the waitress insisted the label says it wasn't overdue until next year??? Oh dear

In general food was ok, but there were some major issues that have brought the rating down:
1. French toast with berries and banana slices with lime mascarpone: no banana on it. Not a huge amount of berries either.
2. Something definitely wrong with the Mascarpone on this dish too - tasted bitter/sour and not sweet in the slightest - I told them it was likely off, but they went into denial telling me the useby date was in the future and asked me if I wanted butter instead (??)
3. The smashed avocado on toast had more rocket than avocado, although the flavours weren't too bad
4. They forgot the second smashed avocado and we had to correct our order twice more before my wife got served.
5. Almost $60 for that and 3 coffees. Overpriced.

Definitely not the most fancy of places but the staff are very friendly, the food is always nice and the prices are great!!
