Review Woodstock Pizzicheria - Chadstone

Edwar Kartio
Came here for lunch and it wasn't that busy. The pizza in our opinion was pretty average tasting, we can't really taste the truffle in it. The antipasto was great and had a wide selection of toppings. Service was friendly and helpful which helps with the rating. Food - 6 Service - 8 Vibe - 7 Price - $$$

It's all about what you expect!! For a Pizzeria, the price is on the higher site as it is the Chatstone Fashion Shopping Mall you pay the extra $5 to $8 for your meal Taste wise it's a medium high standard to my understanding of Italian food I guess it's all about the timing you go here It's average and tasty Remember you pay the extra while in Chatstone

We have eaten here a few times over the last couple of years and always order a pizza as they are deliciously authentic cooked in a wood fired oven. The menu has changed since our last visit with some new welcome additions and a few favourites now gone. Prices have also increased but you get what you pay for with the ingredients fresh and beautifully cooked. Staff are always very pleasant and knowledgeable... Highly recommended... 😋

Pizza and service is always amazing Espresso Martini? Mmmhm Desert plate anyone? $14.95 for this huge plate of crispy doughnuts and homemade nuttela poured all over . It satisfief the 4 of us.
Luis Osorio
Average pizza and an interesting “Home-made Italian Doughnuts” for dessert. The place invites you to see in pictures the story behind the business, which is nice. Staff giving their best but I got the feeling they had too many tables to take care of, which made the attention a little slow.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered a chilli prawn pizza, salmon salad, steak with mashed potatoes and arancinis. Everything was ok, very decent flavour and well presented. Portions were ok. Not abondanza but reasonably priced. My favorite was that silky mashed potato with truffle... really enjoyed it.

The food was good but service could be improved. We had the braised beef cheek and the lamb with potato mash. The staff were mostly attentive but the waiter serving our food didn't know what dishes they were and just placed them down. When we were paying our bill, the waiter was talking to his colleague and didn't say good bye or acknowledge us as we left.

I was looking for a classic lasagna when in chadstone, googled it, and found this place. This place is huge, the pizza was yum, and got the lasagnya. Food taste not bad, service was great, and the price was decent. Good for family with young kids as well as friends in a big group.

We ordered two Margherita pizzas from Woodstock’s distributor for tonight’s dinner at home and were so impressed. We heated in our own oven but their pizzas had that wood fire taste and bubbly crust. We added anchovies to one of the Margherita bases and ham, mushrooms, capsicum and chilli to their other and they made for a perfect Friday at home meal. Would definitely have again and look forward to dining in once covid restrictions are lifted

Second time we were here. The meals are better prepared during the weekdays. Friday dinner is such a rush . The blue swimmer squid ink spaghetti is amazing but pricy. <br/><br/>Signature Woodstock pizza was ok . May try other meals next time.

Had to ask for mineral water 3 times & water twice. Ordered entrees & mains & they brought them all out together. Didn't come & ask if we would like more drinks or dessert. We has to ask for a dessert menu & for them to clean our table. Very disappointing.

Quick service during lunchtime on weekdays. Nice taste pizza very Italian style. Not overflavored.

I really wanted to love this place..... it’s my second time here. But from the start the place was absolutely awful. We were in the line waiting to be seated and the waitress out the front straight up ignored us, didn’t even look at us and left us waiting for a table while another staff member showed us to our table 10 mins later.<br/><br/>We ordered the antipasto platter, gnocchi Bolognese and minchia pizza. Whilst the food was pretty good, the service was horrendous. As we finished our antipasto, the waiter came and dumped our gnocchi and pizza and didn’t even take the old plates? Leaving us with a crowded table and us having to wave down someone (they’re really NOT attentive here) to come and take our old plates. <br/><br/>Lastly when we were all finished up and ready to pay, the same waitress from the front was on her phone and not at all concentrating and we were left waiting there for at least five minutes to pay for our meal? Mind you the meal was not cheap especially for a shopping centre restaurant.<br/><br/>We will not be back again.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. We had a booking for 6 for a 40th birthday dinner on Sunday night. When making the booking the lady confirmed my number 3 times. The booking was for 730 and we arrived at 750 to be told that they had closed the kitchen. No one called us to say they were closing early. Online the hours of close say 10pm. I called to speak to the manager the following day and she was nothing but rude to me. Never again.

