By far the best Indonesian Warung in Melbourne. Food is most authentic, delicious & generous servings.... clean & graceful service. I want it to be open 24/7 and I am sure there are loads of regular customers who agrees with me. I am very great full for you ladies effort & giving us the most authentic Indonesian food 🙏🏽

Their food is really tasty, I haven't spent much time in Indonesia, so can't really testify to the authenticity of it. However, the people who work here are Indonesian, and the flavours certainly remind me of home, which is a neighbouring country to Indonesia. Prices are relatively cheap, service is fast (everything is pre-cooked in bain maries, but hot and yummy). Servings are generous. I genuinely love eating at this place.

I love their tender chicken Satay dish and a good portion (Not Satay Laler!). Their Hot 🔥 spicy Chicken fried rice is very tasty.....! Go for it guys..you won't be disappointed, especially worth for your money.

Delicious, no frills Indonesian food. Their buffet menu changes from day to day, but it's constantly delicious! Their "green chili beef shreds" are especially nice!

Good to kill those craving for home-made Indonesian meals ..... Inconsistency and Bain Marie can kill those craving, but at around $10/meal what can you complaint about, just ENJOY it. Still good, only an hour away, otherwise spend 7 hours of flight and $800.00 to get to the real thing in Jakarta :-)

1 minute walk from caulfield station, simple settings,no table service But the High Lights is on the Food, Traditional Indo's dishes, with at least 10 to choose from, prices starting from $9 for 1 meat 1 veg with rice. Yummy Beef Rendang, tasty Sambal. Enak! Thumbs Up! I'll definitely go for the Beef Rendang ...again..,

Taste pretty good & authentic. I usually take away from this place on a weekly basis. Price is reasonable. Can’t complain.

Bought takeaway during lockdown and Nusantara foods never disappoint. Their krecek was soo good, pretty close to the ones from Jogja. Love love Nusantara.

Just had lunch here. Ordered the beef rendang and beef jerky. Super delicious and very satisfying Indonesian meal. Not too crowded so it’s a good place to chill with friends.

The only indonesian restaurant around monash caulfield campus makes it very famous. Never tried the food on the bain marie, but dined here once and had the beef soto betawi. Portion and pricewise it was okay, but they added some weird herb that made the soup tasted kinda off, and the soup was already too sweet to begin with.

Another little secret is that Freddy offers a generous meat only takeaway of a small serve for $6 and large for $9. I often grab a container of the Beef Rendang or the Chilli Shrimp Paste Beef for $6 and take it home to eat with fried roti. I use a fantastic Katoomba frozen roti product that you just fry up straight from the freezer. Its an excellent product but I'll post about them another time.

This restaurant cant be rated. The food can be superb but it can also be crappy. Dont go to this place too late in the afternoon as the chance of getting crappy food is higher. Depending on who serve you, you could get huge portion or you can get the diet version. In general the service is good tho and for the clean freaks, they might find the place on the dirty side. Do i like this place? I think i barely like it as i was disapponted too many times. Ps i just had very tough rendang meat and super dry fried chicken. I shouldve come earlier lol

Everything is delicious here. Regularly go for the 3 choices plus drink for $10

Very oily food. The taste is okay but it's not value for money. There was the tiniest amount of fish in the battered fish. The stir-fried tempeh was extremely oily. If you buy a takeaway, you will notice a pool of oil at the bottom of the container by the time you get home. <br/><br/>The amount of serving depends on the person serving you. Most of the time, I felt as if I was being forced to go on a diet whenever I go there. There are better Indonesian restaurants around.

Cheerful, cheap and lovely people. Vegetarian options also available which made me happy.

I went to the ones in tivoli arcade city. I'm assuming they are the same owner, since they have the same name! Lovely home cooked type of food. Honest food. Full of flavour ! Will be going back! :D

Chicken satay + (lots of) sweet soy sauce = More-ish!. Similar to Nelayan, Nusantara offers delicious, home-cooked Indonesian cuisine at affordable prices. Service is okay, you get your money worth. I especially love their chicken satay!

Today is the first time trying Nusantara Resto.. From "Buset" found out they are selling Ayam Goreng Tulang Lunak... I love it... just too bad the 'sayur asam' not tasty enough... they should improve the 'sambal' also... but still the Ayam Goreng Tulang Lunak is nice... ^_^
