Very friendly staff and good food even though they were busy, will be better if they clean the tables more often

Highly recommended.
Large servings. The taste - exceptional! A flood of memories came back from my younger years! The scones, bacon and eggs etc, all superb.
Highly recommended. The ladies attending us and all, fantastic.
For the younger people, come in and taste what was traditionally served in the 70's. And 80's. Yummy!

Delicious food, lovely service and great value
Went to this cafe after seeing other stellar reviews about this place. Was not dissapointed! Truly traditional family style hot pies and pastries galore. However, the highlight was the coffee and cake combo, which we ordered a very decadent and rich (but not sweet) chocolate mousse cake, simply to die for. Would definitely come again the next time I pass through Cessnock
They were really helpful and pleasant to my mum yesterday- she was after some sausage rolls and the lady serving went above and beyond. Thank you so much.
Serve was great, happy and friendly staff, considering what we all have been through with the covid . It's always a pleasure to have brunch and just relax.