Friendly staff and very quick service. Food came out within 10 minutes. Loved the amount of cheese on the Margherita pizza. Delicious
Lo
Really enjoyed it here! Pizza was great, very big serving and the drinks was good! Price can range from $20-30 so pretty average. They make the best cocktails 💕 will definitely come back again

This is one of my parents’ favourite places to have a meal when they visit me from Melbourne. They serve excellent pizzas and I’m in love with their Pappardelle Al Ragu Della Nona. It’s so tasty, and they even provide you with a side of powdered cheese. Being a big fan of cheese, you can expect that I added lots of it! đŸ€€

Wood oven pizza’s are pretty good here. However, the ravioli was undercooked leaving it tasting quite firm..not great. Also don’t like the fact that the shoe string chips come last. Overall, this place is quite average.
Anne
Our dinner for 4 was a very poor experience. The food here is pricey, due to location and the aesthetics they have invested in the restaurant. Unfortunately quality is not on offer. The menu is deceptive with the Italian names and authentic dishes. However, what we received was cold pasta, ‘shoestring’ fries that were straight cut and had no seasoning. It tasted like frozen oven baked fries. A Caesar salad with boiled eggs with the over cooked grey edge of the yolk, 2 shavings of Parmesan, and a light coat of mayonnaise. They wanted to charge $27. We asked for more dressing and toppings and was given mayonnaise because they don’t make a Caesar dressing for their Caesar salad. We sent most our dishes back and the ones we ate were average, lacked flavour and pricey.<br/>Extremely disappointed as we felt it was complete waste of our money.

Is a place in Chadstone. Had dinner on Friday night this week, it is a small but busy place. They deliver the pizza so fast, I’ve surprised but tasty just normal. I have no idea for the chips...staffs are friendly.

The only reason your getting 2 stars is because I never got to try your food sat at a table for 30 minutes no one came to take our order staff kept walking past and ever took the order of a table that came in after us.
Ash Cherrett
The mrs and I came here and tried the Woodstock Pizza. Hands down best pizza I've ever tried. Loved it. Didnt give it 5 stars because it was a little pricey but oh well
Gerry Pantz Maistrellis
So I am not sure why this place does not have 5/5 star reviews but I guess some people are bored and one slight micro problem makes them become keyboard maniacs. I will have to say we come here 3 times a week! I am not the type to write a review but I must shut some peoples mouths on here! The service is FANTASTIC! I was in Italy and I still didn’t find a better carbonara than the one we eat here! As for the fish I AM IN LOVE! All the staff are so nice! I purposely don’t cook 3 times in the week so I can come here and enjoy the best Pizzas and pasta! LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE THIS PLACE! You MUST try it!

Best pizza ever! My friend & I went here before our movie, we were a bit skeptical at first as it was busy & weren’t too sure if we would get our food in time. We were quickly shown to a table & had a look at the menu. My friend & I got to share 2 pizzas; one being the Bunga Bunga pizza & the other being the San Daniele. We also got the potato croquettes. The food came out extremely fast! You could see how hard working the staff in the kitchens and on the floor were working! The pizza was delicious! I really liked the Bunga Bunga because it had potato on it. I didn’t particularly like the potato croquettes since there wasn’t much too them & they were $15. But the pizzas were definitely relatively priced for how good they tasted!
Matt Thalmeier
From my experience the reviews are more harsh than what they need to be, the pizza was good but nothing special at all but the carbonara was amazing with some chilli in it, lovely creamy and cheesy flavour<br/><br/>Though it is overpriced make no mistake, can't do much about Chadstone exorbitant prices I guess, definitely wouldn't consider it value for money as the ambiance is quite shit.. loud talking all around, people in the kitchen slapping shit around all night, sounded like they were dropping things constantly so for those reasons I can't recommend it<br/><br/>Quality: 4<br/>Service: 3<br/>Value: 2<br/>Ambiance: 2<br/><br/>Overall 2.75 (3)<br/><br/>Tl;dr Short stop over for lunch yes, nice dinner no

Service: <br/>+ prompt <br/>+ attentive <br/>- (very small negative) we were not offered the Parmesan cheese, we had to wait to get the server’s attention <br/><br/>Food:<br/>+ VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY<br/><br/>Woodstock pizza: <br/>+potatoes on pizza sounds weird but blended in perfectly with everything else. <br/><br/>Rigatoni al arabiatta: <br/>+ AL DENTE<br/>+not too much tomato, good acidity balance. <br/>-Could have been spicier <br/><br/> Pappardelle ai Funghi: <br/>+AL DENTE<br/>+ generous serve of mushrooms <br/>If you’re a mushroom lover this one’s for you. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>
Graceelladaisy
Me and my partner, both vegetarian, were served a meat lasagne instead of the eggplant parmigiana we ordered. Staff were apathetic at best, pretty disgusted tbh

God help me ...<br/><br/>Italians are the god of latte ... unfortunately not in this place; Lavazza coffee beans.<br/><br/>Maybe, best I'll try their Pizzas and Pasta or Gelati, help me God. JT-May 2019.

