Great food, great service......City food meets country pub! If you’re looking for something more than just your usual pub meal then I highly recommend this delicious food, generously priced pub with many local wines to compliment. Crawford River Rosé is hard to pass!

Yum, yum, yum! Awesome afternoon had, wonderfully accomodating for our Mob, great atmosphere and the food was spectacular. Your duck terrine and pork were stand-outs. I'll be dragging my family down soon!

Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch this weekend, there's something very relaxing about coming in and eating what is being served without knowing what that will be, particularly when it is this good. Delicious food, great value for money and a scenic Sunday drive, couldn't ask for more.

Spit roasted suckling pig with superb trimmings was absolutely sensational. Staff are warm and friendly, pub decor is old school which adds to the atmosphere. Only real negative was that we drank them out of their premium red as they only had 6 bottles in stock. A really nice country pub with high quality food.

Warm, welcoming, friendly, easy, I couldn't have like this place more. The food was superb. I had salmon stuffed zucchini flowers in tempura batter and a very generous serving of an excellent tiramisu. Love love love this place and can't wait to go back.

This place is legendary and for good reason. We booked the chefs table lunch on Sunday and were so impressed with the quality of the food and service. Every meal was utterly divine. The exquisite mushroom and cheese croquettes, hand cured salmon, pork belly and brisket cooked to absolute perfection. And to top it off a sublime lemon tart that was really more a citrus creme brulee in tart form. The chefs table changes week to week so I can't wait to go back and try it again!

I've stayed the night, to fully enjoy the place. The rooms were clean but basic mind you the price was OK so no complaints. As others have stated the food is excellent far above the standard of a normal pub meal - my congratulations to the chief.

The Bunyip Pub at Cavendish outside appearance deceives the awaiting menu which is more restaurant style. Appealing but for lunchtime passerby’s could have a soup & bread combo for $15 over winter or still include a traditional steak sandwich for the guys even if they put a little upmarket twist to it if that’s what they are after for weekends traveler’s. Probably more suitable for evening diners with current menu.😊

An absolute must visit. 5⭐️ all rounder. Magnificent views and atmosphere, friendly and warm service, and food that will have your taste buds dancing. We sat on the outside verandah with our dog, had the 5 course sunday chefs menu, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. 👌
