Very lovely place, great for photos. Would not recommend on a rainy day, most of the grounds is grass, and it can get quite muddy and slippery. I attended a wedding at Caversham House recently, the setting by the river was perfect and the grounds were exquisite. Unfortunately the food was below average which was also disappointing to the wedding party and other guests. Otherwise I would have given a score of 5.
Beautiful gardens and venue. It's private property but have never had a problem having a walk through the gardens

Visit but just don't book! Stunning venue with beautiful grounds but that's where it stops. One of the worst meals I've ever been served. They get you in and wow you with their venue, get you signed up and give you the option of paying for a tasting of the menu a couple of months before the wedding