How good is it to be able to find a wood fire pizza in Chadstone? Super good I’d say. I love coming here for lunch after having some retail therapy. Thanks for always providing decent meal and lovely service đŸ˜€đŸ™ŒđŸ»

Went for dinner with friends on a busy Friday night. Unfortunately, they had no pastas available. I settled with the meat lovers pizza. It was fairly average food.
Pyro
Went for dinner with friends, advised that they had no pasta available. Service was ok, ordered pizzas and chicken schnitzel, food was really bland and nothing special, no seasoning or flavor to any of the food. Also super overpriced
AaronN
Came here for lunch during a chaddy shop, and overall wasn't overly impressed. Everything was pretty average and underseasoned. Service was also really slow (albeit friendly).
Matthew Regos
Came with the family for lunch after a movie. Wife had a seafood pasta dish that she said was good and i had a pizza was was excellent. Kids had one of the kuuds meals which was a bit much. However all meals are expensive for what you get Constantly had to ask for service which was annoying given how much you pay and it wasnt very busy at the time.
LetsDoBreaky
We came here based on recommendations from our friends, and it didn’t disappoint. We had arrancini balls for starters and then shared pizzas for mains (plus the kids spaghetti bolognase). The pizzas had fantastic flavours and light and fluffy bases that were just the right thickness. Like many of the previous reviews we found that this restaurant was on the pricey side ($150 for 4 1/2) however well worth the visit.<br/>
Cookielessvee
A nicely laid out place. Good service.<br/><br/>Ordered the potato croquettes which had a crispy batter and soft mashed potato. The sauce complimented the croquettes.<br/><br/>Regina margherita had a nice wood oven burnt taste. The sauce was wet with stringy cheese.

I love this place! <br/><br/>The pizza dough itself is absolutely amazingly yum.<br/><br/>I love that they have a FULL vegan menu with pizzas, pastas and appetizers. <br/><br/>On Wednesday they have specials on the vegan menu too, so I often go on my lunch break!<br/><br/>A great place to bring a friend or a date before/after a movie, or while you are shopping at Chadstone. <br/><br/>Edit: recently went AGAIN and was looked after Amanda who was amazing. Would definitely recommend you try and vegan pizza AND pasta. Just divine. They have sorbet which is vegan too. I was stuffed!
Mr S
A nice cosy place with an authentic Italian look and feel. <br/>The service is always great and the food is fabulous. However their prices are a bit steep. That is the main reason why I have not given them a 4. You can get a better feed with the same quality at some of the other chadstone terrace restaurants, for a lesser price. <br/>I don’t dine here regularly anymore as it’s expensive and they have not updated their menu, whereas others have. <br/><br/>However their pizzas are divine and delectable. Worth every bit and more but I think they need to rehaul the menu and prices.

I've been here a few times and the pizza is really yummy - but that's about where the positives end. I was here the other night, it seemed quite busy so we waited about 15 minutes for a really mediocre table - in the middle of the restaurant where waitresses constantly bumped into us. Every time chairs were pulled out or pushed in they made loud scraping noises. I ordered the meatballs - $14.90, decent portion size but way too salty, and the Caprese salad which was extremely disappointing: $20 for a few slices of tomato, 3 slabs of buffalo mozzarella, basil and ROCKET which they don't list on the menu! I specifically did not order a salad with rocket because I absolutely abhor it. What a huge, overpriced let down. The waitresses were also all over the place, it was difficult to wave them down, they didn't understand our orders at times, weren't very friendly at all. The prices are not at all in proportion to the service, value or experience. Spare yourself and go to 400 Gradi. You might even spend less money.

Came to have a quick Italian lunch here as it was right next to the cinema. Ambience was good and service was great. The mediocrity part sadly was the food. The seafood marinara we had was tasteless. The thick noodle texture also didn’t work for us. For 30 dollars, there was quite enough seafood in the dish, but we needed parmesan and chilli oil to give the pasta a bit more oomph. The pizza was alright though. Maybe pizza is more of their speciality?

We went here before our movie, and we order a couple of pizzas. The pizza was absolutely delicious and while we were surrounded by some crazy kids we did enjoy the food!
Leesa Jane
Ordered food on a Friday night busy full resturant food was out within 5 mins which was shock and tasted great . Authentic pizzas with real Italian workers, will definitely come back.
Tum Tum
Gave this place a 2-star as soon as we got seated. Waiter was all over the place. Asked for his recommendation and was given a hasty and unfriendly response. The food certainly did not improve the experience. Pizza was soggy in the middle, pasta was tasteless. Would maybe come back to try when they’re less busy.<br/><br/>Update: came back a couple days ago when they were less busy. We had the same exact thing, pizza was still soggy but it wasn’t as mushy as it was before. The penne tasted better this time, it was more flavourful and seasoned well.
Who Loves Good Food
We love to sit & watch them pump out all the pizza orders for a busy Saturday lunch crowd. The efficiency & precision is just amazing. We had calamari to start. Then we share a porcini mushroom pizza & a Napoli pizza. Nice variety.
Andy Limnios
Terribly Overpriced and under-portioned.Paid $64 for a paper thin pizza with hardly any toppings, a “plate” of Ravioli with only 5 small pieces, and a bottle of sparkling water. Service poor. Waiters look as though they’d rather be playing golf! Never again.
Ondreea De Vincentis
Ordered some pizza and pasta and it was amazing so we came back, however the second time the food wasn't the same, pizza was a bit oily and pasta sauce had changed.<br/>The food is average and so is the service, a little over priced as well.
Bradley Perry
The pizza was great, seriously good pizza. But...the brunette seating us (only one not in uniform) was seriously rude. Also why not make all soft drinks one size? They charge $4.90 for all soft drinks but people ordering a Coca Cola product get the can and people order sprite get a small 200ml glass (I checked the bottom) when I asked for the whole can I was told it comes from a big bottle. Just have consistency! Want to serve coke in a can, serve sprite in a can as well. Don't get rude and angry because someone rightly thought it was odd
Jonathon
The staff were friendly and accomodating . The pizza I ordered came out quickly . It was very tasty . Well worth going . I have been a few times to Woodstock .
Alijargalb
Came here with a brunch of girlfriends and ordered some pizzas and pasta. The 4 cheese pizza was quite good, but pasta was not the best carbonara in Melbourne
Soulfoodie
Came here for drinks and gelato after a movie. We had tira misu and pistachio gelato. Gelato was icy and way too sweet - we ate only 1/5 of it and left the rest to melt. The waiter came by many times and saw this however questioned nothing and we paid the bill in full, at $4 for a small scoop. Not sure about the food in general but would avoid ordering any gelato from here in future.
Nay Nay
The service here was disappointing to say the least. No simple smiles or communication. However the woodfire pizza was exceptional. Perfectly balanced and well cooked. Great toppings, sauce and presentation
Tifany_la_gourmande
Some delightful pizzas! We had a few coffees also to finish up our meals and they were fantastic. The food was damn good and attentive service. The deserts were pretty pricey though. I recommend booking as it was super busy for a Friday night!
Josie
Out for a light meal with a friend and had arancini balls which were really nice. We had a sorbet coffee mousse after which was a definite winner.
Romen.peiris
Well Over priced let’s say that’s because of chadstone, had 2 pastas and a Margherita paid 82$ my biggest disappointment was paid $33 for a spaghetti alle vongole, for the very first time I’m seeing this dish with mussels, few clams and in Napoli base, having paid almost a price of an eye fillet was expecting proper spaghetti alle vongole veraci. Pizza was good but a medium Margherita for $23? Ohh boy!!!
Flying Forward
Having recently been to Tipo, Kaprica, +39 and Gradi, I naturally have comparisons to make.<br/>The pizza dough is fresh and hand shaped to order – it’s impressive watching them work, it’s almost mesmerising as each hand movement is done with mindless purpose.<br/>When it came out, the crust was hot, fresh and crispy, and the thin shaved prosciutto provided that bit of saltiness.<br/>So the pizzas are pretty good, depending on the topping and flavours you prefer.<br/>The pastas though feel a little old school.<br/>The pene al calabrese was a simple pasta cooked in tomato sauce, olives, mince, onion, garlic and basil.<br/>It’s a very common flavour and has been around for decades. Decently cooked but I’m not sure if it’s worth $27.90.
Kiffdcosta
I came here when it first opened and the pizza was really nice and had no problems. Although I came here tonight with my family for Father’s Day & it was a different experience. We ordered a bunch of pizzas as well as some chips. The chips described as ‘shoe string chips’ that were $9 came out with barely any chips on it (picture attached) & were thick chips. Yes that’s how it came, we hadn’t eaten any off this. When we asked about it, the staff didn’t care & were not polite about it, not apologizing but saying they had changed the chips on the menu and that it just hadn’t been updated yet. They gave us an extra bowl for free in the end and the pizza was good- but the experience at Gradi or DOC is certainly better
Brunchingthesuburbs
I have dined at Woodstock twice, and would recommend you choose another restaurant at Chadstone.<br/><br/>The first time, I ordered the porcini pizza and waited for half an hour with no food. I had to flag down a waiter myself as tables around us (and everyone else at my table) got their food. AFTER the meal I was told the pizza printer was broken, and at no point were any apologies offered. Disappointed with the service, I had messaged Woodstock to no reply.<br/><br/>Luckily, there were no such issues the next time I dined here. However, the food does not match the price. Both times I have found the pizza and the service to be average. <br/><br/>
Val
I would love to give 5 star for the garlic mozzarella focaccia pizza, but will only give 2 stars for the Rafaello dessert pizza. So I ordered a garlic mozzarella with focaccia dough based, it was fantastic. But the pizza dessert were so standard and nothing special about it, it mentioned in the menu that the Rafaello dessert pizza has Rafaello pralines and mint which weren’t there, not event a hint of flavour. What I can taste is just a pizza dough with nutella and strawberries which not like what I am expected. Also, the staff who took our order were not so friendly. But I would still say not so bad overall tho.

Good size meal and all the dish we ordered were delicious!! Staff are all friendly. Took a while for all the dishes to come out but it didn't bother us<br/>

Loved the pizza
Lily
This place has gone down hill! We have been here many times in the past and always loved it but this time have a very different opinion. Food came out so quick (which is a worry when you order a seafood pasta, makes me think it was pre made) pizza had no sauce and hardly any topping was more like a cheesy pizza, and pasta had terrible flavour. Will not be returning again! Very disappointed!!!!<br/>
Icum2u69
Absolutely amazing. Food came fast and hot whilst still busy. All the food was amazing, Polpette, pizza, pasta, chicken, wine , chips. All fantastic and the waitresses / waiters were great. Thankyou- refreshing to smile when you pay a bill at a restaurant lately!<br/>
Tina
My partner and I ordered the Carpaccio di Bresaola- Wagyu beef, Risotto con fungi selvatici and Calamari fritti. We really enjoyed all the dishes, they complemented each other nicely. However, portion sizes were quite small in relation to how expensive everything was.
Adriandifede
Food is ok but we found it was over priced, $28 for a rather average plate of pasta. And expect to pay a whopping extra $5 for Barilla gluten free pasta which is the same price at the supermarket as normal pasta. What a rip off!! Things get a lot worse!!! When we asked for a dairy free risotto for allergy reasons they delivered a risotto soaking in cheese. We asked them to take it back and watched the cook behind the counter using his fingers to scrape the cheese off the top of the rice and throw it into the bin while the waiter was waiting ready to bring it back to the table!!! We caught the cook in the act and told him not to do that. Oh boy!! He wasn’t happy!! He did not stop displaying a nasty and aggressive attitude staring at us from across the counter. His fellow chefs decided to join him in a quest to make us feel really guilty and unwelcome. Such primitive behavior you only see in the movies.Of course no apology was given.
K.jones
pizza was undercooked and hardly had any topping on it... for the price they were charging, it was absolutely ridiculous. staff were a bit condescending about it. will never return.
Grazia Prochilo
We come here a lot ! One of the better restaurants upstairs in the new dining area at chadstone!!! They’ve never gotten it wrong so fair !! Drinks food and service ! Almost as good as the original Woodstock ..
Leon
Enjoy this restaurant alot. Excellent pizza and few other dishes which we tried. Very good service. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be back again.
Whenfoodsonpoint
We enjoyed a nice lunch at Woodstock after a busy day shopping around Chadstone. Their pizzas are woodfired and very yummy. We highly recommend trying the antipasto meat platter for an entree. We finished off our lunch with a yummy donut or two! All staff were very friendly with most of them being from overseas.

I don’t know what happened to this restaurant. When it first opened it was amazing! Great food, great service and it was always busy and full. Now the food is not so great, service is ok. The last 2 times that we came was disappointing so have not returned. Pizzas comes out soggy on the bottom and tastes not great. Definitely has dropped from our first visit.
Patricia P
I ordered the lamb salad it was really filling and refreshing. Substituted the beetroot for avocado for no extra charge which I thought was really accomodating from Woodstock :) <br/>Could have had a little more dressing but overall good experience <br/>Food was served really fast too
Yuqing Tian
I had a medium rare risotto there for lunch. And I can’t be bothered to change the dish cuz I don’t have the time. You won’t expect the food was not being well cooked. 1.5 rating is for the mushroom though.
Susumelbourne
We ordered two items, meat lover pizza and mushroom risotto. The pizza is 4/5, but for something costs $20+, we would expect more than just a regular thin crust, ie, more premium ingredient perhaps. The mushroom risotto was pretty BLAND and RAW. As a result, I finished the mushroom and left the half cooked rice there. <br/>Btw, the garnish parsley was.... well, a picture says it all.
Nds
Tiger prawns? Chilli? What i really got was 5 cocktail prawns bought from coles and no chilli. Then the waiter asked if we wanted tomato sauce and aioli with our chips forgetting to tell us it will cost us $2 each. To top off our poor experience the lady at the counter receiving our payment was rude and very stuck up. She just told us how much we owed. Didnt even ask how our meals were. Very disappointing.

Woodstock Pizzicheria has been around since their Nicholson Street store first opened in 1994. Since then they have expanded to different locations such as Brunswick, Essendon and their most recent location, at the Chadstone Shopping Centre. As Woodstock Pizzicheria was introduced to Chadstone along with Chadstone's massive renovation and the opening of the new dining terrace, they recently celebrated their 1st birthday. We were lucky enough to be invited to share in this celebration event with them and to meet some of the people behind Woodstock Pizzicheria, as well as try some of their food.
Melbourne Food Journey
The first time I went I had the 'Woodstock' pizza which was substantial for two people to share. The next time I went I had the 'Gamberi picante' pizza, a prawn pizza. I was expecting a decent amount of prawns but there were only four on the whole pizza! There also weren't as many toppings this time. The pizzas are good quality here but reducing the score due to the stingy serve of prawns on the gamberi pizza. It might be worth renaming the pizza to something else as there aren't enough prawns to call it a prawn pizza.
Steph
Pasta was nice especially the seafood one. However pizza is soggy every time we go. The base is thin but doesn’t account for all the sauce they put on it. Not worth the money for pizza
KnowingMelbourne
What an awesome dining area that Chadstone boasts now and Woodstock is part of what makes it great. Delicious pizzas, pastas and starters, it is a proper dining experience even though you’re in a shopping centre.
DanFoodie
As I write this their current zomato rating is 2.5 which I find really hard to believe. Staff and service was good. Had the Woodstock pizza (potato, zucchini, eggplant etc). Was very tasty and came quickly. One or two spots on the edge were charcoal burnt so a slight negative but no big deal. I enjoyed the pizza and watching the guys cook them with lots of attention. Decor of the place is good. Their average rating should really be closer to 3.5.
Miss Sage Sugar
Woodstock offers traditional Roman-style pizzas, as well as pastas and salads. We shared a ‘Capricciosa Pizza – San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, smoked ham, mushrooms, Ligurian olives, and artichokes ($23.00)’.
Alexia Kara
Unlike some other reviews here, we had a great experience. We only had about an hour as we had to catch a movie, we advised the staff of this and they looked after us to ensure our pizzas come out reasonably quick. Hubby and I both ordered the Minchia (spicy salami with roasted red peppers) and it was delicious! Thin based crust with light toppings. Overall, we were impressed and will be coming back. <br/><br/>Food was great and service was excellent.

Woodstock Chadstone is nestled between beautifully presented restaurants and, as expected, it exudes a gorgeous, chic Italian decor. I loved the vibe!<br/>I ordered the “Gamberi Piccante” pizza (ie Spicy Prawn). With “prawn” in the title, I was expecting (...maybe hoping?) for a lot more prawn than what was served on my pizza. I also didn’t taste a shred of chilli; although what I did taste was A LOT of roquette piled in the middle. Overall, it was ok but pricey.
Van Nguyen
Pleasantly surprised given the reviews on Zomato. We went here for a girls dinner prior to movie. We were in a rush and had noted this to the wait staff, they made note for food to come quite quick. I had the seafood pasta which I was craving for, absolutely delish (I love that it came out in parchment paper too.. super cute). The pizza's were all delish, some better than others - would recommend the margarita pizza and the potato, the eggplant pizza was slightly soggy. I ordered the pasta so wasn't disappointed.. cooked aldente, just how I like it!

Rarely do I find a place with service so appalling that it warrants a negative review. We were told that it would be a 20 minute wait for our party of 9, 4 of which were children under 8. We waited over 45 minutes only to be shown to a table clearly for 6 people, where they forced the 9 chairs. If we had known we would have had to wait so long, we would have taken our kids elsewhere. <br/>After sitting, the service did not get better. The staff did not think that we would need an extra small table? Or extra plates and cutlery? <br/>I understand that it was busy but all the wait staff were running around and ignoring our attempts to get their attention to even order our food. We ordered 3 pizzas, a platter and a pasta. The staff couldn't fit it on the table so they just passed it to us by hand. We had to order drinks multiple times before they brought it over and we were basically serving ourselves with getting bottles of drinking water, spare cutlery that had dropped and stands to put our food on so that we didn't have to hold the plates. Absolutely ridiculous and awful experience. The food was overpriced and average too. The lack of customer service just made the entire experience extremely unpleasant.
Heidi Hulse
The food is very authentic and the staff are fabulous and a lot of them are actually Italian with gorgeous Italian accents. We sat in the one of the Booths at the back of the restaurant which was flooded with natural light. ( we were there for lunch ) Great ambience and beautifully fitted, the pizzas are to die for and very traditional. If I remember correctly there is a long family history to do with Italy and a dough recipe handed down from generation to generation . Oh.... and we didn't make it out of the restaurant without giving in to a refreshing gelato to go from the Italian Gelato stand at the front of the Woodstock Pizzicheria. I highly recommend the Stuffed Olives, they are truly delicious and a very different flavour. Enjoy! 5 Stars from us! đŸ‘đŸŒâ€ïž

$10 EFTPOS minimum..... the cashier offered to charge $10 for 1 scoop since I didn't didn't want to purchase anything else 🙄 also ended up overcharging me for the 3 extra scoops I had to purchase. Would not be returning. P.S the ice cream was not worth it....

Loved loved loved the pizza here. Traditional Italian style. We had the Minchia. Absolutely top quality ingredients.. Molto Bueno................

Mixed Feelings!<br/>Cannot comment on the food, as we only called for some light refreshments. The service and wait staff seemed happy, friendly and attentive. The pizza staff were super bubbly and friendly and seemed to love their work. They communicated well with the patrons even though its perhaps not within their role.<br/>I would question the management staff, IMO they seemed to be a bit aloof and arrogant in their conduct dealing with in-house matters and this added to an air of uncertainty about the place.

Been here a few times and when thy opened their pizzas were amazing! Last time I found the end around the pizza was so thick and so much of it it was horrible! The pizza tastes good but just too much dough. Ordered the calamari and chips for my child, they were coated in this over powering lemon salt that actually was too strong for an adult let alone a kid! Don't think I'll go back in a hurry

The true taste of Italy - Excellent service, very clean, friendly staff and one of the best pizzas I've ever had! I will definitely be back.

Don't bother.<br/><br/>The pizza came with uneven toppings and the service inconsistent.<br/><br/>Price is high end but service differs depending on who is serving. <br/>The most disgraceful is their "roman pizza", it's called lazy pizza cos they couldn't bother to spread the toppings out properly, not to mention there's only 3 large pieces of salami, can't even cut it or have enough to cover the pizza<br/><br/>Not recommended, go to other joints on the same area. Don't bother eating here, expensive and not filling but enjoyable environment if you are after a nice place to relax and drink only

Pretty good! I had the Pescatora which had a good amount of seafood in it and was fresh. Pasta was cooked perfectly and nice flavours. Service was excellent, will certainly return.<br/><br/>EDIT: After a second visit things have steeply declined. Tiny pasta servings now and ingredients weren’t anywhere near as good. Very overpriced.

Food was very average. Had the San Daniele and gnocchi to share between two people. It filled us up but that was about all it did. It was really average Italian food and you can get much better quality food in Melbourne for a much better price. The gnocchi was $28 which is overpriced since it was a vegetarian dish and did not contain any expensive ingredients. Everything is overpriced. For that price, you expect the food to be of much better quality.<br/><br/>The service was pretty bad. The staff are inattentive and rude. It definitely made the experience even more sour. The staff did not seem to care about customer service at all!

Book ahead! We've been wanting to try this a few times but have never been able to get a table so we Finally booked ahead last week! <br/>Decor and environment of the restaurant is great; comfy and relaxing. The perfect spot for a bite before/after the movies. The service wasn't too bad either. We shared an entree, a pasta and a pizza, with two wines. Extremely quick coming out of the kitchen and the food was good. Not amazing but good enough. And all for just under $100 - not bad at all.

Came here on a Saturday night and were seated quite promptly at the kitchen pass on high stools. Here we could see all the action and were even given a try of the olive and veal starters by the chef directly<br/><br/>The vibe of the restaurant is warm and friendly with Italian being spoken by nearly every staff member. Food was tasty but not worth the price we paid and the service was a bit slow. So room for improvement, but certainly a place to visit

Chadstone shopping centre has been well known as the fashion capital, but now can also lay claim to being one of the thriving food hubs in Melbourne. Last year in October , Chadstone underwent a major redevelopment , and as a result, the shopping centre now boasts two dining precints consisting of well known establishments such as the Burger Project, New Shanghai and Fonda. Along with these restaurants, there is also Woodstock Pizzicheria, New Shangahi, Mama's Buoi, Marae Izakaya and Mezz, which shows that Chadstone offers a high caliber of food offerings for all visitors.

I've been here twice because my friends have taken me here. I went here the first time and had Margherita pizza which you can't really stuff up and had the meat balls. Meat balls were average nothing special. The second time I went here had the spaghetti alla carbonara. Those who love pepper and cheese this is the one for you. This was like they just put a handful of pepper and all I could taste was cheese and pepper. Nothing special. Wouldn't go here again. The little bugs that come out from the plants too is annoying.

Woodstock, Chadstone shopping center, cuisine- Italian. OMG chadstone has a restaurant section now! Much needed, one thing this whole new chadstone development has done is made parking a nightmare- but anyways I don't review parking so I will leave that grudge for now đŸ€. So after a movie what do you do - find a pizza place, luckily there was one right there. Much busy we managed to get a table in 10-15 mins (much less than the time spent to find parking!! Sorry - I will let it go!). We ordered just a pizza and it was definitely one of the better ones. There were 4-6 vegetarian options so I liked it. Not one of the best pizzasI have had - well Melbourne has places like Gradi and Tipo00 so standards have been raised. However definitely one of the best in the 'burbs so I shouldn't complain ( will not talk about parking again đŸ˜€). Not very many vegetarian pasta options which is always a disappointment for me. Great place to hang out after a movie or a shopping spree and watch the massive crowd that descends on chadstone everyday! @woodstockpizzicheria @chadstone_fashion @hoytsaustralia #rating3.5 #foodconossieur #pizzalover #missedpasta #woodfiredpizzaalways #vegetarianrocks #lovefoodlivefood #lovebeingavegetarian #vegbourne #melbournefoodie #melbourne #chadstoneshoppingcentre #hoyts #moviedate #instablogger #foodblogger #tryingnewplaces #lovemylife ❀❀

I was a bit hesitant about the quality of the food here, so perhaps my low expectations gave way to pleasant surprise when I found the food to be better than I expected. Service I found a bit- odd. The waiters we had throughout the night, had a strange mix of charm and arrogance, which was probably more bemusing than anything else.<br/><br/>It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but considering it's easy location just downstairs from the movies at Chaddy- it is very convenient. Between myself and some friends we tried the Margherita, the Woodstock and the San Daniele, it wasn't too sloppy- but the serves were huge!<br/><br/>Some other friends said that the pasta was actually pretty good too, so I'd probably try it again if I needed to eat somewhere convenient.

Been here about 4 times now, and I'm always satisfied with the food. Pizzas are well made, delicious and service and ambience is excellent! Would recommend.

Friendly manager and the beautiful atmosphere to dine in. They exactly know how to take care of their customer and the food was delicious. We had couple of pizza and eggplant melangaine and few drinks to share and that was more than enough between 3 of us...

Excellent authentic pizza and delicious pasta. Friendly and attentive staff, and quick service even during busy times. Good prices too, considering the high quality of the food.

Really friendly staff and delicious food!!! We had the meatballs to start and then pasta afterwards, such generous serves and yummy! Will definitely come back!

TAKE MY MONEY!<br/><br/>Whether you order something as simple as the arancini or the Melanzane Parmigiana, you will not be disappointed. This restaurant provides not only friendly service but an authentic Italian menu followed with amazing flavours. Have yet to not enjoy anything on this menu and ensure you ask for buffalo mozzarella with your veal stuffed olives. <br/><br/>10/10 and will continue to return to Woodstock @ Chadstone!
Must Be Hungry
A lazy Saturday afternoon at the shopping centre, we stopped here for a rest and a coffee. Average coffee and fries. Very nice place though, relaxing and beautiful decors. Staff were also very nice and tentative. However this place was quite on the expensive side, two coffee and a bowl of chips set us back $20. Maybe ill just come back for a quick coffee next time.
